It was very clean, new, comfy, more than cozy. It is spacious. Well-appointed. Friendly hosts there at the start and end, otherwise didn't see them. Waihi is a small town, and its got a few nice cafes, and you are close to some nice beachside places at Waihi Beach, and the gorge and historic gold mine as well. I would happily return again, though if I had the discretion and didn't leave it to the last moment, I'd be looking to pay $150-170/night for this place, not $NZ212/night. Not complaining though; gotta meet the market.

Very little negative to say. More of a cautionary note: a. Watch you don't slip on the shower floor - its that clean b. Some of the windows are big enough to climb through, so make sure you lock them before you leave the unit. This is not to say I have any insight about the crime problem in the area.

Good location, clean and tidy, modern and comfortable. We got a text message on the day we were checking in to say that everything was ready and when we arrived there was a lovely greeting! We had both places and around the back, you can go between them both which is ideal.

There was some road noise but nothing I’m not used to. Not bad but just to be aware of.

Spacious and light-filled studio, very quiet neighborhood, fast and reliable wifi, private backyard perfect for drying wetsuits and surfboards. Everything is very convenient, and the hosts are wonderful. I really appreciated the delicious passionfruit from their garden they shared with me and the laundry facilities I was able to use free of charge. I felt at home right away and wished I could have stayed longer.

Absolutely beautiful stay, extremely clean, tidy and wonderful location. With winter upon us, I love warmth, so an electric blanket or air con unit instead of electric heater would have been more preferable. Not a criticism at all, superb stay over all

Such a welcome amd friendly space, very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful hosts, who were great at responding to messages. Breakfast was fruit, cereal and toast options. Room had almost everything you could need to boil water, refrigerate food and reheat or prepare it. And it was a short walk to town.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, offering me to check into my room earlier so I could go visit my elderly mother (who I hadn't seen for 2 1/2 years due to COVID international travel rules) The room and facilities were wonderful - very clean and comfortable. A very pleasant place to stay.

No complaints, just a minor thing with the position of the tv on the wall, I think it would be better positioned in between the 2 beds rather than on the queen bed side so it can be viewed from more areas of the room.

The unit was beautifully presented, and we were welcomed when we arrived and shown where everything was, how to use tv etc they are so accommodating and lovely to deal with. Will definitely be visiting again ☺️

Friendly hosts, comfortable bed, loved the shower pressure, extra bonus that breakfast was provided, offered us a taste of her passionfruit from the garden, even picked a cutting off a pretty flower for us to take home and plant, loved every moment here. Totally recommend

there was tea and coffee but no hot chocolate or green tea which would have been great since we were travelling with a child. hopefully this is constructive as its not a complaint

Large, modern, comfortable & clean apartment (one of two). Well placed for sightseeing in this interesting town & surrounding area. Nice, small, secluded terrace.
