Breakfast is quite good and there are a lot of choices.

Suggest to ride one train or one bus stop from Zurich main station to hotel if you’re carrying a heavy luggage or more than one, you have to walk up to the hotel, like a small hills. Once you are going down, it’s ok. Other than, it’s pleasant to stay there.

The hotel is very well designed and equiped. However the rooms could have been a bit bigger.

We came there many times already and we are always having the same issue with the staff entering the room without asking if someone is in. They are just coming in and apologizing once they realise that the room is not empty. We once had the case of just 10 minutes being in the room and already someone steeping in. Really unpleasant !

We had a great stay and very much appreciated the free coffee and tea in the lobby!! It was a nice pick-me-up whenever needed and a sweet bonus compared to other hotels we‘ve stayed at. Odt if the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was great. The hotel it’s not too far from the main station and easily accessible by tram as well. Rooms are cozy clean and quiet.

We personally found out that we didn’t enjoy having the bathroom as part of the whole room and the toilet felt a bit cramped. Would have instead preferred a separate bathroom with toilet inside, but it wasn’t too bad either this way.

This is a good value for money hotel considering that Zurich is a super expensive place to stay. The rooms were in excellent condition, it seemed like they were recently renovated, and they were very clean. The hotel is also in walkable distance from the city center and very close to the train station which makes it a great option if you are having a short visit in Zurich.

The rooms are a bit small so it may be the most comfortable place to stay in case you are planning to stay for more than a couple of nights. No A/C in the rooms but that may be a common thing among Switzerland. We stayed there during a heat wave in August (>30oC outdoors) and the rooms were a bit more hot than expected in the night but I guess that doesnt happen oftenly.

the set up of the bath and toilet was odd: the toilet is separate from the bath, and it was somewhat situated in between the door and the bath. The bath which was enclosed only in clear glass. This means that when you take the showe, you'll have to close the curtain OUTSIDE the bath, and it would keep from exiting the room altogether. Similarly, you cannot take a shower until after your companion is in the room. I traveled with a friend so it was a challenging

I had the pleasure of staying at the Ibis Zurich for four nights, and overall, I had a positive experience. Allow me to share my thoughts and impressions of the hotel. It's located centrally, really close to the main train station, so most of Zürich is really within walking distance. It has decent sized rooms, which isn't a given with some of Altstadt's boutique and independent hotels and it just simply works for the price. Check out is at noon, which also in this day and age comes greatly appreciated.

No complementary water in the rooms, everything has to be bought separately... I don't know... would it kill them to give one bottle of water for free?

This hotel was perfect for a girls trip. Room comfortably fit 3 people and was very clean and comfortable. Staff polite at checking and when answering any questions we had. They were incredibly friendly and well mannered - thank you! Restaurant / bar area was a perfect area to relax. Hotel only a short walk from the main train station where a train to the airport is very easy and quick. Christmas markets were a comfortable walking distance away. Lots of tram links if prefer to use public transport and staff excellent at helping you plan a route.

Shower not private - this sectioned off or frosted glass would be nice.

5 minutes walking distance from the central train station. Hotel feels luxurious. Check in went smoothly and staff was nice. We were able to store our luggage after check out. Room was designed practically. Room had a good ventilation/heating. Large tv which could screencast. Breakfast was nice with warm eggs and sausages, breads, some vegan options, fruits, cheeses and pastries.

Mirror above the bed is weird. View was towards the hotel so you could see the other rooms which is why everybody closed their curtains.

Very clean probably the cleanest shower I’ve seen in a hotel it was spotless! we stayed for one night at the end of our trip to Zurich but it was a little bit further away from Old Town but not to far that it was an issue, about 15 minutes walk. Very good value for money. Only negative is I found the bed quite uncomfortable it was hard with a very soft pillow which gave me a backache; just personal opinion. free tea and coffee in the reception as not in the rooms. Also has fresh water which is a benefit as I nearly paid for bottled as the rooms don’t provide water/ tea and coffee.
