Location location location. Within 2 blocks of the beach, restaurants, shops etc. Lovely hosts very helpful and friendly. The room was comfy and clean. Free parking was a bonus. We would stay again.

There was nothing really that we didn't like about the place or the owner. It's not the latest or greatest but the owner and location made for a very nice stay.

The owners were super hospitable and friendly. We had a month old baby and they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They also gave us great recommendations of what we could do in the area. Room was very spacious, great location, good shower. They also do a laundry service which was fast, and easy parking.

12 minutes away from Mt Manganui, this motel is perfect for a weekend get away. We booked a room last minute and John was extremely helpful throughout the process. He followed up with us at each step and made sure that our booking was confirmed. Even though we checked in at 11pm at night, he made the process very smooth and easy for us. The place was clean and tidy with all the amenities you can ask for.

Nice hotel. Very kind and helpful owners. Amazing location. 3min walk to the waterfront/shops/food! Room had sky with all channels which we were stoked about. Spa bath was great aswell after a long day swimming. Our kids were not supposed to come with us but due to covid 19 we changed our plans and decided to bring our kids last minute, owners were very helpful and let them come too. Owner also washed and dried our clothes for $12 and bought them back to our door when they were done. Thank you 🤍

There was a foul smell outside. Sewage type of smell.

The big family room upstairs of the reception was the best. It accommodated for 6 adults and my 2 daughters. TV provided in each room. Bathroom facilities was awesome. Wished we could stay longer but circumstances changed. The owners were very understanding when things changed. Room upstairs on top of reception is perfect for big families.

WIFI was slow and didn't connect at all. Parking allocations was tight.

Right in the heart of the city centre. Could not get any closer if we tried. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Exceptional place to stay. Highly recommended and will 100% be back to stay.

The room was super comfortable and I love the fact that this room has a spa bath. Friendly staff and I would happily stay again.

Some did a knock and run twice in the evening. The staff kept an eye out after I called them and it didn't happen again..

The owners are lovely. John and his wife are so lovely and willing to accommodate every request of the guests. They know how to make you feel welcome. They also have a lovely family

Some guests were very annoying. One day one of them started shouting at 6 am. Another day another one was screaming during the night. We did not like one guest who seemed to have an addiction problem. Maybe being more selective in the guests could be positive and increase the stars; the rest was perfect.

Location excellent. Steps away from eateries and public transport. John is a superb host, taking time to point out things regarding the rooms and also any local information.

The location was excellent for walking to restaurants, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the owners were pleasant and helpful.

Don't have any negatives to note
