The hostel is just 10 minutes on foot from the Shin Osaka station. The place is outstandingly managed, and the staff is always keen on giving you a hand. Although there was a bit of a language barrier, they bent over backwards to find a way to communicate with me, which I really appreciate. The rooms were big and comfortable; there were lockers in the room, and each room had a lock on the door. After a long day of sightseeing around the city, I enjoyed the large bathroom at night.

I have no complaints about the place.

Every spot was clean and tidy. The staff is very organized and attentive. The bath was the best. The hotel is located in a convenient location, and easy to access to public transport. They allowed us to store our luggage before our checking hour.

The time for entering the hotel every day was until 12 pm and leaving at 5:45 am. This sometimes limited our plans and transport options as the lift would be locked, and we weren't unable to exit or enter during this time.

Staff was very kind. There is a curfew at midnight but it is not a problem if you are a smoker, there is a dedicated smoking room inside the building. They let me drop my luggage before check-in time so I was able to enjoy my day without carrying it around everywhere. Place was clean, you can also buy food and drinks from the reception. I have nothing bad to say, I enjoyed my stay. wifi connection was good too.

I loved the hot bath! It came to me as a surprise that there is a mini-onsen inside the hostel! It was good because I walked a lot and it was cool to immerse myself into the hot, bamboo - occasionally bubbly - bath at the end of a long and rainy day! Besides, the personnel has good English, good location knowledge and could explain everything and had a solution to all my questions.

Everything was in order. I loved everything. :-) I would go back in a heartbeat!

As I mentioned in my previous review, I was not expecting the hot bath part and it was really comfortable. When I rearranged my trip and I found out that I could do a couple of more days in Kansai region, I didn't hesitate to book Shin-Osaka Youth hostel again. :-) Again, a perfect stay!

I loved everything. If I can, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I hope to return again soon. :-)

Shin Osaka youth hostel is very clean and nicely maintained place. Very good and helpful staff. I like the location very near to Shin Osaka station and perfect place to visit Kyoto , Osaka and other destinations in Japan. I was staying at this place second time and whenever in Japan I will always stay here.

Very well managed hostel. Spotless clean, very modern and nice staffs. The common bath is at the level of onsen!

Shin Osaka station is huge. Hostel is walking distance but at night it might be difficult to find this location. So check it out before you go.

You’re gonna exit by the east exit and it is quite close to the station. Located on the 9th-10th floor of the building. You need to go to the 10th floor to check in first.

The place is quiet and located very comfortably close to the station. The design of the hostel is old, but I found a special charm in it. The host Tanaka-San was very kind to me and explain everything in detail.
