The location is exceptional. A very reclusive chalet with plenty of contact with nature. Having breakfast on the porch whilst watching kangaroos jumping just 5m away is an amazing experience. The amenities were superb. The bath tub was quite spacious (and I measure 1.96m). They provide all the toiletries of excellent quality as well. The outdoor shower is quite warm and provided a great experience as well. The chalet we stayed at had a fully functional kitchen, so we'll be looking into booking a longer stay with them for the next time.
The bath tub could fill faster (but I'm really picking at details here)

Perfect location in the middle of the forest, away from anyone else except the birds and kangaroos! We picked this place for this solitude and also the wood fireplace which we use both nights, plenty of wood provided. Only used the tv for the very informative local bird information already set up on it. Lovely light bathroom with huge spa bath which we managed to use on the last morning. Lots of trails around the expansive property which was a plus. Would definitely go back, hopefully for longer next time.
Luckily it wasn’t too cold when we were there but if it was the bedroom might have felt chilly as had no heating. Heard something rummaging around in the roof on the second night - a possum? But didn’t keep us awake.

Well appointed and spacious cottage in a serene bush setting. Quality bed linen, towels and bath robes. Clean couches, cushions and throw rugs. Nespresso coffee machine, lovely outdoor shower, walking tracks and bikes for use. Music on arrival was a nice touch, abundant bird life, and EV charger was fantastic. The cottage was very comfortable and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
The bathrooms are a little tired, but I believe are about to undergo a refurbishment. A great bush view from the shower, but a bit of frosted glass at eye view might be an idea ;)

Location far from busy districts, in te middle of the Forest, literally into the woods, we could experience the contact with nature, kangaroos, rabbits, lizards birds and others fantastic insects. The accommodation is super comfortable, and the spa bath is stunning, with amazing views of the sky and trees.
I would love if there was an aircon in the bedroom. There is only one aircon in the living room for whole accomodation. Specially during summer when the high temperatures reach close to 37 during the day and 30 at night time, it is barely possible to cool down the bedroom. During those 3 nights of stay I woke up in the middle of the night sweaty, and I ended up sitting in the couch in the living room, because it was fresh.

On arrival the chalet was very clean and cosy, excellent quality furnishings and well stocked with milk, tea and coffee! Lots of firewood ready for the log fire to be lit making it super warm. Lots of local roo’s to watch while eating brekkie or having an afternoon tea, so close you could almost touch them. Great location with a beautiful lake and various walking and riding trails (great with the free loan mtb’s) that get you closer to beautiful flora and fauna! Watch out for the large Huntsman spiders; plenty of those in the forest!
Nothing that we can think of! The facilities exceeded our expectations, the staff were super friendly and helpful when needed (which was not often).

The heating had been turned on and google playing soft music and a small light on giving you an amazing welcoming feel. The spa bath with the glass roof was amazing. Even had bubble bath supplied. Very secluded you can leave the blinds/curtains open. Lovely feeling to have a cuppa in bed and watch the kangaroos outside munching away in the early morning. The mountain bikes provided was also a nice touch.
Everything was amazing. Only thing I could fault was no Black Tea tbags but other teas and coffee machine with pods were there and used

The grounds were stunning. From the second you turn off the main road, you get a feel for how special this place is. The chalets are nestled in at the back, and you wind through the beautiful woodland. The chalet itself was well appointed, with quality appliances. The Google Home with Spotify was a nice touch. The spa bath was amazing, and the bed SO comfortable! The chalet was immaculately clean. Great location being only 20 mins from the heart of Margaret River.
Nothing!

This was our third stay here, location is perfect for us, we cooked for ourselves, the wildlife was great, possums, kangaroo's, and beautiful parrots, the sounds of nature was very relaxing. Everything was perfect, even had excellent internet speed, the log fire was nice, and an ample supply of logs. the bikes were great as well, as the trails are amazing to discover even more wildlife.
can't think of a single thing...

The quietness and location, not too close to the neighbors, bush walks, spa and wood heater
Some room for minor improvements. Bedroom electric heater - nowhere to plug it into the power. Cutlery could have been cleaner. Red bike had a buckled back wheel. The request for CC details was inappropriate given the booking was made via Booking.com so they already had all of our details.

We knew we had picked a special place to stay the moment we arrived at Forest Rise. The approach to the chalets is along a beautiful tree-lined road, with fields (and kangaroos!) on either side. We arrived after the reception had closed and initially there was a slight problem finding out which chalet we were staying in. But with one phone call, it was very quickly resolved. The chalet itself was extremely spacious (for just us two!), clean and comfortable, with modern conveniences including a Nespresso coffee machine which was a lovely touch. It had a big fully equipped kitchen and a huge bathroom with a great shower and a spa bath. The bedroom was tastefully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. We loved sitting on the patio, drinking coffee and listening to the birdsong. The secluded bush setting was beautiful and peaceful. It was an escape into nature and we loved every minute of our magical stay, including a walk around the lake and star gazing at night. We even caught sight of a kangaroo passing by the chalet, which was amazing to see! We only had two nights here, and we had quite a busy itinerary in Margaret River. Needless to say, neither of us was ready to leave and we wish we could have stayed longer to experience the property and surrounding bushland walking trails. We would love to stay here again.
It's hard to come up with things we didn't like because we loved every moment of our stay. The spa was a little tricky to work but we figured it out. We also noticed the odd bug (cockroach) and quite a few ants. But it's a bushland setting, so it's to be expected. I guess the only thing we really didn't like was the fact we had to leave!
