The place was very clean and the Hotel have a great staff, they were very nice and friendly. We also liked the facilities and the breakfast, maybe is just me, I saw that was plenty of options like eggs, beans, bacon or sausages but to be honest, all of us hatted the eggs, it was very white, and I don't understand what kind of eggs these are(dry eggs powder?) but maybe is just us that don't appreciate the food, the point is that there was no cheese or ham, so basically we just eat butter and bacon the whole stay. The breakfast was great for the money, in my opinion they would also consider add Cheese and Ham.

Nothing in particular, the hair dryer was broken and about to put the place on fire when I turned on the first time and the light above the bed had some dirt on the light which also smells like burn when I turned on the first time... about the hair dryer, they offered me as solution to go to another room to dry the hair, so they made all they can to overcome this issue as they didn't had any spare hair dryer (built in the furniture in all rooms). The room also offers an iron to take any wrinkle from your cloth, and they even gave me some shave razors for free - I think the good things are much more than anything that was not that good.

The staff were incredible, so accommodating. We arrived far earlier than we had anticipated (we were lucky with traffic) the manager (who had just worked the night shift, gave us a complimentary coffee drink (he must had realised how exhausted we were, we paid for our other drinks), and he allowed us into one of the trims as it was ready. This made all the Difference to us, and we are still so grateful to him. Please pass on our gratitude

A customer was being served before us who did his best to complain about everything, wanting compensation. The staff night manager was incredible though out, so polite.

As the hotel is graded as Express, the breakfast buffet is of limited choice when comparing with other Holiday Inn hotels. But still nourishing anyway. The dining area is very bright thanks to huge windows along two cornered walls one facing the historic paper mill and its unusual modern footbridge over the canal. Staff were very friendly and ready to assist us when we had a minor problem with the tv in our room which was dealt real quickly.

We could not find anything faulty with this hotel of Express standard which we would return the next time we visit our son’s family.

Room was clean and in room amenities were good and available. The main mattress was ok, I would rate as spare room comfortable, not main room, or luxury (as with the "purple" hotel company). The breakfast was good and generous. The pub next door was great. Your website says not evening food available when there is an evening menu, so probably that needs amending. Was £50 p.p..p.n reasonable, I think £35-40 more value for money.

The shower pressure was somewhat disappointing, and the pull out bed - even with the 2 duvets that had been put on top of the mattress - was somewhat uncomfortable. See to the toaster, which wither did one side nice and the other pale or both sides burnt 😂.

Breakfast was good, great selection available and all freshly made and also kept hot. Room tidy and well presented. Not heard a noise from any other guests during our stay.

I didn’t notice a sign in the carpark showing where the entrance was from the carpark, almost ready to walk round to the front street to access building, a sign above the rear entrance would be good (don’t recall seeing one. Parking spaces a bit tight, I wouldn’t say I had a large car but not much space to open the doors to get out. Carpark also on a slight incline which makes it harder to get out the car depending on which way your car is facing so as not to ding the car next to you. Sat nav tried to take us into the street next to where the building actually is. Not really a major issue just slight recommendations

1) Location —( a stone’s throw from Apsley Station). —15-20mins walk from the Riverside Mall —abt 5-10mins walk to Sainsbury Supermarket —Peaceful! —Lovely canal views nearby —Church close 2)Standards similar to other Holiday Inn Express hotels. 3) The hotel (including rooms) kept very clean. 4) Friendly staff (and willing to assist. The first day I noted some missed dirt marks/stains and socks in our room but they were quick to sort it and also offered another room but gladly remained in same room as was getting sorted). 5) Breakfast is included I would consider staying here again if in the area. We spent Christmas at the hotel too.

1) The breakfast is alright. Dont expect a lot but you will be full enough :-) We ate everyday.

Location is amazing - we had 1 day at Harry Potter tour which is only a very short drive away and a day in London. Great that the station was literally across the road. After a couple of long days out it was also brilliant that there were nice places to eat a very short walk from the hotel and a supermarket just round the corner. Staff were all really friendly. Lobby areas were a lot nicer than I was expecting from the photos. Great that there was an ice machine.

The room for a family of 4 felt a little cramped, could have been bigger. Breakfast was good but perhaps a little more variety needed for people staying for more than a couple of nights.

The whole experience was great, the staff were amazing and very helpful, our room was lovely and clean and the cleaners done our room the following day, it was nice to go in and have the bed made and room looking nice after being out all day, the young woman on reception (didn't catch her name) 21 years old though we knew that bit she was fantastic we went to use the station opposite the hotel but as we're not from London we didn't have a clue and didn't dlfeel right travelling from the station so we went back to the hotel and asked the young lady for advice and she helped us with the directions for the whole weekend where to catch the train from & to and what station. Breakfast was good also not much hot food choice just sausage bacon scrambled egg and beans but you have got continental to if you like that. Definitely stay again.

Location was excellent for Harry Potter World. Breakfast was basic but well cooked and tasty as was tea the previous evening. Nice to have food allergies catered for too. Also nice to have range of hot drinks, speciality coffees and hot chocolate. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

We had to ask for a 4th towel even though we stated we were a party of 4 when we booked. Other than that, everything was very good.

The staff and the facilities were great. It had a nice cozy atmosphere . The back of the property faces a little riverside where you can go for a nice stroll. There is a lovely pub 1 minute walk from the hotel which does tasty meals if you wanted a change from the hotel.. The hotel itself is in a great location with the train station a 3 minute walk away.. The breakfast staff were very good. We would most definately consider staying here again.

If im being fussy , I would have loved an omelette. I requested one but unfortunately they were unable to do this.
