Perfect location, very nice staff at reception/in kitchen/at housekeeping, beautiful historical building. Good breakfast selection - some "shotis puri" would be nice.

WLAN for guests did not work, one had to use staff WLAN with signal very weak to non-existent; at least in my room. I am using this place since many years; with Covid it came under "Urban Hotels" chain. Regular prices now are far from reasonable and there is better value for money for those regular prices. Prices via booking App and the various discounts there lead to some 60% discount from the regular price and you end up with very good value for money again. Rooms could take some new painting.

Tekla Palace is perfectly situated in the Old Town of Tbilisi, in a beautiful, renovated historic building, close to most sights, yet in a quiet place, next to a wonderful park and you don't need to climb up the hill. It was a pleasure to be able to return even for a short rest during the day. Really, the best place in town. It is also pleasant to spend some time on the (shared) balcony. The staff is kind and very helpful.

It was my second time in Tekla Palace, because it was so good for the first time. However, I realised that you should NOT book the small rooms on the ground floor: they either overlook the square and you cannot really open the window, or the courtyard, which would be pleasant, except for the fact that they are right above the outside unit of the air-conditioning system, which switches on every 20-30 minutes and is as noisy as a tractor. Obviously, a good night's sleep is impossible. Not fair.

Tbilisi is a beautiful city, and we were lucky to have found this lovely hotel in a quiet street, across from a small park right in a central area. The room wasn't large but very comfortable and clean, and we especially liked the wonderful veranda, for common use, but with a little roped off area for each room. Friendly, helpful staff, and a good buffet breakfast in a (somewhat gloomy) semi-basement.

No issues, would stay again.

The building has a special atmosphere. It is close to the city centre. The bed was comfortable. Despite of the quite small room, there were wide shelves for the clothes.

The bathroom was stinky several times. The breakfast was fine, but the water for the tea was cold. The breakfast room was soaked at the first day, water poured from the ceiling.

Booked a room with extra cost which is next to balcony, however the balcony is for public use with no time limit. would definitely appreciate if the hotel sets a time on the usage of balcony as it is very noisy when people using the balcony and chatting till mid night, cant sleep well.

it’s amazing for its location and exclusion. one street away from all the attractions in the old city but away from its noise. totally recommend it if you like to sleep in peace away from the street noise but still be i. close proximity from most of the old town

there were minor things but honestly didn’t ruin the trip extremely. the AC was stuck on 18 C but I didn’t manage to communicate it to the receptionist due to our busy schedule

This is an incredible, historic building in a superb location. The home itself is gorgeous! The staff is very kind, and the concierges are very patient and friendly. the cleaners tidied my room every day, and the facilities are very clean.

It is historical, and when it comes to authenticity, you must prepare for walls that are not as sound-proof or rooms as large as with more modern hotels; still there is a charm that more modern hotels cannot replicate, so I would recommend overall.

The staff were very friendly. My special thanks to David who made my check-in process a lot easier which was needed after a long road trip from Armenia. The property itself was a work of art and has hundreds of years of history - plus it was super clean and was brilliantly located in the heart of Tbilisi. The breakfast was decent!

Noise travelled in the hotel (not a surprise given you're in an old wooden building). Not a big deal though assuming fellow guests are not the party type.

Central Location, polite and well English speaking Staff, breakfast was very good. soundproof was ideal. try to get rooms on Second Floor there is very beautiful common Balcony, Many thanks to Breakfast Staff Sofia and Elene. housekeepers are working very quiet and not disturbing you.

Historic building in area with plenty of different attractions to walk to. Breakfast included too.

Somewhat rough around the edges - compared to new construction hotels in the area.
