Superb location for the racing right on the course. I spent the little extra on room with race course view , wouldn't waste the money on that again , it was overlooking the parade ring but didn't have that wow factor that I thought would come with the extra charge, although the room was lovely there was big plaster scrape on wall and along the walls in places throught the corridors from lift and the bath had brown dirty mark inside we thought was from the last person had been disgusting leaving it , but with tissue in hand we found out it was more of a burn mark so little light relief. On a good note all the staff were lovely n polite nothing too much trouble ( even at the race course) and the breakfast choice was amazing . Would we stay there again ... most definitely but wouldn't spend the extra on the room with view

Just needed that bit of tlc on the decor and walls touching up in places

Location was good, parking good, racecourse was something different. My wife was up early and staff let her run a 5k round the track! :-D Room was good, evening meal was great, ordered at bar and phoned in room when ready and taken back to room as we had young child who was asleep. Breakfast good. Staff very friendly and helpful as always at Holiday Inn.

Could have been a bit more efficient at checking in. As nice as it is to chat, most people just want to get to their room as quick as possible after travelling. Let the customer chat first. Slight mistake when ordering food.

Great hotel, good location, bed very comfy, bar area very nice (drinks a little expensive but to be expected). Breakfast was good and there was a decent range of food available, there were no vegetarian sausages on the menu but there may have been some available if I’d asked, hash browns a little soggy. Parking was free and plentiful, overall I was very pleasantly surprised! Couple of little niggles, the TV didn’t seem to work but we didn’t report it as we weren’t there long and the bathroom gets very steamy when in the shower.

on the racecourse so ideal for our trip. Staff very helpful and cheerful,which always helps. loads of parking on site. Room was clean and well equipped,shower and bathroom were good. Food in the restaurant was nice and the breakfast was decent. 10 minutes into town £6 by taxi. Wouldn’t say it was cheap and prices seem to increase as the year goes on to a point where it would be off putting. Bar is nice ,good cider ! Enjoyable stay.

Staff were fantastic. Really polite but also funny and bubbly. After a long day it was such a pleasure to meet staff that were so warm and friendly and chatty. Thanks so much. We had a really good evening with brilliant service. Food was lovely and hot. The cleaner in the morning came running after me after I left my phone in the room and helped me look for my car keys. So thanks to her and all the staff.

It was great and will definitely stay again. My boyfriend said he wished there was more choice in lagers was the only 'negative' comment.

Location was ideal for our trip to the races, all staff extremely helpful and friendly Good breakfast choices, comfortable bed , free Wi-Fi , peaceful nights sleep. Ability to open windows to let in fresh air as it was very hot was a bonus

A walk in shower as my husband has mobility issues and is unable to climb into a bath A couple of biscuits added to the tea and coffee tray would be nice

The location was good and easy to get taxi into town. it was very frosty but all the areas outside has been gritted to help prevent any falls. Room has air con, kettle and supplies, iron & ironing board. Beds comfortable with a choice of pillows

I had booked a twin room but someone at the hotel changed it to a double room earlier in the day. luckily the guy on reception was very helpful and managed to change it back. Lift very slow. No immediately visible signs tree bar opening hours

We stayed for 1 night as we were attending a function nearby. The property is exactly what we were looking for. Rooms and all common areas were clean. Although the shower was in the bath it was really powerful. Not that I needed a view because we were in and out but I am sure it could be nice for guests staying for that reason. What stood out most for me was the friendliness of the staff. They were all so helpful. A special mention to the Duty Manager on Friday evening who did our check in and served us some drinks. There was also a very friendly lady serving Breakfast that I saw really go out of her way for some of the guests. Well done to the Management of this property and their team!

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, we had a fantastic stay in every way! My daughter was fussed over by everyone, which she loved! I would not think twice about coming back to this hotel if we are coming back to Wolverhampton!

When we came down for breakfast, there was not much left when it came to pastries, but there was so much other choice that it was not really a problem!

I booked a room with a view over the parade ring to enjoy the atmosphere of the racing. Room was clean and tidy as expected. Comfy bed and a choice of pillows if you wished. Reception staff were very friendly and attentive and made you feel very welcome and a nice easy check in.

One panel of the window the double glazing seal broken and it was hard to see out of as moisture had built up so the room with a view was slightly disappointing as only could see clearly through one side of the window. Room 113. Booked the stay for my husbands birthday and wanted to order a bottle in the room for our arrival but was told this wasn't possible to arrange.
