no frills clean great location and safe. need I say more.

my expectations were aligned with the property. it’s a budget hotel. if you want 5 star go pay for it!

It was a lovely hotel, staff were all really friendly. Was clean, bed were really comfortable.

The bathroom, wasn’t a separate room, the shower and sink were within the bedroom itself and the toilet was in a small separate room. This was fine, however the toilet door had a gap around 6inches big, and when using the toilet the smell would come into the bedroom as there was nothing stopping it. Haha

It was in a central location, a short walk away from all of the things I wanted to see. Rooms were nice, very well kept and all of the things I needed (shower, toilet etc) were in good working order. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and it's very reasonably priced as well.

The hotel is next to a very loud nightclub. This is alright when it's quiet, but if it's on a loud night then you can hear it until around 2.30AM, which is quite bad when you're trying to sleep. You can shut the windows, but on a hot night it can be uncomfortable.

The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had clean, comfortable beds, a place to wash and shower and we were within walking distance of the city centre. When we booked it earlier in the year we got it at a fair price.

There were two hot drinks machines that offered hot drinks 24hours a day, but there was only one that worked and it often didn't work properly for various reasons. The breakfast was self-service, but there was always something missing and people wanting something often had to ask the staff, wait for something to be brought out or go without it.

Excellent location...staff were brilliant...could not do enough...i asked for an ironing board and iron...they were delivered to our room.within 5 minutes...free coffee also available wen u need/want it...also a brilliant bar across the road and a thai restaurant....tesco shop is literally 5 min walk from the hotel if u need supplies...wetherspoons is also about a 5 min walk...i could go on and on about the postives of this hotel x

We stayed fri to mon...fri nite and sun nite gud nights sleep...saturday not so much as we were over looking a bar next door but the bar filthy mcnastys was brill....live music....if stayin ask for a room that does not overlook the bar next door x

The room was a good size. Staff were friendly. Check in and check out were very efficient. Very reasonable small charge for left luggage. Room seemed safe and secure and had pretty good air-conditioning. Easy to get to Lanyon Place railway station and to Queen's University Belfast.

A shower mat could have been provided for safety rather than simply noting that it was available at reception. Beyond the control of the hotel itself but the location (a student area during the start of the University term) was a little noisy. The hotel itself was quiet though and the room seemed safe and secure. Though more reasonable than many other options in Belfast at this time, it was still a bit pricey.

Tea and coffee for free all the day (and night). Situated in the very center, close to the main train/bus station (just 5 minutes walk) and to the university (15 minutes walk) and to the downtown (15 minutes walk). Very helpful staff. Hair dryer available at the desk.

One side of a bed lacking a night table/shelf. No hooks near the shower to hang your towels and clothes. You cannot open a window, so it is hard to put in some fresh air, you can only use air conditioning. The choice of food for breakfast quite limited; the only warm food is a toasted bread.

The location of the hotel is very good, right in the center and 5 minutes walk from the train station.Convenient for shopping,and eating.The staff was very helpful.Free tea and coffee at the front desk.Before the check in time,you can also have tea and wait here, also you can have free luggage storage.

As soon as I entered the room, there was a smell of smoke.It should have been left by the previous guests, although there was a no smoking sign at the door of the room.On the second day we opened the window and the smell of smoke went up after a whole day window opening.

Etap Hotel Belfast is located just 650 m/8 minutes walk south of Belfast City Hall. I was accommodated in a 3-bed room with a private bathroom overlooking the street. The room was cozy. Very nice staff worked at the reception. I had everything I needed in the room. Even though I was traveling alone, I had extra towels and washcloths available. Delicious breakfast, and I could make coffee and tea throughout the day.

I could only open the window to the width of my palm, but this hotel chain is known for not being able to open the window fully. The price seemed a little high to me, but it was the normal price in this location at this time of year.
