Honestly we were pretty dead from the long flight when we arrived, so I have little memory of the actual room :D But the hotel was perfectly located 5 min walk from Shin Osaka, enabling you to come directly from the airport. We were able to leave our bags before checkin at 3 pm, and the following day as well. The lounge available for customers downstairs is very appreciated, as there is a microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine and flavoured water all available. We actually had a quick pot noodle here before leaving. As mentioned, no specific memory of the room, so it must have been as expected :) We ate at a restaurant in the same street at the hotel, there weren't many options for lunch but it was good!

The neighbourhood is very quiet, during the day and during the evening. There are not many restaurants or shops in the immediate surronudings, but a few streets away there are some ramen restaurants.

The location of the hotel was excellent for exploring Osaka and the surrounding area. It was in a quiet back street only a few minutes walk from Shin-Osaka station which made it very easy to get there from the airport and to get the metro to explore Osaka. We took the bullet train from there to Kyoto one day which was very cheap, fast and an amazing experience Staff were super polite and friendly. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of Japanese foods which we enjoyed trying. There were always eggs, fruit and yoghurt if you weren’t feeling adventurous! Luggage storage was available in the reception area on our final day which was really useful and saved us dragging our suitcases around the city as we had a late flight. Finally, it was very good value for money given its central location and facilities.

There was nothing not to like really. The room was smallish but large by Japanese standards. It’s worth noting that one side of the bed was close against the wall if you have mobility problems but we didn’t find it a problem. And there wasn’t a huge amount of storage for clothes etc.

Very good value for money. Just minutes from the Central Gate of Shin Osaka Station. (You want exit 6). Hearty breakfast buffet. Library/breakfast room open all day - a useful space with free hot drinks and a microwave. Staff always helpful.

Terrible pillows - but we asked for additional ones, which slightly improved the situation. Breakfast does get very crowded. The location is pretty blah - nothing much in the area - but just use the station to get wherever you want to go. The station itself also has lots of shops and food places as is typical.

Best part about this place was certainly the free breakfast - it consisted of a reasonably extensive buffet and was filling enough that we often didn't need lunch, which saved us money. The library/cafe area was comfortable and relaxing. The check-in and check-out procedure using the machines was novel but not bad, and the staff helped us out with it. Very handy location being so near to Shin-Osaka train station. Plenty of restaurant options in walking distance.

It was great that there was a coffee machine available to guests, but a little odd that it wasn't available 24 hours, given that it required no input from staff to use. As per usual in Japan, rooms were very small and there was little space to open luggage.

The location of this hotel is a 7 minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station. Perfect if you are travelling by train. The rooms were clean, roomy and air-conditioned. If you are tall like me(1.86m) the bathroom can be a deal breaker in Japan. This bathroom had a higher ceiling so I didn't have to crouch to wash my hair! Breakfast was diverse, with sweet and savory options. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Osaka!!

The pillows. Of course this is depending on your preference. I like thick, soft pillows and unfortunately the pillows were flat which made sleeping very uncomfortable for me.

This was the most affordable hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan and it is definitely the best value for your money! It was less than a 10 minute walk from Shin-Osaka station, so perfect for all of the traveling we did while in Osaka. There were also tons of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We also loved the included breakfast, so many delicious options! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean--we would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The beds and pillows weren't the softest, but they did allow you to request more pillows and a foot pillow if you needed it! Our rooms were also facing the train tracks, which didn't bother me at all because I could barely hear them going by, but for someone who is a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, it is something to be aware of!

I didn't have breakfast much as I was up and about earlier than 6:30 for most of the days there. However, the location was great - easy access to Shin-Osaka train station in a 5 minute walk on the Midosuji Subway line, which lets you get to key train stations like Namba and Umeda within the city centre for attractions like Dotonbori and the Umeda Sky Building. Shin-Osaka train station is also well-positioned for the JR lines across Japan, allowing for day trips to places like Kyoto and Hiroshima.

The only thing I did not like is the lack of gym facilities, but this was an oversight when booking. If a lack of a gym or pool doesn't bother you, then this place is perfect.

The staff are really friendly here, while we were prohibited to check in earlier the staff offered us to keep the luggage and enjoy some welcome drink before checking in later. It's located within walking distance to Shin-Osaka station, which houses the Shinkansen. Though must be noted that there aren't a lot to enjoy in Shin-Osaka and most trains in Osaka circulates around the Osaka or Umeda station in the middle of the city instead, which is about one stop from Shin-Osaka. The room is really spacious though. There's also lots of plugs and USB ports to use in the room. Breakfast are included in the price and tastes okay. For the price and value that this hotel offers, I think it's good. If you're okay with staying in Shin-Osaka instead of somewhere in the middle of Osaka then this place is recommendable.

The hotel lobby felt a little cramped, and you need to take your amenities on the lobby. You might need to pay some small additional fee on the spot due to Osaka's taxation policy. The laundry monitor in the TV wasn't working correctly on my end, and there's only 3 laundry machine for the whole hotel. Also, check out time is a little bit earlier at 10 am.

The hotel's convenient location within walking distance from Shin-Osaka station, along with the adequately sized room for a one-night stay and satisfactory amenities, made for a pleasant experience, further enhanced by the enjoyable complimentary breakfast.

While overall the stay at the hotel was pleasant, but there were a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The occasional noise from passing trains, the hotel's location in a dark alley, and the small lobby were minor inconveniences. Additionally, the self check-in process with the automated machine proved to be a bit complicated, and the breakfast ending at 9:00 am was slightly inconvenient.
