I like that the villa has a great historical context. You can have breakfast either in your suite, garden or the balcony. I mostly had mine on the balcony as you then get the sea view. What a lovely way to have your breakfast. The staff were very very helpful. I was a solo traveller and they were all extremely helpful special shout out to Amy ☺️in fact special shout out to all staff sorry I do not recall their names. They were all brilliant. The villa is not too far from the town centre if you can manage the walk in the heat should take you about 20 mins or the local bus runs every,20 mins of course there is the taxi but that cost will start to mount up. The people are great, the food is great I felt safe walking around in the evenings

My only little gripe is there are a few stairs to get into the villa. I struggled to lift my suitcase up the stairs but got help from staff members once I got inside the villa. But as mentioned due to the historical context of the building there would not be any lifts. That did not take away from the great time that I had there and I will return.👏🏾☺️

Beautiful garden and pool area, very relaxing . In a pretty area and located out of the main area, but is right on a busy road. Property was stunning. The staff were amazing, friendly and made us feel very special. It was my husbands birthday and the team organised a cake for him, which I was so pleased about. Out rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast on the shared balcony was really nice. Thank you villa team .

I assumed each room had their own balcony, which I miss read upon booking but that did not matter as the garden is so beautiful and peaceful we used that in the evening to play cards and have drinks and dinner. Even though the property was full, it didn’t feel like that.

Our stay at Villa Andromeda was impeccable. The room was cozy and stylish, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the amenities were top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff truly made our stay exceptional. Their genuine warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile set them apart from any hotel staff we’ve encountered before. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with smiles and made us feel like valued guests. They were always eager to assist with any request, no matter how small, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

Location is a fair distance from the older part of Chania. If you like peace and quiet, as we do, then it’s ideal. If you want to be more in the thick of things, then you might want to stay closer to the older part of Chania. This is a gorgeous hotel with a lovely view of the coastline. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Breakfast is served daily on the beautiful balcony overlooking the water. The rooms are extremely spacious.

Only the shower was a bit cumbersome because we had to use a hand held shower spout. Additional bars of soap would have been helpful.

Love the views from the balcony and the peace in the garden. Swimming pool is lovely and refreshing. Spacious and very clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Some very nice restaurants closeby. 15 minute walk from Chania center.

Nothing really. Two thoughts: the system for breakfast can be updated: you write down what you want but don't really know what are the options. Second: the pool is (very) deep so less suitable for relaxing at the sides or for younger kids.

The people working here are AMAZING! They were so kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to help us figure out how to navigate our travel days with a baby. We cannot recommend the staff enough! We love them! The breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach was also hard to beat.

Just be aware that the walk into old town is about 30 minutes. There is a route along the water that is nice. It just takes a little while to get there.

There were lovely touches that made this a gem of our trip. Fresh flowers, an assortment of fruit, and a small bottle of wine were in our room when we arrived. The staff was warm and welcoming, and went the extra mile to show us how to access the private parking lot and then walk us to our room. We had an early morning excursion and needed to leave before breakfast so the staff delivered breakfast options the night before, which was incredibly thoughtful and useful for our full day hike. The following day we had breakfast on the terrace and the view was stunning. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Great, quiet hotel in a perfect, historic location - also within a walking distance (15-20 mins.) to Chania's old town. Spacious rooms and delicious breakfasts served according to your wishes either in the room, in the garden or on the terrace. The pool in the garden makes a great retreat in the hottest day hours and to chill out in the evening. And of course the most kind and helpful staff... Thank you for a wonderful stay! Definitely worth coming back.

The hotel is beautiful and peacefull with just a few guests at a time. The breakfast is amazing, you can select where to have it, at what time and with what ever treats you desire. The pool is a must in the hot weather, and the pool area is very nice. The best thing about this hotel, though, is the amazingly friendly staff who with their hospitality, helpful tips and kind behaviour which made our trip perfect. Thank you so much!

Absolutely no complaints

Breakfast was a particular highlight, and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Andromeda for a quiet, relaxing stay in refined surroundings.

We were disappointed we couldn't get the BBC on cable channel not that we watch my TV when on holiday. The pool is a fantastic amenity but for those who are not particularly fit, getting in and out of it was a challenge. The villa needs more rungs on the ladder in and out of the pool. It struck us that table tennis would be a good, fun addition as here is plenty of room in the grounds and it wouldn't be too disruptive. We loved the villa cats but may be worth highlighting for those with allergies to pet fur. There are some fantastic restaurants on the doorstep. Blue, just down the road, was a particular favorite.
