We loved our stay at Keio Plaza. We booked for the start of our trip and ended up staying again last minute at the end of our trip as we didnt like the hotel we booked. The rooms here are much larger than the average Japanese hotel room and are very clean and well kept. The location is perfect, super close to all the action in Shinjuku but tucked away in a slightly quieter part of the city. Less than 10 min walk from Shinjuku station. We got the airport limousine bus that drops you right outside the front of the hotel which is so convenient. Will definitely book the Keio Plaza for our future trips to Tokyo.

The wifi was very hard to connect to and would drop out a lot.

The hotel is very impressive and expansive. The room was also really nice with an incredible view. We were in the south tower and looked out straight onto the Government building, which has a nightly light projection show. This started about 15 minutes after we checked in on the first night and it was incredible. We also could see Mt Fuji alongside the government building when it was clear one morning. The hotel is close to Shinjuku station and the expressway airport bus terminal, which the staff helped us out with as we needed to get a 5am bus to the airport. We also used the Disney shuttle bus which worked great. There are some nice places to eat just a couple of streets away and there is a Natural Lawson just nearby which is a great convenience store for those looking for some more vegetarian options.

All the catering options in the hotel are very expensive. I think an Airbnb with some more utilities in the room is better suited for a family stay. It was also unclear to us that our room didn't include access to the sky plaza so that was disappointing.

A huge beautiful hotel in the business district of Shinjuku, so it is a quieter area of Shinjuku. Rooms were lovely, specious and very well maintained, albeit the bathroom was slightly dated. We had a great view of the Tokyo Metropolitan tower, and the hotel bar on 45th floor had amazing views too. We were lucky enough to have breakfast up on the 45th floor as well! The staff were absolutely incredible.

It was quite expensive but saying that, the facilities and common areas are pretty amazing. Also - it is in a quieter area of Shinjuku so a bit more of a walk to the main Shinjuku area, compared to other hotels (but we didn’t mind that for our first day in Japan!).

I like the location. There is a tunnel for pedestrians under the road toward Keio Mall

I stay in the smoking room although I'm not smoking due to no non-smoking room available. The rate for smoking rooms should be lower, because of the smell. Yes, the room has an air purifier but it is insufficient.

Really love the location.especially airport limousine bus stop there.so its really convenience for us who travelling with kids with many luggages.

There is no coin laundry

Nice hotel, I was on floor 39 in the premium class so view was perfect, nice room.

Mediocre service, ran like a factory so you really have the feeling that you are part of a big machine, staff at club lounge not very helpful and limited service orientation

This is my 4th time staying at Keio Plaza. I always liked the location, comfortable & clean rooms, great staff and the little value-added service - e.g., free shuttle to Disneyland, Airport Limousine stopping at hotel door step, Ta-Q-Bin counter.

Would have been nothing and hotel could have gotten a perfect 10 score but for a poor experience during checkout. I was running late to catch a train and did my usual to checkout, settle the bill a couple of hours before leaving. When I was leaving, all I wanted to return the room card keys. I told the staff at the front desk that I have already checked out and paid and just returning the keys. Even emphasised I was in a rush - but she kept insisting that I needed to stand in the checkout queue to return the card keys! Despite me repeating I am late to catch a train & that I have already checked out & paid!! I almost missed my train because of this incident.

This is a lovely hotel, with great staff, and just a short walk from Shinjuku station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We ate breakfast (included) every morning at any one of the three restaurants on site. There was a robot taking the dirty dishes into the kitchen in one of the restaurants, which was a novelty.

Im sorry to say this, but the beds were so hard. During our stay of 14 nights, I don't think any of us had a good nights sleep. A buffet breakfast can be eaten at any one of three restaurants, but the food on offer is the same in all of them, which was a little disappointing.

Rooms were large for Tokyo hotels and had a bathtub (we stayed in the South Wing), and housekeeping was good. It has two lines next to it including the less crowded Tochomae station on the Oedo line. Better than Shinjuku. There’s a decent Komeda’s cafe opposite the back entrance where we ate at twice and more eateries are about 5 minutes’ walk away. We liked that the limo bus stopped right at the hotel and that tour agencies picked up guests at the hotel too.

As with large hotels, service is impersonal but efficient. The hotel was crowded especially in the morning. We didn’t eat at any of its restaurants - when we arrived at 8pm, the all day dining Jurin was already closed and we didn’t feel like eating at the buffet restaurant. The tempura restaurant only accepts reservations and was booked for several days in advance as it’s very small.
