Double beds were large

We booked for 5 across two rooms but only two double beds. Luckily beds were large so we fitted three kids in one quite comfortably.

The location was fantastic, close to Shinjuku Station and restaurants. 11am checkout. The staff were very accommodating, we could leave our bags there after we checked out and they helped with booking a restaurant for us. The laundry was the best one we used in our two weeks in Japan. They provided fresh towels and new bins by hanging the used towels in a bag outside the room so they didn't need to come in the room if you didn't require them to. We had a family of four in the room, and it was fine. A little tight with suitcases but what room isn't with 4. We would definitely stay again.

Breakfast is in the connected cafe next door. You have a ticket and you have a choice between a Japanese or Western set. We chose Japanese and it was very good! We liked the location - close to Shinjuku Station but not a busy street and close to some really cool buildings and a nice park. The room was not large but not cramped with a long desk that worked for both of our suitcases. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

There were no reading lights by the bed or a night stand for your book or cell. We were there only for one night so we survived.

The room was a bit small for the three of us, but we managed. This was our first day in Japan, and while the airline we arrived from misplaced one of our luggage, they notified all our hotels we would be staying at. Kadoya Hotel kept us updated on the situation about the luggage. Our other luggage that was fine, we had sent it to the hotel from Haneda Airport via Yamato Transport the same day, and Kadoya Hotel accepted it accordingly, and forwarded them to us when we arrived at the hotel. For thr complimentary breakfast, we received a ticket for the restaurant on the first floor, and we had a choice of Japanese style or Western style breakfast. My son had the Western, while I had the Japanese. Both were delicious. What I appreciated was that this hotel wasn't too big, budget friendly, and it is nicely tucked in a little street of other small stores and businesses. It's also next to a Lawsons convenient store. Booking.com didn't list this hotel for being able speak in English. I found that one spoke English, while the rest of the staff didn't. This place is in close walking distances to Omoide Yokocho, Shinjuku Station, and the Kabukicho area. Oh, and we all LOVED the massage chair in the room! Overall, this place was excellent, and I'd recommend this place for sure.

Small space and had to step up into the bathroom.

Excellent location close to retaurants, a convenience store and Shinjuku station/large department stores. The Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We were allowed to leave our bags the whole of our last day and then change into our travel clothes before heading to the airport. A firmer pillow was provided on request and resulted in the most comfortable nights' sleep of the holiday. Although small, the room was typical of other budget hotels and perfectly adequate. Also, very clean.

The breakfast was very disappointing, the worst of my holiday. Taken in the ground floor restaurant, the furniture and fittings were quite basic and meals were prepared individually by disinterested staff rather than a buffet, as provided in all other hotels during my trip. I opted for the Western menu which comprised a plate of runny egg, 2 miniscule sausages & some ketchup, a small side salad, a cup of soup (which was tasty & changed each day), sliced bread & croissant (the best of the holiday). The first morrning the sausages were missing, there never was any bacon. Yoghurt, limited cereal, and various toppings were also provided together with juice & hot drinks.

We started in an economy twin (due to unavailable rooms) , the room was clean but small for our needs. We then shifted to a universal quadruple room and it was so good. Very clean, spacious with a mega TV. Location of this hotel is great. Lot of eateries within 5 mins and the train station is minutes away. Overall very happy with the stay.

The only thing I was disappointed in, was that for the price of the big room, there was no good view, just a building next to window. . The smaller room had at least the street view.

The location was very convenient. It was near Shinjuku Station Central West Exit if going to the hotel. You can take the South Entrance if want you want to ride the train. The South Entrance is also good since it is above ground which is easier to navigate via Google maps and has a JR office near the entrance. You can also take the West Entrance/Exit if you want but it is below ground and you have to carry any luggage down the stairs (there are no escalators). I made the mistake of going to the West Exit when I first arrived at Shinjuku station thinking that it would be nearer to the hotel location based from what I saw in Google Maps. I rode the Narita Express going to Shinjuku station and let me tell you, navigating to the West Exit from the Narita Express platform was really hard. It involves going down to the platform tracks and going up again using only elevators. I eventually was able to go to the West Exit after 30 minutes. And since it is below ground, I had to carry up my luggage in a flight of stairs. I realized afterwards when I got familiar with Shinjuku station that I would have had an easier time if I exited via the South Entrance/Exit. Yes, it may seem far away to the hotel via Google Maps but in reality it's actually not. Plus, one trick that I learned is that it is better to stay above ground as much as possible or just go around outside a large station whenever you are not yet familiar with it yet. You can avoid having to carry any luggage up or down a flight of stairs when you do this. You're gonna be going the long way but I think that's better than getting lost inside the station which would be really time consuming and exhausting. So for the rest of my stay I usually just used the South Entrance/Exit when riding trains. There were also a lot of restaurants near the hotel so you will never run out of options on where to eat. They had a Lawson just next to the hotel building and other convenience stores nearby.

None! The location, amenities, and staff were all good.

A small hotel that is value for money. I have stayed there many times for a short break in Shinjuku. Lawson is just next to the hotel. Many eateries around the areas. Room I booked is quite big and good size for 1-2persons with 2 big luggages. I love they have a bathtub in the room. Location is very convenient. Express airport bus stopped at Shinjuku station either from Haneda or Narita airport which is about 10-15mins walk to hotel. Staffs are always friendly and attentive to our needs.
