Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston

Great breakfast which featured toast, cereal, juice, fruit, yogurt, muffins and an egg and sausage bun you could heat up in the microwave. The owner was very accommodating and hard working. Very close to Kingston, although the bridge construction could add an extra 30 minutes to your travel time into Kingston. This should be remedied once the construction is over (check on-line). This hotel was only a 20 minute drive to the lovely town of Gananoque. We would definitely stay here again. We really appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room. Very quiet and clean.

Everything was fine.

The Manager was really accommodating with late check-out. Ample parking space, next to highway so easy access. Breakfast was not much due to COVID. Will suggest this place.

There were a few noises from adjacent rooms at night that was annoying.

The room was quiet. The couple who ran the motel always tried their best to fulfill our request. They were kind and always readily available. I was expecting a simple continental breakfast, but the waffle machine was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast area was at capacity when we were there, but they managed to keep things organized and the food and coffee was refilled promptly.

The room had everything we need: a stove, utilities for cooking, dishes, water kettle, fridge, a/c, etc, but it was a bit outdated.

The best nights sleep I've had on my trip, the beds and pillows are super comfortable, the blackout drapes actually do their job, the area is extremely quiet. The room and bathroom are clean. I loved the soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower (finally!!), it makes it so much easier with kids. Great breakfast. Loved the pool and picnic area with trees all around. The property is well maintained and the owners are clearly sparing no effort to make their guests feel welcome. Overall a perfectly peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The walls and ceiling need washing, it looks like many people (ourselves included) have swatted a good number of insects in the room (whose presence is understandable given the area but still unpleasant). Also, despite all the positives, I think the room is overpriced for a motel.

The room (a suite) was spacious and clean. Comfortable mattresses and couch. Nice kitchenette with sink, coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Reasonable distance from downtown. Friendly staff.

The heater was a bit too noisy. Even on "off" position, it started periodically for a few seconds waking us up during the night. The breakfast was ok, except for some hard boiled eggs that were stored peeled in a cold container and were sticky to touch. We did not dare to eat them. I would recommend keeping the eggs cold and in their shells.

Surprisingly quiet from the other occupants, but definitely something most people like (including myself). The breakfast had more options than I expected, and was a good start to the day. The bed was very comfortable. Nearby to the city center.

Not really something I dislike, but thought I could mention either way. The parking spaces should be associated to the room number. I had to walk a bit, but again, it's not that big of a deal.

i liked the fact that there was a bbq , picnic area and pool. owner opened pool for us thru a heat wave despite not being up and ready promptly replaced propane for bbq replaced fridge not working property is pride of ownership good little breakfast

Nice, friendly staff. The breakfast was basic but adequate, and the staff made sure the area was clean. Items were replaced as guests are them. Good basic hotel. Good value for the money.

It is a little out of town for those that want to be close to Kingston. While clean, it is a typical 90s style older design.

The management was very considerate and helpful. When I could not log on to the Wifi due to poor signal/ tech issues , they upgraded my room at no extra cost, and were always very polite and pleasant. The rooms are warm, comfortable with microwave, fridge coffee makers and dogs are welcome; there is even a park to walk them out in, as well as close by trails. It is a lovely quiet area and close to town and the Base.

Initially the wifi was bad, but the management provided an excellent solution. There is no obvious smoking area so guests will sometimes smoke in front of their rooms ...as a non smoker asthmatic I would like to see a clearly marked smoking area, so I am not exposed to second hand smoke.

The beds were comfortable and big, we had a mini-fridge, breakfast had all the standard options of yogurt, milk, hard-boiled eggs, etc. There was a pool but we didn't have time to use it. It was a very short drive to Fort Henry and downtown Kingston.

There was hardly any soap left for the shower, and not a lot of seating in the breakfast room.
