The Hotel rooms were clean. Breakfast was good . The reception people were very kind and supportive, especially Irenya.Metro station just 50 m from Hotel .

As I found the manager turned off the heating system at night which is quite strange. So if you wake up at midnight you feel freezing . So due to this reason, I got a very bad cold and when I was supposed to go and visit the electronica show at Munich I had to stay at the hotel and take a rest. My message to the manager is my friend for saving a few pennies you are playing with the health of people please don't do this. It was not for one room because me and my colleagues tried 3 rooms and all of them had the same story. The interesting thing was during the day when people were awake they turned on the heating system and people thought the heating system was working !!!!!!!!!

Staff in the kitchen were friendly & warm. Communication in English was a challenge but with gestures they understand what you want, they try to go the extra mile. Food options are limited so even if breakfast is included, you are not spoilt for choices.

In one of the rooms, heating was not working properly the first night. Upon enquiring, they could only offer blankets but that we were told we had to fetch from the reception. We tried to turn the heating lever and it started to work so we managed. Next day the reception complained to us that we did not go to fetch the blankets and when we offered our explanation, the lady was still a bit rude claiming she had to leave the reception unmanned to get the blankets and they were lying at the reception overnight. I doubt that she had to go miles to get the blankets. We even suggested she could have called the room but that was not a practice they follow. We were a bit taken aback by this kind of rudeness.

I’m extremely satisfied with this hotel. I arrived at Munich late night and got to the hotel at 10:30pm. But Jonathan who is the nicest guy and who can speak English as native language made my day. Pleasant conversation with him and the information he gave me, everything was great. And their breakfast is excellent as you can see the picture. But somehow the price is reasonable, which is good for us. Thank you for everything. I will definitely come back here if I have any chance to visit Munich again!

Our stay in hotel Brack was terrific! Everything was excellent, much better than we expected! The location couldn't be more convenient, the metro station is outside the building, only 3 stops from Marienplatz. The staff was excellent, very friendly, polite, helpful always with a smile. The breakfast was very good, just cooked eggs, fresh fruits and juice and a really good and strong coffee! The room was very clean and comfortable. I recommend hotel Brack, it is better than shows in the pictures!

Even though the hotel is on a busy street when you close the shutter and window the room is silent. The Pocc U5/6 is within a reasonable distance that any other form of transport isn't needed. Keep going past the Ubahn and there are two grocery stores with good food and on your way back the Gelato place is a must.

What I didn't like wasn't particularly about the hotel but more the city. Food availability in the immediate area for quick bites or solo dinners were not easy to come by if you wanted anything other than Mediterranean and Curry.

Not being a very good buffet breakfast person, the one offered in the hotel was perfect. As mentioned in others review, the furniture may be old but in perfect condition, is "old good quality", not cheap! Staff was very frendly.

This is not really a negative point for the hotel, but if you travel by car, it may get really difficult to find a parking spot. Like many other old buildings in the area, the hotel doesn't have too many parking lots and parking in the road may get complicated.

EVERYTHING. Lovely staff. Breakfast included. Old German charm. A block from Oktoberfest. I had to find a place close, as our other hotel was booked our last night. Right close & 100 euros less; Hotel Brack was exceptional find! The gentleman who worked the desk was wonderful, kind & funny. I will stay here next year!

No a/c …. But then most in Germany do not have. There were oscillating fans that kept the room cool. We had unusually warm weather, but I was not in this hotel those nights. Our stay & temperature was fine.

The Hotel is located on Lindwurmstr cross with Pccistr which makes it 2 km fro Marienplatz. It has a U-Bahn station (U3) on the sidewalk approx 15 m from the entrance. The hotel is a bit dated but very clean and the sheets and mattrases are new and very comfortable. Breakfast is not a bufet but is nice with very friendly staff. Staff in general is very helpful and friendly.

Furnishings are a bit dated.

An excellent hotel in Munich. A very kind hospitality and warm friendship from welcome to goodbye. A comfortable, clean, well decorated room . A wonderful breakfast. Metro station is right in front of the hotel. It was our second stay at the hotel. We look forward to going again. Many thanks to Hotel Brack’s people for their wonderful hospitality.
