Hotel is connected to Heathrow terminal 4 through a covered tunnel, perfect to access from this terminal. Very practical if landing on or catching a plane in terminal 4. It is not a straight-forward transit to other terminals, though, especially very early in the morning - I had to book a cab since Heathrow standard transport cross-terminals (trains and bus) does not operate before 5am.

I could not benefit from breakfast since I checked out very early (4am), so no opinions on that.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful throughout. The room was larger than expected and generally very comfortable - well designed. There were onsite choices of places to eat, good breakfast included, a small shop for necessities & gifts. Convenient location near the airport.

Can't think of anything. I will stay there again.

I have spent most of the past two months in IHG hotels, including the two weeks here at Holiday Inn Express T4, and once again, the staff were fantastic. The gentleman who checked me in at reception was very friendly and was working hard to assist all customers whilst maintaining professionalism and being welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and the food at breakfast was lovely. Connected to T4 departures via a covered walk way.

At the price point, there's very little to complain about. It was a very busy period being summer at Heathrow so breakfast got very busy on occasion. Perhaps the only mention would be that for longer stays, the Crowne Plaza (next door - same hotel group) offered more amenities such as the gym and in-room fridge. However, for short stays this hotel is perfect. This is not a complaint as the Crowne Plaza came at a higher cost.

Excellent location close to T4 and therefore excellent connections via train, tube and bus. The breakfast buffet offers both continental and full English. Lots of choices available. Breakfast times start quite early and thus are perfect for workers and travellers, but also finish late in the morning during the weekends and bank holidays which is great for holiday makers.

The only negative point was that we could hear the people in the next room due to lack of insulation around the communication door, despite the door being closed & locked.

Location so close to the arrival at Heathrow was excellent, particularly after a very long exhausting flight. the beds were comfy, air conditioning great, but the all time winner - the breakfast was Superb and everyone seemed incredibly happy together because the food was so great. The staff at breakfast were also Amazing and the used plates taken away so quickly which was awesome as you could happily go and get some more.

We booked a double room with sofa and on arrival were asked if we needed the sofa, and for “the greater good” of other people willingly gave it up, but no offer of refund of the difference in price. The tv turned itself off and on again from time to time but we were too tired to ask for a room change, and the water flow in the shower could be stronger.

The Hotel's most plus point is its location , walk to the hotel directly from terminal exit makes it a convenient place to stay. You don't have to take taxi, bus etc and walk straight into it via skybridge . I personally liked it since i was with wife and kids and few luggage. Food is also good , you can manage a day or two with same menu . Breakfast was ok though, it had beef and sausages definitely something that most of the Indians will skip and will have to take few breads , fruits juices , but the good part was grab and go , we picked something for the infant which helped . Over all satisfied it was a pleasant stay

The door dint have a stopper , you have to hold it always to move things in & out .

The room was good. There needs to be more seating in the room. It would be nice if you had vending machine options (not just a restaurant) so people can get snacks in the middle of the night.

We had a family room, which was a regular double bed and a fold-out couch bed. The couch bed was horrible. My son is 14 so is adult sized, but that bed was not a comfortable bed for someone adult sized. With the couch being a bed, that took away any seating in the room that was not a bed, so there weren't options to sit besides on your bed.

This is a quality Holiday Inn Express product - a large hotel purpose built for overnighting from Terminal 4 at Heathrow. While that may not sound inviting, I found this property to be truly inviting. Rooms were decently sized, clean, with a decently sized bathroom. The windows were sound-proofed, so there was no noise from Heathrow. It's truly convenient - linked to T4 by a covered bridge - with a 5 minute walk to the terminal. I was given an extended check out, making for a great way to spend the morning before an afternoon flight.

The breakfast buffet was pretty basic - which was a bit disappointing. Lots of meat, some scrambled eggs, and a lot of bread products. It was fine - did the job of giving a decent breakfast. The lack of places to eat around the hotel would make a longer stay a bit more challenging.

This is the second time we've stayed here and we will continue to use this hotel! The facilities are excellent (fast wifi, two restaurants, great bathroom, reading lights, information screens, adjustable AC)! Also the price was very fair and the convenience outstanding (I walked across to Terminal 4 then caught the free train to terminal 3. I could have paid the 7 pounds for the shuttle or taken a cab to terminal 3--there are many options!) Also the breakfast starting at 5am is thoughtful and terrific!

Very convenient location to the terminal at which we had a connecting flight. Breakfast was included and excellent. Dinner at the cafe restaurant was good especially the food although the house wines were not particularly notable for their cost . The rooms were very clean and newly renovated and the bathroom was equally nice . Total real estate was small so not much room between end of bed and accompanying room wall. Overall very pleased and good choice.

It is very large so you did get the impression it was one of many units and thus most things were automated and people contact was at a minimum but all we ran into were very nice and helpful. Interestingly only staffed with Indian personnel and rarely some of the staff were hard to understand such as placing our order for dinner but again they went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and be helpful.
