Ms Sally and the team at the front desk are very helpful and staff will greet the guests upon walking pass. The bed is comfy, and pillow is soft and clean and you could request different types of pillow for the stay, a menu of at least 5 types of pillow are available. Water pressure in the shower is strong and bathroom is clean. We booked 2 rooms and we have a very nice stay. Parking is complimentary and the system uses car plate recognition that's totally hassle free.

The hotel is new and was undergoing a soft launch when we stayed there. It is conveniently located in a quiet area just away from the main city area. Going to places of interest was easy and inexpensive as we used Grab or walked to the nearby shops for local breakfast. The room were nice and spacious enough for the both of us. We had a Straits view room which gave us a beautiful and unobstructed view. The pool and recreation area on the 8th floor was also lovely and relaxing. As we drove in from Singapore, it was nice that the hotel was easy to find and offers free parking. The staff were friendly and attentive which made our stay much more pleasant!

Everything was great. From the moment we walked in the staff was very helpful and friendly. With 42m2 I was worried the room wouldn’t be enough for a family of 4. But the room was spacious. Beds are super single were comfortable enough for two adults. However, upon check in staff informed us if beds not enough they would give us additional beds. The hotel is brand new and super clean. All toiletries were good quality, even in door slippers were so cute and comfy I loved breakfast, very good food, variety and quality. However the coffee machine could do better.

No alcoholic drinks before 2pm. I wanted to have some cocktails before check out but the lounge opens at 2pm hence no bar drinks available till then

The hotel is brand new, the rooms are very clean, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is good, the pool area is nice and has great potential.

It seems like the hotel hasn't coordinated itself well yet. We were allocated a room that had a drainage smell and we needed to change. The front office staff should have known about this and not allocated the room. There was also some confusion about the credit card blocking amount at check in. The pool closes at 7pm and there is no drinks service available there. There is no footpath between the hotel and main road so you walk across some kind of empty paved yard, then it is difficult to cross the main road once you reach it, there is no traffic light to help with crossing.

What stood out for us were all the staff we interacted with at the hotel during our very recent stay. From check-in/reception (Natasha and Putera), concierge, restaurant (breakfast team), 1939 lounge on Saturday evening (22/07) and housekeeping (sorry I don't have everyone's names). Everyone was friendly, helpful and always had a smile to greet us. We had a great stay and will be returning again very soon in a couple of weeks :)

The stay would have been a perfect 10 if there was a rooftop bar / lounge to order f&b as we spent quite a bit of time up there relaxing. However having said this, the pool was not crowded / heavily utilized hence it may have not made economical sense for the property to set up one for now. Perhaps in due course. All in all, we had a memorable, relaxing stay and will be returning again very very soon in early August.

Room size, cleanliness. The friendliest of staff, other than just one person. Good breakfast spread. Very comfortable bed. Nice pool area.

Couldn’t buy a drink at 6pm one day because we were told by the young lady the bar was being closed for cleaning. Seriously? 6pm? We noticed no such issue the next night when others went in for a drink at exactly the same time. The hotel is just a little outside town, but mixing walking with taking Grab taxis (which are super cheap) made this relatively easy to manage. On a positive note, being on the periphery meant less city noise and traffic.

Easy to get to. Lots of ticketless free parking on levels 5 & 6. Direct lift access to the hotel lobby, which is pleasantly furnished. Friendly staff throughout. Limited room service/restaurant à la carte menu. Big Buffet International Breakfast Menu. Spacious restaurant. the Asam Pedas is super delicious, not fishy at all, lots of okra and aubergines. Large “Seaview” room 🙃. Extremely clean. The usual Complimentary coffee sachets and teabags.a

I do not recommend the Fish and Chips. Snapper for fish n chips? Sorry chef. Stick to traditions. Limited TV channels. Received local channels only even though there is a list of almost 15-20 channels? Called helpline, but nothing much they could do. Loud construction drilling sound on the 2nd and third day - around noon. Just for about 10 minutes each time.

The hotel is very new and the lobby is exceptional big making it very pleasing to see after travelling from Singapore by car. The breakfast buffet is one of the better ones serving fresh fruits and nice butter croissants and acceptable coffee.

Coffee at breakfast buffet to improve. Did not see a minibar in the room or find a electric kettle to make hot drinks. Aircon is a bit noisy and has to set to the lowest fan speed to make it quiet. The hotel is a bit out of the way from shopping malls and other interesting city sights.

This is a new hotel and I can't think of anything there wasn't to love! The hotel itself is really nice with floor to ceiling windows in the lobby areas, a great breakfast with many options, a restaurant and bar on-site, and an infinity pool that was perfect for a lazy afternoon.

Unfortunately, the pool closed at 7:00 PM which was unfortunate because that would be a great space to view the sunset from. This being such a new location, it would have been nice to speak to staff that knew something about the area or could recommend something to do other than to go to Jonker Street. They also had no recommendations for dining options in the area.
