This is my favorite hotel in Firenze. The location is excellent. The most important aspect of the Gallery Art Hotel is the service, atmosphere, cleanliness, housekeeping and the general ambiance. You just can't go wrong. I have been visiting this beautiful city for 40 years. Imagine!! I have seen many changes in hospitality, some are good and some harken to traditions of days gone by which lent a lovely patina to the ambiance of the city. The Gallery Art Hotel knows just how to bridge the old with the new. As an aside, if you have any circumstance pop up that requires assistance, the front desk and staff will gladly assist. Just a great hotel. It's my hotel for any visit to this fascinating city.

I know Italians and many others like sushi but I prefer to eat the local cuisine when I travel, consequently we did not eat at your hotel restaurant.

Location was excellent if you want to be at the center of everything. Amazing staff went beyond and above my expectations. They were very responsive to our needs. They didn’t make you wait. They also offered to make all of our dinner reservations without any hesitations. Hotel is very clean and classy.

Service was too exceptional that I cannot think of anything that I didn’t like about the property. This is a 5 star hotel.

There are many aspects to like about this hotel. The location is absolutely central for the exploration of the city. The breakfast is varied and good with table service for coffee/tea. All very efficient. I particularly liked the fresh squeezed juices. The towels and robes are ample with good housekeeping. Beds comfy with plenty of pillows. Sundries provided, good hair dryer. Nice lighted closets. The public spaces are very serene. I particularly enjoy the library with all of it's seating. The attached bar is really nice with a lovely wait-staff. It's all good here. You can't go wrong.

I had some connectivity issues in my room for internet and I also had a difficult time with the temperature control. The housekeeping and management tried very hard to remedy this. When I asked, they got right on it but it did take a couple of attempts to remedy. Something must have been "off" about my room. It was just a bit frustrating in the evening when I actually needed to be connected. All of this said, the staff were each and all very accommodating and apologetic. So the silver lining is that you will have great interface if something does go awry.

The hotel is located in the heart of Florence one minute from the Ponte Vecchio and not far from major attractions. You’re in the city surrounded by buildings of a similar size so view is restricted. From our sixth floor balcony we could see a small section of the Arno and the Bridge. Room was good; bed was comfortable and breakfast in the library eating area offered an often-replenished variety. One is paying for an excellent location in a fine city hotel.

Small, qiuet hotel, extremly well located on few steps from Ponte Vecchio. Very professional, friendly and welcoming staff ready to help with everything even if you don’t ask. I want to thank Filippo at recepcion desk, but also to all people who work in hotel.

Rooms are charming but should be renovated. When entered room we could smell a strange smelt, even everything was spotlessly clean.

Great location by Ponte vecchio in a little tucked away cul de sac from the crowds. We were fortunate to stay in a corner room peaking at the Uffizi tower from one and the Bell tower from the other. The hotel has a comfortable lounge to relax. The best was the concierge gave us some so recommendations of and cafe’s and restaurants if we couldn’t secure a booking and all were delicious.

For the price I was disappointed. Room was clean and good size but no view. Florence has become too crowded to ever go back. Used to love that city. Now it’s way too busy.

Less expensive (not likely to change with so much demand)

Nothing about the property, it can only be expensive to stay during high season.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful indeed. From helping changing the room before arrival to booking tickets for the Opera. Felt totally at ease. The style was perfect for an Italian modern design. Very comfortable and loved the art/photography on display. The location was fantastic for all attractions and the convenience of the roof top bar with great views exceeded expectations.

The only element which made sleeping very difficult was that the heating was on all night and the air conditioning did not work. When opened windows we were bitten by mosquitoes.
