The location is great as we have family in Southampton. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, some staff at the bar were unable to understand English, and it was a long process to get a couple of drinks.

There was a lack of disabled parking places by the door, and at night we couldn't get a space although cars were parked there without blue badges. When I asked on arrival I hadn't been allocated a disabled access room the receptionist was lovely and said she would make that happen, 1st floor close to the lift but the room was OK but had a shower over the bath!!

Me and my daughter had 2 great nights at this hotel all the staff we had close contact with where great all polite and smiling apart from one but that's ok,10 out of 11 is excellent 1 won't spoil it for the rest,I've seen people leave rewies about the wait time for the food ,on both nights we went at 5pm and had are mains and dessert served and eaten before 6pm I had steak the first night and chicken the 2nd so can't fault the waiting time and the food was lovely, we loved the 2 days we had in the pool staff great both days, everyone in the pool was enjoying themselves smiles all around ,free car parking for the 2 nights was busy in the carpark

The price of a bottle of budweiser nearly the same as a pint of lager,they didn't have any draught lager I liked so had to pay nearly the same price for a bottle which is just over half a pint ,I personally thought the bed was a bit hard but everyone has there own bed comfort and you can't please everyone but it wouldn't stop me staying here again

I loved the friendly reception staff. The vibrant reception area and very filling breakfast buffet. Our room was comfortable and clean. I liked that the toiletries were full size and I think refillable. It was great to be able to take a morning swim, despite my comments below

Dirty and tired pool/spa area. I believe the reception and entrance were recently upgraded, please continue to the spa. I did report a shower cubicle that was full of long hair strands at 8am. Spa reception staff were great maybe they need to be better supported by domestic staff. Also I noticed a piece of litter in one of the lifts that was there for 12 hours or so. So I guess better cleaning would make thus hotel excellent. It was a busy bank holiday weekend, I know....

I would like to make special mention to the staff in the restaurant especially the young man who helped us with a really big party booking. He was on hand to support us throughout and made sure we had our food at the right time. We will be back again next year to stay and would love for him to get some recognition for this as it was a big group all arriving at different times

There are always areas we could improve - fridge in the room would be good as we are there for a long period and would like to keep chilled water / fruit in the room.

Staff were very accommodating. There was an issue with our booking so the room type we had booked was not available when we arrived. The lady at reception went out of her way to get us another room and then gave us a free dinner in the restaurant for the inconvenience, which was much appreciated. Restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. The guy at the pool reception was very friendly and helpful too. Very enjoyable stay. The kids loved the pool and play room. Very conveniently located for visiting Peppa Pig World. This was our second time staying and we would stay again

The hotel was clean and bright and very family friendly. From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and efficient from check-in, swimming at the leisure centre dinner and breakfast. The “Kids Inn” is also a great addition and children were well looked after generally with free meals and high chairs, plastic cutlery and plates ready at our table - it makes a huge difference when travelling with children to have these added extras. We were in a queen size room and they provided a cot which was set up when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and clean with a huge TV and big windows. It was an easy, stress-free stay. We would’t hesitate to book here when we visit the nearby theme park again.

Hotel has had a refurb and is looking great. Room was nicely furnished, bed very comfortable. Staff couldn't do enough for you, particularly Dominic behind the bar, what a friendly and personable young man! Nice touch from the chap at breakfast (I didn't get his name) to take pity on 3 adults with no kids and offer to let us have breakfast in the quiet zone away from the multitude of noisy families!

Nothing really, food and drink are still quite expensive but good quality just be prepared to pay £12 for breakfast regardless of what you have!

We had a wonderful stay. We were welcomed by the front desk and were allowed to go to our room straight away even though we were a little early. The room was large, clean, comfortable and spacious. We did not book in for breakfast as we were unsure about our timings. When we realised we did have time to have breakfast, the dining room was fully booked. We were however offered breakfast which we ate in the Quiet Room which was wonderful. The kitchen even catered for my Coeliac disease.

On our way to Dorset stayed overnight. Well located just off motorway clean and good facilities . Great staff free parking clean large well specd rooms

I suppose it’s difficult to complain about this as we have a child but the hotel was literally full of kids at the reception and the kids area. Wouldn’t recommend for business over holiday periods as the level of noise was excessive and any single parison or business person would battle for space noise and privacy

The staff were very friendly and helpful. This particular weekend was very busy because of the school half-term holiday and a gymnastics competition that was being held nearby. The staff were very patient! I also particularly enjoyed the breakfasts.

I didn't find our bedroom seating to be particularly comfortable. Perhaps some different seating would help. There wasn't much room at one of the bedsides. I would have like some more space there.
