The bed was comfortable and the room was by the pool, so the immediate setting was quite nice. Great place to see the sunrise. The pool was clean and refreshing.

Overall we did not like this area of Tulum....very crowded, noisy, lots of traffic. The beach was very small and had about 2 feet of seaweed on it, making it undesirable and nearly impossible to swim. The toilet did not fill and men had to come 3 times to fix it. Parking is expensive and across the street. Some staff were rude and this pace was very expensive for what it is.

we were SO impressed with the special touches from the staff. we were offered a bottle of wine in the room upon check in for our anniversary (thank you/gracias!!!) and the maids decorated the bed lovely with greenery, petals and towel arrangements. we were so touched and grateful for this welcome. the maids would bring in baskets to hold our fruit, very sweet. everything we asked for (ice, a knife to use etc, was given without hesitation) The location was set on a private beach (cove) and very quiet and tranquil. The rooms were so beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. fridge was wonderful to have to keep snacks and drinks cold. the full breakfast was wonderful - especially to have 3 options!

be mindful breakfast does not start until 8 so if you have early morning plans, don’t expect to eat until 815 at the earliest. also the bathroom was a wee small. my husband is 6 feet tall and his knees nearly touched the wall while using the bathroom so something to consider for those tall guests. i on the other hand don’t have any issues. overall amazing stay and good value.

We stayed in room D which was great, very comfortable beds. Water was always hot. Cleaner did a supurb job and we loved coming back to fun towel animals, so did the kids. This hotel is very family friendly. Staff was helpful and friendly, let us park our rented scooter on the property overnight.

At night, the bar across the street's music was a little loud, not the hotel's fault at all. Would have loved a security latch on the hotel room door too for security at night. The beach did have lots of debris, plastic, garbage, shoes etc that would wash up overnight (again hotel did not cause this).

Lovely and romantic to sit in their restaurant overlooking the ocean and private beach. Their restaurant Mivida served very decent food. I like their shabby chic/boho decor and great AC. Staff were friendly.

I really didn't like that they have their own money conversion rate because we had to pay about $40 more for the hotel than expected and agreed to upon arrival. It would be nice if the rooms were a bit more spacious. It would make a big difference visually if they had a nicer sink in the bathroom to match the pretty white, turquoise, and grey colour scheme throughout the hotel. We didn't swim in the ocean there at all because there was tons of sargassum weeds on the shore and in the ocean. Such a shame because it's a gorgeous spot.

The hotel was pretty simple, but the staff was really nice and helpful. They had clean, filtered water that you could get a refill of whenever you wanted. The included breakfast was very good, better than we expected. You could close between different options which was nice and for us it was plenty food to stay satisfied til lunch. The location is OK. With a cab you could easily get to the restaurant area, but be careful, the taxi drivers ask for different amount of money. we got cabs for 250 Mexican pesos, but som drivers were asking for 600 pesos. However, we found a restaurant just across the street called Mateo which was really good.

Our safety looker didn’t work that well and they had no staff that cleaned the beach from sea grass.

PPBP had just the vibe we were looking for. Rustic yet clean. We watched the sunrise each morning before enjoying a delicious included breakfast. The staff were so friendly and provided smiles throughout our stay. We enjoyed appetizers, cocktails, and a dinner from their restaurant as well. You are steps away from a variety of other restaurants and sunset decks as well. The beach was a bit more protected than others nearby and the sargassum was much less than expected.

Beach pillows were a bit moldy and could be cleaned or replaced.

The location was very close to a lot of great local attractions. But it's also far enough away to where it's not by all the super loud late night places. And the food at the hotel restaurant was really good. They also had a little private chill out area outside of my room on the ground floor. I enjoyed the beach side restaurant and cabanas. Room also had AC which was a huge plus. I got a really good rate for my stay.

The shower needed a shower curtain. The bathroom in general was pretty small. Luckily I'm not that tall or the toliet would have been hard to use.

The hotel is really cute! it is directly at the beach and there are plenty of sun hairs/ beds to lay down. The four of us shared a room upstairs with a pretty big balcony, which was really nice. The only downside was the bathroom… the door didn’t really close properly so there is not really a sense of privacy 😂 The included breakfast is very complete and the restaurant is very tasty. All the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Considering how expensive Tulum is, this hotel and the restaurant was a great value for money.

I didn’t like the way the manager or owner ( white tall man) treated his staff in front of guests and was rude to us. The staff was awesome went above and beyond. We checked in early and they were rushing to clean room to accommodate us and left a towel with bleach on the floor. I put my beach purse on the floor my fault i Shouldn’t off put it on floor but I didn’t know the floor had bleach so it bleached out stained bottom of purse soaking into it wetting I so luckily my clothes didn’t get stained. The sargasso on beach was horrible. Everything else was perfect

the property was clean and towards the end of the beach strip so closer to downtown tulum, it had facilities close by, ie. covid testing, bike rental, lovely pizza place opposite, mini market etc. the pool was always cleaned everyday, breakfast was delicious and the cleaner was lovely - always made wonderful creations with the towels, ie an elephant. the desk staff were also helpful and the place was clean

just needs a little tlc, shame the beach wasn’t maintained more due to the sargassum but this is also out of there hands, but we saw that other places had cleaned this up better, maybe some evening entertainment, there was none here - although there’s a lot going on, would be nice to have something considering the price you pay
