The staff were friendly and brilliant. Bar and room service prices were reasonable for a hotel. Breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel. Starbucks was a great addition before check-out. Excellent shower with mood lighting.

£12 for parking was an additional cost. The hotel room was basic but fine for what we needed for one night. Small bathroom but the shower made up for this. Basic things like tea and coffee but no fridge, Iron and Iron boarding. TV worked fine. Cleanliness was ok (some hairs on both beds) The beds weren't very comfortable and narrow with hard pillows. It was warm but not unbearable and the noise was kept to a minimum. The hotel gym was small but adequate, the changing rooms and pool were tired (hot tub and sauna broken) The staff make up for any of the negatives though.

The chef behind the counter at breakfast time was soo kind and extremely helpful.. he made us veggy sausages because there were no halal options.. he made us a spicy omelette 😋 and even pancakes.. i wish i had gotten his name! It was Christmas day morning time around 8.30ish... thank you for making our morning so delightful! The facilities were open on Christmas day which was so good! We only booked this hotel because the kids love a good swim fun. The pool could have been a little more warmer but it was fine once u get use to it.. the jacuzzi was good the steam room could have been more hotter too? Overall its great for a three star! The only problem i had were the sofa beds.. they were not comfortable 😔 but it's nice that our room had a bath great for kids! Also the heater in the room was very handy too.

Food was very good, all staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were clean and clear of when we could and couldn't use them. We were very grateful for the free shuttle bus. Our son loved being able to see the planes take off from our room window and surprisingly they were not too noisey.

It would have been nice to eaither have extra towels for swimming or to have them readily available in the changing rooms. When parking at the bottom end of the car park (near the entrance to the car park) there was no clear path to get to the reception entrance.

We have stayed in a lot of hotels in a lot of places in the world. The service in this particular hotel is exemplary. Mo the F and B manager is in a class of his own. The house keeping - a mention in particular to Sami who attended our room - was exceptional. Sami went above and beyond to make us comfortable and actually made us feel like our room was our home. This is a fine example of how to do it in terms of excellence in all areas. We loved every moment of our stay. The staff are a credit to this venue and without those wonderful people it would have just been “a lovely stay”. As it is we are bowled over and so impressed by this excellent venue. Many happy memories. Thank you to all. This was our second stay and each time it has been perfect. 5 stars to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nothing. It is easy to reach. You can complain about the road but then you would complain about it being hard to reach. It’s beautifully presented. The refurb is lovely. It’s excellent.

Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast were great as was evening meal.

More choice for vegetarian options would have been good. There was a conference taking place on the day we left which was some kind of reunion for people with addictions. They were very noisy and inconsiderate to those of us trying to make there way out of the hotel., blocking doorways etc. I know you have no control of your guests but a bit of male muscle wouldn't have come amiss!! I pitied the poor duty manageress who was on crowd control in pouring rain and looking extremely harassed. added to the fact there were also families with young children waiting to transfer to the airport for there holiday who had to listen to some very choice swearing.!!! It was not a good image that Holiday Inn would want to foster!

Location was fine, just hard to reach the hotel without taxi or bus knowledge (from airport). Hotel's free bus to NEC (train station) was life saver. People were great. Overall the hotel was nice to stay in!

I asked in advance about paying cash in the hotel. I received confirmation that it's ok. In the hotel they told me that if I wanted to use cash I must pay in advance 50£ for each night additionally. There was no info about that before the travel (like I said, I asked in advance). I would love more vegetables for breakfast (had just tomatoes from a pan). For a person from outside of Britian it was hard to find an entrance to the hotel sadly (1 partial sidewalk and then just street and parking x.x )

Hotel was very nice...rooms were pretty big and spacious...rooms were tidied up everyday and were kept upto the mark. Toiletries were refilled everytime. All hotel staff use to greet us with a smile any time of the day we met them...very friendly staff...breakfast was very good...restaurant in the hotel was a plus point.

In terms of location wise it was a little out of place for us. It was quite further away from the city centre. Shuttle bus was provided by the hotel but still the distance was too much to travel back and forth. Traffic was a hindrance.

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Nice clean pool and jacuzzi was lovely and warm. It's a very lively hotel with funky events both nights we stayed, one being a rock music night and the other a big fashion party- our kids were intrigued. Good breakfast choices with fresh pancakes

Through no fault of theirs the coaches of teenage athletes that were staying were extremely noisy and chasing each other down corridors and banging on guests doors! The cleaners big storage room door was being banged continuously next to our suite so woke us from dawn and was very annoying, but after complaining it was better the second morning. When booking weeks before I requested our 3 rooms to be as close together as possible, but my nephew's room was 2 corridors away. Again at least it was rectified by the second night as the hotel manager was very accommodating. We felt sorry for him as he had a very tough time controlling the teenagers but was very polite and friendly.

I was booked into an accessible room, which was at an excellent standard. It was comfortable and spacious, easy to access, close to reception and included a shower chair. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, and the staff cleaning and refreshing the room each day left cheerful little notes, which were absolutely delightful. I've never felt so welcome at a hotelbefore.

There is a shuttle bus between the hotel and the NEC/railway station, which was very useful; however, it wasn't advertised in the hotel that the service doesn't make runs between 1800 and 1900 from the hotel, despite there beng advertised journeys. There was a sign up at the station pick-up point, but it took me two days to realise that the times were from the hotel, not from the station. This isn't a major problem, but if it'd been advertised at the hotel end of the journey, I would've made plans to accommodate the lack of a shuttle service from the station between 1815 and 1945.

We went with our dogs for Crufts dog show. It was fabulous that the hotel was SOOOOO dog friendly. It's a pleasure to stay at places that respect dog owners. Thank you Holiday Inn for thinking so highly of dog owners.

The bed base was bigger than the double mattress that was perched upon it, meaning you hit your shins on it when getting into our out of bed. That was odd. It would be better to have the correct size base for the mattress. Other than that, all was great.
