The Hotel was excellent, as was the service levels and attention to details. The Hotel was equipped with modern and luxurious furnishings and fittings. The rooms and breakfast were first class [as was the restaurant in the evenings]. The hotel is situated outside of the old port area but close enough to walk easily, with many restaurants enroute. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. they even managed to answer all of my many queries [about things to do and go]. All of us loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Thank you for making out stay so enjoyable.

- The room was lovely, very big with amazing views of the sea. The curtains are electric so you can wake up to these fabulous views at a click of a button. - The staff were all very friendly and helpful, with there being a couple of occasions of them personally driving us to places when taxis were taking too long - Complementary bottle of Prosecco on our first day - Great choice at breakfast with meals made to order plus a buffet selection - Probably one of the nicest hotels in the old town area - Modern and clean - Seafront restaurant right on the doorstep

- Location is set back a bit from the busy part of the old town (about 20 minute walk) - The nearest beach with sun loungers and space was about a 45 minute walk or you would have to hire a taxi / drive

We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Staff, especially Sylvia, were very kind and very helpful. They even managed to organize a cake and candle for his birthday at midnight. All in all, extremely good service. Have not seen a more helpful and accommodating staff. Will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and very luxurious stay. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice, not enough stomach! The view from our room was out of this world.

It was a bit difficult to find, perhaps some signage would have been helpful. However, that being said, a lot of it is out of the hotel's control. The façade is unassuming and this is what threw me off a bit. I think it is definitely easier to access with a car.

We loved our stay at The Tanneries Hotel. The building is tastefully refurbished and exemplifies understated elegance. The room was spacious and had an amazing sea view. There is a generous breakfast selection which you can enjoy while sitting near the water. Staff were helpful and accommodating.

The Tanneries is a hidden gem in Chania. The hotel is located at the waterfront, boasting amazing views and offering a whole new class of experience. The design is unique and all details are carefully taken care of. The rooms are spacious, elegant & cozy with amenities which exceeded our expectations (steam shower, super comfortable bed, huge bathroom). Don't miss to visit the restaurant & the wellness center; they are both definitely one of a kind! All staff at the front desk, spa and restaurant went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Overall highly recommended both for a winter city trip and summer vacations.

I can't really think of anything. Parking might be challenging at peak times but the hotel has a solution for this too, which we didn't need to try.

Everything about our 7 night stay was wonderful. Chania as a destination is a must, there is so much to see and do. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach front full of trendy bars and restaurants. 10-15 minutes further for the old Town. Personally we loved the location and didn’t even have a car - we enjoyed walking and just got taxi’s to the beach/ winery’s on odd days. I cannot fault this hotel at all and wish we were there for longer! Thank you Tanneries

The only thing I would change is having a bar open/ access to cocktails during the day. However, I did order via room service when getting ready which was lovely

The hotel was amazing. The sea view was breath taking. The staff was exceptional....very attentive and helpful. They were always available to assist with recommendations, reservations, you name it! I loved the location and it was only a 5 min cab ride to the main tourist area which only cost about 5 euros. It was well worth the serenity and the amazing sea view. The hotel is new and tastefully done, while very minimalistic.....which I loved. I looked at other hotels but I am so glad I chose the Tanneries Hotel and Spa. When I visit Crete again I will definitely stay again.

Hotel is amazing, opened just last October. Hotel features beautiful industrial design and it's worth visiting just for the architecture alone. Rooms are nice, comfy, spacious and clean. The staff is just amazing. They were really helpful and managed to make our stay ultra pleasant. We already decided to stay there again next year. Just make sure to book a room with balcony and your stay will be perfect.

Everything about this hotel is magical. First, the view of our room was just insane, right in front of the sea, we can hear the sound of the waves everyday. The decoration is minimalist and luxurious. We loved the pool, the restaurants and their view. Our room was equipped with hamam, so good to relax. Staff was excellent, very kind, professional and very helpful. They gave us many recommandation for restaurants, location to visit, and even helped us organise our hiking in Samaria. Breakfast was so delicious, with a small buffet and a menu. All products are fresh, with high quality. It was one of the best hotels I have visited yet. Would definitely come back and recommend it to enjoy a magic and unforgettable stay at Chania. (Chania is also very beautiful to visit ofc)

Delicious breakfast and dinner in a beautiful surrounding. Stunning property with an exquisite modern interior design, our room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. The view from the balcony makes you feel relaxed and puts you in holiday mood from the minute you walk in. Professional, friendly staff led by the General Manager is willing to go an extra mile to assist guests. SPA treatment is just an extra touch you need to finish off the experience. We will definitely be back.
