The breakfast may have been a bit more upmarket. The selection and quality was perfect but a place like this should have a limited a la carte breakfast menu.

Make sure you don’t have a room in “The Villa”. The door quality is totally not matched with the hotel’s rating. They slam and make a lot of noise. Especially if there is a wedding at the venue. You can hear everyone during the night entering and leaving. Even if they try to be quiet. The soundproofing is worthless. The rest of the room is super.

A great stay as always at the Butte aux Bois, and very difficult to leave after only one night! The hotel is immaculate and beautiful, the spa is pristine and relaxing, and the staff are extremely courteous and attentive. The perfect hotel.

Nothing, it's the perfect hotel and there is nothing I can imagine that would make it better, except perhaps if I were allowed to live there on a permanent basis.

Beautiful location with a friendly and professional "onthaal" incl. a short tour of the facilities. The porter takes your luggage to the room and valet parking. All facilities incl. full functional wellness are spotless and top notch. Two excellent in-house restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was one of the best we had in a life of int. traveling.

Woodland location was ideal for long dog walks. Spa treatments (thx Barbara!) were fantastic, and spa itself is in a gorgeous modern building with pool. Restaurant El Ciel was also fantastic loved our meal. Lobby and all communal areas make such an impression 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Next time would choose the more modern rooms in new wing over the separate villa rooms which are still nice but an older style.

Very welcoming and comfortable. The staff went out of their way on both visits to make sure that my two small dogs and I were happy - the beds, bowls and treats for my dogs were much appreciated. My meals were truly delicious and as it happens, I had room service during my stay - all perfect and on time, including early breakfasts.

Nothing not to like. I regret I did not have time to visit the other facilities.

Chocolate on the bed when they get the room ready for the night. Facility is very great and overall very pleasent staff. Quite place relaxing, very enjoyable. Very clean and awesome views from rooms.

Personnel mainly speaks dutch which leads to sometimes us getting lost in translation in french (spouse does not speak english/dutch)

Good quiet place, everything beautiful around and inside.

Inside of appartment was all the washing and cleaning things for the bathroom for 1 person only, when we was two persons.... and sound isolation is quiet not to much inside, we could hear all the others with their childrens screaming half night. Water inside bathroom where is the crane not going good..

structure seems under staffed, both reception and restaurant service were not really up to standard for a such a high level hotel.

The hotel itself is beautiful and situated in the middle of the secluded forest. The spa facilities were excellent, with sauna, indoor pool, hot tum, hammam, and even cold water plunges and infrared beds. The staff were polite and responsive.
