The room being on the edge of the property with an amazing view. Easy to find, great spa, excellent wifi coverage, loved the bay window in the room and the small frypan was perfect. Loved the layout of the property. Very private if no one books room next door.

Spa lighting was minimal at night (1 switch where light faces below spa area) but was still great. Windows and sills needed a good wipe. Hot water was not as hot as we would've liked (luke warm). Room needs a dehumidifier as windows fogged easily. Rolldown blind over the entrance was a bit annoying, wooden areas need a little upgrade around the property.

Views are great, Rooms clean, fresh, neat and tidy. Bed was good - comfortable with just right level of support. Alby was really helpful and friendly. Didn't get to use the pools and the swimming pool was under maintenance (that's a good thing) but the facility looked good. Amenities in the room were on par with price point. Definitely on my return list :)

Only quibble we had (both retired) is the stairway in our unit would have been better with a banister/handrail in the middle (both sides).

Amazing !!!!!!!! Esp my 1 year old Rotti baby enjoyed it so much ! I was looking for a place with a bit of serenity , quietness and this place was just perfect .I booked this for my Dogs 1st BIRTHDAY and some nice photoshoot and iam glad i chose you guys I got the Camellia chalet :) . Cleanliness on spot . I am a bit OCD when it comes to cleanliness , and have a habit of checking beneath my pillowcases and i couldn't even find a spot ;) nor on the sheets .

Nothing to be disliked ! I loved my stay and this is my fav go to spot if iam looking for a quiet spot !

The beautiful view of Thames and the picturesque sunset created a serene and tranquil atmosphere that made for a truly relaxing stay. The cottage's vibe was laid-back and peaceful, further enhancing the overall experience. In addition, the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with lovely scenery. The sleeping area was nicely decorated. Rachel is an amazing host. Very friendly. Very helpful. Very kind. Thank you for sharing this special place with the world.

There's a few aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the kitchenette was somewhat small, which may be inconvenient for guests who plan to cook during their stay. The sofa in the living area was average in terms of comfort. Lastly, the kitchen table seemed too big for the limited space available, making the living area feel a bit cramped. Some adjustments to these areas could enhance the overall experience for future guests.

Arrived as guests, left as friends. Amazing views, especially sunrise & sunset. Very well appointed cottage, clean, quiet and comfortable. Every need catered for. Plus a welcome gift of yummy locally made liqueur & chocolate biscuits! Will definitely be returning :D

WOW !! This is the place to stay if you're in need of some lovely relaxing downtime. The view from our deck was amazing. The room was lovely & clean. The bed was so comfy. Only a quick drive to get to Thames but it felt like you were far away from the hustle n bustle. Alby is so friendly & welcoming. Would highly recommend this place. We'll be back for sure !! Have found our new hideaway :-)

It was perfect - there were no downsides to this stay at all. I'm a country girl so this place was just what I needed :-)

At first, my expectations were low of Thames and the area in general however the town and the Cottages + Chalets blew us away. The view of the town from the chalets is spectacular - perfect view of the sunset over the water. The bed was comfortable, and the location of the chalets was up on a hill so we weren't near all the passing traffic. The host was also lovely and friendly. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The bottom level of the chalet we stayed in may have a thin wall or a gap in the wall as we could hear the neighbouring guests entire conversations - this did not affect our stay at all but it felt odd to hear everything.

The cottage was clean and tidy and I liked the idea of having a lounge downstairs and a bedroom upstairs. It has awesome views. The welcome drink and chocolate biscuits were a lovely touch. I was passing through for work and so only stayed long enough to sleep so I didn't get to make the most of the pool, hot tub or local hospitality.

The cottage had heated up during the hot day and so it was stifling hot upstairs in the bedroom when I arrived in the evening. No aircon so opened a window and used the pedestal fan to move the air around as best as I could.

The view! The quality of the bed and ease of working in the kitchenette. The electric charging for our hybrid rental car. The hot tub and pool and beautiful gardens. The location for exploring national parks and reserves.

Bathroom sink didn’t drain very well, seemed to be no fixing it easily. Lots of stairs to carry luggage up and down.

Clean tidy had everything we needed, the view was amazing . Balcony was ideal to just chill out with a glass of wine and watch the sun setting. Hosts were friendly and helpful and very informative about local attractions. We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
