If the room is not ready, guests waiting in the lounge should be informed when it becomes available, without having to go through the queue multiple times. The hotel staff should update them directly once the room is ready, as they have already gone through the queue. I was told the room would be ready in 30 minutes, but I had to go through the queue three times to get the key. Additionally, the reception staff could benefit from training in politeness.

Reciption lady who checked me in, was very nice, then her college was very tough and unfriendly, if I decided not to go ever to same hote will be because of him.....they must choose their crew....

Reciption staff...guy was upset that the young lady assigned me a big room... that is why he insists not to let me checked in till 1700hrs, everytime trying asking g if room is ready, never answer...he let me wait from 9:30 am till 17:00 hr sleeping on chair, missing salawat... when starts complain through All Accor Clustom relation, I recieved the key at same moment he told me room is not ready....he made me upsets....

It took me 1.5 hours to check it. The men who manned the check in counter were very slow. This is below by any standard for even a 3-star hotel. What more for Movenpick - a 5-star hotel.

Location was very close to Haram Breakfast is one of best of my hotel bookings The room that was changed after I complained at arrival was very good and spacious.

At arrival it took ages to finish check in there were only 2 staff at front desk which should not be the case at peak times and the staff were a bit slow. At arrival they gave me a 4 bed room which was not at at all like pictures in booking it was very very small we hardly could walk in room with 4 beds ( at booking it is starting that room size was 39 m2 which was not! ) room was very dirty I was very shocked! And furniture was broken and very old it did not look like a hotel room at all ! When I went to front desk to complain they said no available rooms to exchange so I had to stay a whole night and day in that room with my family with no compensation! The front desk lady promised to give another room next day and I waited till night to receive the other room.

Location is excellent on the doorstep of masjid al nawabi. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was also efficient. It is certainly good value for money and the buffet breakfast is adequate. Note that hotels on this side are closer to the women’s entrance whereas the ones on the opposite side of the mosque are a fair walk from the women’s entrance but a little cheaper and newer. Meshal at reception was great, he upgraded both of my part haram views to full haram views so a big thank you to him. He loves premier league football so get chatting to him and you might get an upgrade :-)

Nothing to dislike

Close to Masjid-an-Nabi on the back side entrance. Close to nearby shopping and eating options. Room was spacious and comfortable. All of the amenities were provided and the breakfast spread was very nice. Staff were welcoming and willing to help answer questions. Beds were comfy and our room had an amazing view of the Masjid. Wifi worked great in the room and throughout the hotel.

The only downside was the distance from the hotel to the Masjid--I felt this was a little farther away compared to other hotels I have stayed in Madinah which are more centrally located. Still, you can catch prayer outside and not have to travel too far from the hotel if you are not desiring to pray inside the mosque. Just need to factor additional time which is typical for Makkah and Madinah given the rush of people. Also should factor additional time to catch an elevator during peak prayer times. Even though there were about 6 or 7 elevators in each tower, there were times when you would have to wait for an open elevator to go up or down.

The hotel's proximity to Masjid un-Nabawi is excellent. We were only about 1 minute walk from gate 328 which is also close to shops and food places. There are 6 lifts which help with crowds after the prayers.

The beds are very hard and I felt they were uncomfortable. The hotel wouldn't be classed as five star in my opinion. The decor is possibly from the late 90s. During Ramadan, one quad room cost over 2.4k for 6 nights. So, it's not the most cost effective.

Continuous steady flow of control water in the bathroom. Bed mattress was firm and we always like it that way.

Breakfast food items can be more healthier and more more good quality fruits choices. Room in booking.com was listed as with city view and haram view but that was not was given to us. Bathroom was moldy (tile corners, around the sink) and too small shower.

good hotel clean only issue staff no prefinal manger Mrs. Rachel was very bad attitude And lie to the client i book one 2 bad room suit and on room i asked her to be in one floor she informed me this 2 tip of room hotel don't have it in on floor i told her i was in the hotel last week and i book 0520 an 0518 it was in one floor i agree if not available but dont inform me you don't have it finally i asked her manger and give me my book in one floor i do not understand way her attitude like this i one hotel our word never see no to gust but she was very bad .
