Bay Village Resort Dunsborough

The property is in a great location and the villas we had were excellent as we had all 3 rooms. It was fantastic that all bedrooms had great sized bathroom and full spa facilities and there was a communal bathroom as well. The beds were very comfortable.

The shower head in our bathroom was only just manageable as it constantly fell down and you had to reposition it. When the shower was on it only just stayed in place, so we didn't have to complain at the time and get someone to fix to have a shower, however, it really should be fixed. The pool was also not available while we were there and we were informed before our visit however, we were not offered any discounts on what is a very expensive villa for 4 nights.

Location, bed, kitchen facilities, air con, parking. smack bang in the middle of town so you can walk to Tas's bakery, cafes, peko peko, coles, etc in a couple mins. Bay Village is prime Dunsborough location. 10-15mins from all the best beaches for surfing/relaxing. 10-15mins from all the great wineries and breweries. Pourhouse and La Lah's (cafes) literally a 1-2min walk. You can also call up 'The Wave' if you want a free lift to Caves House for drinks on the weekend.

Shower temperature was either extremely hot or extremely cold - even when we tried to move the tap 1mm left/right. This only happened in 40C this time - we previously stayed in a different room and didn't have this issue at all. We would still stay here again because we love it so much.

Location was right in town, within walking distance & close to everything. Even though it was on the main street it was very quiet in the complex. Very reasonable rates for self contained units. Parking was good right next to the unit. Shower water was hot & heating/cooling unit was reverse cycle. Nice little verandah out front to enjoy the afternoon sun. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Will stay at this accommodation again in the future.

Safe in the bedroom could be replaced & bedside lighting could be improved for reading in bed. Minor & probably really not worth mentioning as our stay was very pleasant.

A great place to stay, close to the beach and the shops. And restaurants Very central and convenient. The room was clean and tidy nice one bedroom apartment with spa and kitchen and well equiped. Yallingup 10min Margaret River about 30min drive staff very friendly good place to come for a week holiday

The pool should off be a bit hotter in temperature and it needs private glass so people outside can not see maybe need a play area for kids you have a green soccer field that needs to be updated and put something there for kids to do

Fantastic location for a extended weekend vacation with so many great cafes/pubs within walking distance of the accommodation. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the resort; Considering it was a busy long weekend we expected it to get a bit noisy, but it didn’t which was surprising and really nice! Loved the spa bath! Also, the spa bath rooms come with fridge/microwave/kettle/toaster/cups/cutlery, we were surprised at the amenities in the room, as we were expecting only tea/coffee/kettle, definitely a plus if like us you are there for a few nights. All-in-all we had a great stay and will definitely stay here again if we head to Dunsborough!!

the property was fantastic in the best place so close to everything didn’t have to get I. the car to go anywhere I loved it it reminded me of Bali 💙

there was nothing to dislike about this property I would recommend it to my friends 💙the only thing that I am a cleaner have my own franchise with Jani king for 20 years the the villa we stayed needed more attention when it came to cleaning and dusting, toilets , stairs , beside the washing machine a build up of dust and dirt the floor ups stairs in bathroom looked like it hadn’t been mopped lounge pillows were dirty all stainless steel appliances in the kitchen were not very good either apart from all that the place was wonderful those things can be rectified we will definatly be back thank you for a wonderful weekend ❤️

Good location. Walking distance to town. Clean and convenient with all the self catering facilities one would expect. The bar next door is great and does awesome food.

I’m a bit disappointed in the booking of this place as there are many room choices. I booked a 2 bed one bath cottage which looked on the photos to have upstairs downstairs with an alfresco patio area, pool view and spa which it didn’t. So a bit misleading for the price. I thought what we got was not what paid for.

The location is literally perfect for families you can pop into town within a few minutes walk, pop To the beach in 2 min walk, pool is convenient and all under cover, rooms were comfy and beds aswell. We stayed for two weeks and chose not to have our linen changed as we washed ourselves but more than able to pop it out and they will swap it during your stay. The girls at reception are just lovely! Would really love it if they got their spa portion back that was closed during covid for a mumma that would have been the absolute best!

The apartment we stayed at was very spacious. The beds were super comfortable. Kitchen area was very good

The ensite shower /spa shower is not the best at all. No pressure and cold water, not really hot water. Also the ensuite door does not close properly. Gets stuck and needs adjusting. The kids rooms have a small electric heater that don't so much to heat the rooms at night. We needed a tissue and that's all that was there 1 tissue placed in the box and I guarantee they will replace that tissue with another single tissue. The pool was not really heated as such. It was still cold and the sauna was not operating.

Bay Villge is always good for very reasonable weekly rates in the basic accommodation section. Older style cottages, still with everything you need and clean and comfortable easy parking easy check in and out. Have stayed here 3 times so far and would return if ever necessary. Indoor heated pool is a plus. Location is great. Centre of town and halfway down the road between shops and town beach.
