Our room was not at the side of the street so we did not hear a lot at all. We slept very good every night. When you read other reviews a lot of people complain about how dark the hotel is but I found it very charming. They also complained about how weird it was to light the room, which was very odd to me because it was very clear how to use it. When all the lights were on you saw more than enough. The cleaning ladies were very friendly as well and the room was always very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly too. I absolutely had a great time in this hotel and I really can recommend it. The location is excellent!

There is not a single thing I can think of.

The hotel is very good, excellent location, easy to find, very good connection to airport (Aerobus and Metro), very clean room and facilities, good breakfast; really helpful, polite and efficient staff at reception. They will store your luggage if you have to check out hours prior to departure and let you take a rest at the rooftop bar/ garden or at the first floor free of charge.

The room was dark, no full daylight ever reached it and slightly worn. The light buttons take time to get used to, but these are negligible drawbacks and the hotel kind of grows on you, eventually.

Excellent reception staff, very pleasant + helpful (even before we arrived, they communicated re transport from the airport). Lovely room, everything there. Very central location beside both red + blue bus routes. Will defo go back - planned for February but hotel full!!!

Weird glass wall between the shower + bedroom - a bit intimate when you're just friends but hey ho, we used it. Otherwise nothing, everything just fine.

Top notch location and super friendly and efficient check in. A modern hotel that seems far, far better than its 3 star rating. Very modern hotel and spacious bedrooms. There is a roof top bar and small pool (great views) and a very good breakfast offering with very modern decor and an outside terrace on the first floor. Excellent WIFI and easy connectivity. An extra special mention to the hotel for sorting a problem with the shaver socket in one of the rooms in record time. The staff are really a credit to this hotel.

The only criticism, and it is minor, is that the seating area in the reception could be improved with two comfortable modern sofas instead of one bench.

Good location away from busiest parts of town but very walkable to the same in multiple directions. Has a pool to cool off ( note not deep, is spa depth at around 90 cm but cool and appreciated in rooftop where there is a bar). Very clean and excellent helpful staff. Air conditioned and has a lift. Breakfast was great - not included in all bookings so check. We walked to hop on hop off bus main location in 15 mins but many could do it faster. Plenty for good restaurants nearby, market a few blocks away, convenience stores are 2 doors away and Pharmacy across street. Metro at door, plenty of cabs. We had a room facing the street on the 5th floor and in such a big city there is some noise but nothing that stops sleep. Eclectic place to stay We caught Euro bus ( cheap and efficient transfer from airport) and it was a 2 min walk from where they drop you off

You can’t take food upstairs to the rooftop ( or use the rooftop) after 9. The pool closes then but so does the seating area. We didn’t realize the seating area was off limits so had to eat in our room one night we didn’t want to go out.

The staffs are supper nice and helpful, we had a great experience there. Room services were available every day, toilet and bathroom were separated and clean. We didn't use breakfast there but overall everything was nice. The Internet connection was good also, but on the last day of our stay, we had some issues with the WIFI connection. We also extended our stay in Barcelona as the hotel was convenient and clean. The connection to the city center, Metro, restaurants, and shopping centers was great 👍

The design of the SOHO hotel is based on modern concepts, which I like but the lighting was a bit annoying after 6 nights of stay.

For this hotel I really liked the staff, the size of the rooms, how clean it was, the location and the really nice rooftop sitting area. The staff are amazing. Alessio, Roberto and Frederico are why I would recommend this place. Location: It is walking distance form Las Ramblas. There is a convenience store next door and a pharmacy, brunch spot and patisserie nearby. Room Very spacious and big. Amenities: There is a mini-fridge, tea and coffee, a kettle, hangers, some soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, robes, and room slippers. No toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap or cotton pads though. Facilities They do have breakfast in their restaurant, as well as a rooftop bar which was just lovely, The view was amazing, it was clean and well maintained and it had a small pool to be used. The hotel was so clean, it smelled clean. This isn't the most expensive hotel I have stayed in but I have never smelled a place so fresh and clean to be honest. It is also not the cheapest place I have stayed in and it lacked some of the toiletries usually given.

The noise and the light. Also, the doors and blinds that do not close. The street was so noisy with the traffic outside. Disruptive guests were also loud although the hotel itself was generally quiet. The blinds also do not close all the way down so if the noise didn't wake me, the light did (see pictures). The kettle also did not work. The rooms were large but the sofa needs to be re-upholstered. The doors also did not close all the way in the toilet so the bathroom area could only be used by one person at a time. They have a really nice shower, but it is open, so the water dripped out into the hallway which was just too much. See pictures for these.

I have never stayed at a hotel where the staff were so friendly, courteous, gracious, and helpful. They helped us understand how to use the metro system (which is perhaps 100 feet from the hotel entrance), gave us suggestions about things to do, and were wonderful to interact with. The breakfast was excellent and had a lot of options. We were able to walk (or take the metro) into the "gothic" quarter, which was fascinating.

Pickpockets are a big problem, and we had a phone stolen on the metro even after being warned by the hotel staff about them.

Great central location, very friendly and helpful staff, who made great recommendations for local restaurants. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. The small refrigerator was good for storing yogurt and cheese. The shower worked well, with plenty of hot water (although it did take a while on some mornings to reach the temperature). Hot water kettle useful for making coffee in the room.

Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the main street, the traffic noise was really noticable. There were only 3 plug sockets in the room plus one in the bathroom. Oddly no plug socket above the built in sideboard table where the hot water kettle was. Despite the generos room size, there were only 3 shelves and a clothes rail to hang and upack (not drawers for maller items like underwear and socks). The room finishes are a bit worn and tired (some stains on the seating upolstry, roller shades a bit frayed on the edges, various painting/ redecoration not done very well).

The hotel is in a great location, right next to a metro station but also a walkable distance to the centre. A nice modern vibe in the room, techy lights, very clean, staff are friendly, and we also loved the added touch of dressing gowns/slippers/bottle of champagne on ice on our arrival (special request for partners birthday). We felt it was good value for money:)

The noise was an issue for us on our last night, a couple in a neighbouring room were arguing from around 1am-6am in a very extreme way, bothering many others. Although, we did hear staff go and speak to the room in question at various times throughout the night. other than this, we couldn’t fault it:)
