Location was close to Metro and Convenience store. Restaurant was very nice rooms were spacious for 3 ppl and Bathroom was modern and new very spacious as well.

my only issue was when I had to get my Luggage forwarded to my next hotel in Yamagata. The guy at the front desk had some difficulty in filling out the form and this Hotel doesn't use Kuroneko Yamato transport, So I didn't receive my luggage on time. Luckily my hotel in Yamagata was able to forward my Luggage to my next Hotel. So make sure, you find out when you check in, how long it will take for their service to deliver your luggage to your next destination , if you want to use their baggage service and ensure the delivery date is correct.

The staff at the breakfast place was very friendly and helpful! Had a good impression on them. We were assigned to the Annexe block so not much interactions with the main building staff.

The cleaning staff at the Annexe block wasn’t very friendly, not happy with the make up room sign that we put up, I don’t think they are local. We left something behind in the mini fridge on check out day, but was told by the reception that the staff who cleaned the room claimed that there’s nothing left in the fridge. I was quite disappointed with the answer, given the high expectation on Japanese great honesty and efficiency.

We have been walking past this hotel from our past visit in Tokyo, we were intrigue by the front facade design which to us were very nice, great lighting, and very compact yet cozy Lobby area. So this time we give it a try to stay at this hotel. We were surprised by the cleanliness from the lobby down to our room and to our amaze the bathroom are very big and comfy. This hotel is very well prepared, great staff training, not a big hotel but very well classic design. Hope to stay here in the future again. Definitely will be back.

The hallway in each floor could see some renovation, to look new with good lighting aswell.

Wow! Amazing hotel for the money, given what hotels in Tokyo usually go for. I will stay there from now on. Best "breakfast included" I have ever seen at a hotel, and I travel a lot. Full "American style' buffet including fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh breadstuffs, fresh fruit, salad(!), fresh potato salad, excellent yoghurt, coffee & cappachino dispensor, plus cereals--loved the Japanese rice-based granola, and more. Also a full Japanese breakfast including rice, fresh salmon, miso soup, etc. Room was not spacious but was efficient and comfortable. Room service was great. Lots of unexpected amenities--like toothbrush & paste already there, robe, slippers, & more. Staff very helpful. Place was spotless.

First off, the location was wonderful and we would definitely stay again. It is right next to the subway station, and this subway is a little less busy than others. Secondly, the small streets behind the hotel were filled with some of the best restaurants we found in Tokyo. Awesome eats at a great price. So this place is fantastic if you want to find a slightly quieter area right next to all the festivities.

As for negatives, the room was a little worn down, but nothing major. For example, our faucet in the bathroom was almost falling off and our bathroom door had a big piece of tape over big hole. Nothing major, but explains why it is not a 5*. The thing that could best be improved is the breakfast, which remained the same each and every day. Staying for 6 days, it got a little old. For 2-3 days, it would be fine. It would have been nice to have a little variation.

The environment is good, surrounded with essential amenities. Travelling out to Shinjuku shopping malls is very convenient, reachable within few minutes of walking. The closest subway is about 2 shop units away, can't find any hotel better than this. The hotel staffs are very accomodating, who strive to fulfill our needs to satisfaction. Particularly, Mr Viku, who is always willing to go for the extra mile for us.

The laundry seems to be overcrowded in the evening. As the washing capacity is twice the drying capacity at present, probably it would be more sensible to equalise capacity. The hair dryer in the room is also underpowered.

The staff were very supportive with everything. They even gave me a great recommendations locals hot springs in Tokyo. I would recommend to ask how much their upgrades cost at the reception since we booked the regular twin room which are quite small. We upgraded to the biggest twin room available and this really helped us out and it was really cheap that came with extra perks (check out at 1pm or 2pm)

If you’re just over 6ft then you might find their beds short but I think that could be an overall Japanese sizing problem. This included the shower head not being high enough for me so I would have to crouch down when showering.

The hotel's location was quite convenient, with easy access to local attractions and public transportation. It made exploring the city hassle-free, and I appreciated the central setting. However, some may find the surrounding area a bit noisy, especially during peak hours. The hotel's breakfast was a highlight of my stay. The variety of options offered something for everyone, from continental choices to local specialties. The dining area was clean, and the staff ensured that the buffet remained well-stocked. It was a pleasant way to start the day. The hotel staff deserves commendation for their friendliness and professionalism. From check-in to check-out, they were accommodating and quick to assist with any inquiries. Their positive attitude added to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the stay.

While the rooms were clean and well-maintained, I couldn't help but wish for a bit more space. The layout felt a bit cramped, especially if you had luggage or needed to work in the room. Larger rooms would greatly enhance the comfort level of the stay.

The staff was WONDERFUL. Went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of even when there was a mix up of check in date. We always had our beds made up and fresh towels daily as well which is a plus since it seems most US hotels don’t do that anymore. We loved the cozy and charming ambience of the place especially with our view of the rose garden.

The only thing that could have made this hotel better was softer beds. Also wasn’t a huge fan of the food at the restaurant but there are so many other places to go in the area so it didn’t bother us.
