Hilton Aberdeen TECA

Staff were very helpful and friendly at reception. We even managed to check in early which was great as we were only staying for 1 night and wished to use the spa facilities which we did and were very good. The rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfy! We went for a double Queen room. The restaurant was nice and staff again were very attentive. I ordered a sirloin steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. 2 drinks and dessert and I felt that it was excellent value for money with the quality of the food being as good as it was, breakfast had the best variety I have seen for a hotel breakfast and everything kept nice and warm with nothing running low.Me and my partner stayed here previously as we were going to a gig at the p+j live and enjoyed our stay and this time I was with friends, again for the same reason but I enjoyed it even more as I got the use out of the spa facilities. Will definitely be back, cannot fault it at all.

I like the Cleanness and breakfast, I did not get to explore or rather experience all facilities in the health spa. The rooms are quite spacious and well presented. I was quite taken by the the structural area around the pool, and loved the Jacuzzi, the heated relaxing beds are also a bonus.

The front of the building is just a car park. At the back of the building, It feels more industrial when you look outside the surrounding area. Maybe create a mini garden at the back and front. Personally I feel that the location is only good for flyers. I am not sure what else is available nearby.

The hotel was fantastic, very nice and clean, staff were very attentive to all the customers needs and made our stay at the hotel really good, excellent customer service. Breakfast was really good and the food on offer was great, there was alot of variety.

We ordered room service the very first day as we arrived late at the hotel so late night tea in the restaurant wasn't an option, room service was very expensive, we spent £13 on Pizza plus £5 for the room service, pizza arrived cold and my partner couldn't eat it, we were a bit disappointed in this because everything else about the hotel was excellent.

This Hilton is exceptionally useful for the P&J Live event space. Literally just round the corner. Was a great vibe coming back with the the busker and crowd singing and into the bar for a night cap. Staff are really lovely which makes the hotel really. The rest is standard Hilton available in identikit all round the world. Good bathroom and air conditioning. Easy parking underneath the buildings. Very quiet surroundings. Way out of town. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff in the restaurant are really lovely. We had an early dinner (4.30 pm for doors open at 6pm) from the limited event menu, which made us nervous but apart from being very expensive, was excellent. We will definitely look out for concerts at this venue again. It was all really easy and enjoyable. Airport next door too.

Identikit Hilton vibe, but brand new so most things work. That makes it sort of good and bad. You know what you are getting and there are no surprises. The only thing that changes are the prices on event nights. Bed was a bit solid but we had two doubles in the room (Not sure why. We tried to imagine which group would use this combination??) so lots of spread out space. The "cooler" fridge did not work. Water is only given if you book executive rooms! Otherwise you have to ask at the bar for water and ice. Underground parking is charged at £5 per day and there is no choice of anywhere else to park. We booked on Booking.com and would not do that again. We had to book two nights because it was a venue night. Twice the price on a venue night.

Booked this hotel as we were going to a show so location was perfect. Room was good size and very clean. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel with good choices on both occasions. Food was good and quick to arrive which was ideal as we ate before going to the show. All staff encountered were friendly and polite. Executive lounge was great, with the staff here especially attentive. Good choice of drinks and snacks.

The noise from the room beside us. Loud chatting from the guests till the early hours. This is no fault of the hotel, just unfortunate we get the noisy neighbours

Locality to P&J Live Arena

Was told on arrival that the restaurant was fully booked but we could have food in the bar - stood in a queue for bar - 1 person working behind it - once it became my turn to be served I was told the chef was overwhelmed and no more orders were being taken for some time!! We had travelled over 4 hours to get to this hotel from John O’ Groats with only a cup of tea & slice of cake to suffice us till our dinner ……very disgusted that the hotel, knowing they were going to be at full capacity because of the concert next door, did not have extra staff on especially a chef!

The style and decor of this property was first class. Exceptionally clean throughout. The restaurant staff were very friendly.

I just wish some of the reception staff were friendlier and smiled. The biggest complaint I have was the lack of vegan choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I stayed for 3 nights and the vegan lunch and dinner choices were restricted to a choice of hummus and a superfood salad - not an ideal choice in the winter when a hot meal would have been better. At breakfast there were no vegan sausages available (they had just ‘run out’). So I was charged £15.95 for breakfast which seems very steep. I plan to write a letter of complaint to Hilton.

We visited for an event next door. We loved the easy check in, the early check in, being able to book our table for dinner even though we were late. Food was outstanding!! Service was great too! Slight mix up with our drinks order at one point, but they fixed it quickly. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice! Nice fresh butteries which were amazing!

Not being told before arrival that its a payment by card only hotel. Finding the menus online was hard, I had to email but they got back to me very quickly. Breakfast related, there was no chef there to cook your eggs to order, plates were running low, machine for tea wasn't kept on top of.

It’s a very nice property with everything you could need. We were there for an event at TECA so the location being so close was perfect. Everything was very clean and the rooms are a high standard, very spacious and nicely decorated.

The room temperature was very hot and it isn’t even into summer yet. The aircon only works when you are in the room. The drink selection at the bar could have more. The additonal £5 parking charge seems unnecessary when the room prices aren’t exactly cheap. The breakfast rate is also steep at £15pp

The interior materials were plush. Room consumables were adequate. The bed was on point and the pillows needs special mention. They are the best I've met in my travels.

The walk in shower is not practical at all. It allowed flooding of the bathroom floor. Maybe wetroom could have been better in this case. For a family room, one chair was a bit stingy
