View from our room (12th floor) is simply stunning, facilities overall / location (you can reach everything you need around in Rio), great selection during breakfast (varies daily), helpful reception staff members, peaceful part of Leme and clean beach area in front. Oh - and amazing view from the rooftop (hotel could think of certain type of live music evenings time-to-time when weather allows). If we're ever passing by Rio - we will definitely consider staying here again. Thank you!

Slightly overpriced for the rooms on the top floors, but it's a price to be paid for the views. Pool on the top we couldn't use (needs a bit of refreshment / renovation), fitness area nice (but rather on a small size - if it's not crowded, then it's fine). The rest - really good/balanced for the price you pay.

The location is amazing, away from busy traffic but close enough to be a short walk or a very cheap Uber ride. Breakfast was also really complete and good, the timing was long so it didn’t feel very crowded even when the hotel was full.

They locked us out of the Wi-Fi as soon as we checked out, we had to use personal data to get the Uber for the airport which felt a bit exaggerated. There was also one lift that was not working properly and kept stopping at floor 1 no matter what we pressed and it became a real annoyance when the hotel was at full capacity and there’s only 2 lifts. Also, the pool is not a real pool. It’s more of a puddle than an actual swimming pool.

the location was fantastic, right in front of the beach lots of restaurants close by and pretty close to most attractions, roughly 20-30 mins in uber. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I was there for my boyfriends 30th birthday and they upgraded our room to sea view for free which was amazing and extremely kind. On the day of he’s bday they gave him a nice surprise at breakfast too. The breakfast was nice, fairly the same on most days but had pancakes and waffles and sausage rolls sometimes which was nice. they also made us fresh fried eggs when you request which was nice. The roof top was really nice with great views too the gym was okay but only went once. When we were checking out they allowed us to extend our room for 3 hours for free as our flight was late and they let us leave our luggage after checkout. All in all I was very impressed with everything including the staff and would stay here again.

While my likes far outweighed my dislikes, I will say that despite the nice view from our room, being on the twelfth floor under the pool, we could hear the motor or pump turn on every morning and run constantly. A sign also says the twelfth floor opens at 9 am, and even at 9:25 am when we tried to go to the rooftop for the view one morning, it was closed with the glass door locked. Also, the shower had great pressure but didn’t drain very well with water pooling in one corner; daily housekeeping was great though.

Clean, great view, friendly staff rooms were excellent.

The only downside to this hotel was a lack of vegetarian / vegan options. My other half is vegetarian and I'm lactose intolerant but most things on the menu either had cheese or meat. The meat dishes were very good, but would've been nice to have more options, i pretty much stuck to eggs and bread every day for brreakfast with the occasional sausage, as the other dishes contained cheese.

View from our room across to the beach. Very close to the beach & good for local restaurants. Everything worked in the room. We had to make two extra bookings due to confusion with the tour that we were joining and the hotel allowed us to stay in the same room although this may not have been the quality of the room that the tour had booked. Breakfast was good although a little more variety would have been nice.

Dinner in the evening had a very limited menu & was expensive for what it was.

Perfect location, great room, spacious bathroom, comfortable linen. Very nice breakfast. Its very close to Leme Beach, where its easy move around: its in the middle between downtown Rio and Ipanema, and next to Copacabana. Staff was very kind, specially Igor (front desk/check in).

not exactly dislikes but worth mention: the curtains in our need washing and the “ducha higiênica” in the bathroom wasn’t functional.

I loved the hotel! The staff was super helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I loved the location and and felt very safe to the point my 9 year old and I took trips to the beach at night. Lots of people exercising and playing beach volleyball. Also bars.

The breakfast was excellent. I would just like to have Had more space around the buffet, it got a little hectic at times

I really did not like the fact that the breakfast lunch and dinner menus did not include any vegan options. There are a lot of people who cannot consume animal products either due to health or ethical reasons. And all decent hotels should have options for vegans. I would not stay at this hotel again for this reason alone.

Arena Leme was where my fiancé and I stayed when we first met in 2018; it was a given that we would return here after we were married Sept. 15. Thank you for adding to our wonderful memories.

The pillows were a little lumpy, and we needed twice to call for additional hand towels for the bathroom. Service responsiveness was exceptional.🙂
