Central location was great for walking, we are craft beer lovers so it was perfect as we were beside a craft brewery. Parking was central and easy to access and the room was very spacious though a bit noisy as we were right beside the stairwell and the doors are thin.

The room was large and spacious though a bit outdated. You could tell the bathroom, though big, was well enjoyed by many others, though I know they are at the beginning of their transformation after being acquired by another hotel company so the updates will be well warranted.

We received a free upgrade to two queen size double beds for two persons because we prefer to sleep in separate beds. Also, we got a room in the top floor with a very nice view onto the lake and a nice corner of Kingston, which was really great. Location is perfect, in the very heart of Kingston. Staff was friendly. Because of Covid, room cleaning had to be asked for, but that was the case in other hotels too. We had some very nice Suites in other places that were a lot more expensive, but somehow, I found this hotel much better, especially when it comes to value for the price. I just felt quite like at home, not like at most other places I found the beds were very comfortable. The connected Street Sizzle restaurant was also serving really good food (yummy but not too greasy). Sadly, it was closed for a lot of the time due to an imminent lockdown, but I would recommend to give it a try, because I found many of the places in the street to eat at worse and often much more expensive too.

Some of the interior is a bit dated. Especially the bathroom (again, was also the case in the Suites we booked at other places, even worse actually). The fridge in on of the rooms was noisy, but these are minor things. Nothing was broken or didn't function (not like in other places), but it was just not really new (though of decent quality). It has carpets in the rooms, which I generally do not prefer due to hygienic reasons (still, most hotels have them). The car park is a bit costly at 20$, but it is a regular price in the area for underground parking per day and it was very spacious and easy to park in.

The downtown location was nice to be able to walk around and enjoy shopping and restaurants and the Saturday market. It was nicely decorated for the holidays. The bed was comfortable as was the pull-out couch. We appreciated the microwave and mini-fridge in our room. Our junior suite had a balcony with a nice view of the waterfront and City Hall.

I didn't like paying an extra $20 per day for parking or how long it took to get to the parking garage. We had to take 2 elevators; one from the garage then another to our hotel room. Also, my husband had to go to 3 floors before he was able to get an ice machine that worked.

Our suite was nicely appointed with a separate living area. It was spotlessly clean and included a coffee/tea maker, fridge and microwave. Very handy. We called the front desk a couple of times for replacement supplies e.g. kleenex tissues and someone arrived at the door with them almost immediately. The bed linens and towels were very good quality. Best of all were the front desk staff. They were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to ensure we were comfortable. We really enjoyed our visit.

The front lobby area could use a "facelift" but actually it didn't matter because now, during COVID restrictions, we didn't use it anyway. Also, the WiFi in the room was very intermittent. Sometimes it was no problem. During the morning, it was difficult to receive.

The location was perfect for a 1-night stay visiting my son at Queen's. I also brought my small dog and walking her was easy. The pet fee was very reasonable. I'll stay there again. I also appreciated the mini fridge and microwave.

I had forgotten the brick for my charging cord. There was a USB port in the desk in my room but unfortunately it didn't work. However, when I mentioned this when checking out, the hotel staff member said that they have ones for loan when that happens. I should have called the front desk!

Great location, good view of water, close to restaurants and waterfront, close to historical area of the city

The pool wasn’t full on our first day and there was a dirty ring around the interior of the pool. On the second day, when we arrived at the pool, the two men were about to close the pool and when they saw our grandchildren, they kept it open. The pool was full but the dirty ring was still present.

Location is excellent—near car charger for my electric car. Also close to the restaurant my sons had picked out—The Keg. Staff were very helpful and added my Marriott membership number to my reservation with no problem. Appreciated the free fresh coffee in the morning.

I had a great stay. I couldn’t suggest anything except perhaps free breakfast!

We checked in and the lady at the front desk was very efficient, we requested a late check out as we were there to accompany my daughter as she was completing her Master's Degree at Queen's University. Our family member was there at the Hotel room to witness the degree on zoom, so she needed a quiet room with no interruptions and on the manager of the hotels approval we were allowed to check out at 3 30 in the afternoon at no charge! So we thankyou for that. We also like the fact that the room is divided with a pull out couch, 2 tvs and separate sleeping areas. Appreciation and thanks to the cleaning staff who were constantly cleaning walls, elevators and lobby, Thank you!

Very comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet room near the elevators. Bathroom was extremely clean and the in-room microwave and refrigerator were very convenient. Great location too - right by city hall and about 5-10 minutes walk from cafes, restaurants, Princess Street stores and the waterfront.

There were no utensils, bowls or plates (considering the room had a microwave). Even disposable items would have been welcome.

Loved the staff and the location. Kudos to Ron at the front desk for being so warm and welcoming.

The $60 for parking was unexpected and rather unnecessary as there was really no major check or security. I'm sure the hotel can include this as a complimentary service in their room rate, especially given the fact that there is a fair amount of money being saved as there is no housekeeping service either.
