Location abd breakfast lovely. Staff so friendly too

Few things need improvements. Bath too high, needs a step. Could be dangerous, especially getting out. TV too small for the room. Mirror not over basin so awkward for shaving. Plus was our 49th anniversary and husband's birthday. For the price of the stay, a complimentary bottle of bubbles would have been appreciated. A nice gesture.

The property is so beautiful, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had so many choices and tasted incredible. We were so impressed by everything, nothing could’ve been done better!

The only tiny thing I’d advise, is if you like to sleep-in then don’t have a room inside near the reception area. The noise travels straight through upstairs (there’s 2 rooms upstairs). So if you want to sleep-in past 7am rather book an outside room.

I had an absolutely fabulous stay at this resort retreat. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking bush views and easy access to nearby attractions. The breakfast was delectable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming experience throughout our entire stay. I can't wait to return and have another spa treatment.

Nothing, everything was above expectations.

Everything was amazing, far exceeded my expectations. The scenery from the Villa is AMAZING. The spa is so luxurious. The common areas were so fancy, yet cosy. The villa was spacious and open , the balcony and outdoor shower area was our favourite. The lake on the property was beautiful with lots of wildlife. The gazebo with 180* views of the land was stunning. Service was exceptional from reception, the chef and the cleaners. I will definitely be back. It was the most enjoyable weekend away I have ever had.

The only thing we had issues with was finding the entry to the retreat when driving back in the dark. The entrance could use a better light source as it comes up quickly on a high speed road and we drove straight past it.

The grounds and room were beautiful, it was so nice to switch off and really relax. It was good to have a later start (breakfast served from 8am) but it worked well because nothing was open until 10am. 5 minutes out of Dunsborough meant you had access to shops but then be out in nature. The breakfast each morning was great and in the tie we were at breakfast, the room was always made up - so efficient and quick!

Ambience of the property, the lovely staff and feeling welcomed and given a private tour on arrival. The quality of the facilities, styling in rooms, and quality of all products from bath salts, to soap, to toothpaste, to teabags- everything was premium and beautifully curated. Outdoor shower, bathtub, and the delicious breakfast that is included

Fly screens in the windows would’ve been great

The breakfast was delicious and very fresh and the breakfast room was beautiful with amazing views. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom area was particularly spacious. We loved the outdoor shower and private deck.

Can't think of anything

One of the loveliest hotels I’ve stayed in (and I was an International Flight Attendant). We stayed in one of the smaller rooms attached to the main building and you could tell it was so thoughtfully designed and was so cosy. We would absolutely stay again.

The only slight criticism we had was the breakfast - nothing wrong with it, we just felt the choices were a little overcomplicated and our dishes were a little sickly with all the sauces. Beautifully presented though and you couldn’t fault the staff.

Staff were extremely attentive, the retreat itself was so beautiful with such a calm, relaxing environment! The rooms were amazing and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was delicious. As for the spa I had a pregnancy massage and it was so good! Highly recommend this place!!!

Absolutely nothing bad to say

Breakfast was amazing, one cooked breakfast each morning and continental buffet options. The retreat itself is gorgeous, decor is beautiful and staff so kind. A sense of calm when you enter.

Would be amazing for the retreat to have a pool.
