Immaculate and quiet. I love large bathrooms with enough counter space for toiletries. Shower space was huge, had a free standing bath as well and so very clean ! Bed was comfortable and the hosts were so gracious and the nicest people . We used it as a base to head to Waitomo, Rotorua and Hobbiton of course and was a wonderful haven to return to. I believe this is one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. David and Renata have set the bar very high indeed!

The hosts Renata and Dave are wonderful. Warm and inviting. Renata text me a few times before we arrived to check our arrival time as she wanted to be there when we arrived. The room was exceptionally clean, the whole house is presented superbly and the breakfast was delicious. (And they have a beautiful friendly dog and cat)

There was nothing I didn't like although I would personally would have liked a bigger bed. We had the room with a Queen size bed and a big bathroom (has a bath) the second room has a King size bed and no bath in the ensuite. So which ever is more important to you - bed size or bath?

*We were welcomed by David as Renata was unavailable when we first arrived and shown to our room and made to feel very welcome. *Our room was spacious with a private bathroom. *Their home is on a quiet Street and was within walking distance to town so could walk into restaurants in evening. *Our breakfast was delicious and we loved all Renata's homemade jams & spreads

The room and bathroom were immaculate. The bathroom was really great and beautiful. The homemade breakfast is very tasty. There is enough space to park the car off-street. The hosts are very nice and welcoming.

The space felt incredibly cozy and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom so we could smell the beautiful flowers outside. Renata and Dave were excellent hosts who made a great breakfast, and had local recommendations that we added to our trip. Easy walk to downtown area and the beautiful lake.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were excellent: fresh and clean with a comfortable bed and lovely bedding. The breakfast was delicious and we really appreciated the homemade produce. We would love to visit again.

We had a very warm welcome from the host ,lovely room and fantastic breakfast with lots of choices. Easy access to the town and lake.

There was nothing we didn't like. Can't wait to get back again a new area for us to visit

Grosvenor House deserves it’s top rating. David is a great host and cooks delicious breakfasts including home made jams. An immaculate room with high quality fittings.

Travelling with 2 suitcases made space in the room tight.

The home was very clean and we were made to feel very welcome by Dave and Renata. The cooked breakfast was lovely, and the home made jams were very tasty. The house is very close to the heart of Cambridge and not far from Lake Te Koo Utu Reserve.

The room was on the small side, but adequate for a short stay.

Absolutely fabulous hosts! Dave and Renata were very welcoming as were their pets😃. Room with ensuite was clean and spacious. Breakfast was a treat!! Would definitely rebook if heading that way again.
