What a lovely locally owned & operates business. The gardens all around the property at just lovely. You can plainly see the love and care that goes into this jungle hideaway. The pool area is peaceful and shielded from the Hwy noise. The rooms are simple and CLEAN. They have an onsite resturant serving regional cuisine. They are ready to assist you in whatever needs you may have. Plenty of cenotes around if you tire of the pool, gardens, tennis and basket ball court. They resident Siberian Husky named Tango is the sweetest boy ever. He even guided us down to the pool and caves that feature 1-2 feet tall Alebrijes. Warm hospitality! Beautiful Botanical Gardens, Great stay & very lovely people.

The hotel-in-the-jungle is very nice. They have an impressive property including a wonderful half-in, half-out Pool covered by a natural cenote cave. The property owners and the staff are warmth, helpful and friendly; they are always looking to help… we felt really welcome. Pet friendly is a plus and the kitchen (breakfasts) are a good point!

Bathrooms were smelly, but this is not the hotel’s fault as they are always clean.

Very relaxed place with a nice owner. Ofcourse the cenote in the garden steals the show, but the lovely dogs also add to the atmosphere. It feels very "back to nature", we think we even saw a quetzal in the trees of the place!. We took a room with a gardenview, which is far enough from the road not to be bothered by the noise. Unfortunately this room did not have warm water (we choose the view over hot water)

The airco was a bit loud, and ofcourse hot water in the room would be better..

Sergio, the manager and probably the owner is on top of everything, very pleasant and educated person, the hotel is simple but well maintained, very clean and well worth the price.

A few more hammocks and lounge chairs around the pool would be nice. A small fridge and coffee maker in the room would elevate the room to another level.

Amazing staff, Sergio is the best host. He went above and beyond. He set up the projector for our big group, we watched a Soccer championship game. Many amenities: pool with a beautiful garden area, cave, basketball courts, soccer court, tennis court, restaurant,

very big property, enough space to relax. the owners were super nice and helped us with booking scooters, taxis and gave us helpful tips! breakfast was also very nice, rooms were clean.

It is quite far from the city centre Valladolid (taxi around 110-150 pesos) but for us this was not a big problem.

The father/daughter team that runs Zac Tun is great. Customer service was above and beyond. They made me a protein smoothie upon request, booked us a great massage and even watched my dog while we went to a nearby cenote. The vibe of the property is relaxed and open. It's rustic and fun. I would definitely stay again for a long weekend.

I liked everything about it.

This place is simply what I imagined staying in a hotel in the jungle means. I woke up with birds singing next to my window and you can hear the sound of the jungle at night. The staff is amazing, they were always available to help us and give us suggestions. Perfect if you wanna stay in Valladolid and visit Chichen Itza.

The rooms were clean, the staff was great, and the nice pool cave like atmosphere was very nice.

Rooms were initially clean, but after a few hours, insects would get in the room.

Excellent place, friendly lovely staff, nothing was too much. Great place pool wonderful. Great location situated a little bit out of main town which suited us. Will be revisiting soon.
