This was good functional motel for a short stay and I imagine it rates well with its competitors. Its very clean and provides everything the traveller might need. it’s well away from the town and beach so you do need a car. The bed was exceedingly comfortable, as were the pillows. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are big and inviting. Everything you would want really. Thanks for a pleasant stay,

Nothing to comment on. It looks a bit austere from the outside with a tennis court sized parking area but once you get to the rooms it’s a nice home away from home,

Love the shower as I have trouble with my mobility it was excellent. A little dissappointed they didn't have green tea so the 1 chocolate was all we could drink. I noted when I paid on arrival there was a notice about senior citizen discount totally different organisation to Gold Card and so we didn't receive the 5% discount. Partly my own fault for not asking. Otherwise very pleasant people and was able to relax and enjoy.

Just would have liked green tea. Many people drink herbal teas these days. All in all was a fantastic motel. I liked the fact that they didn't disturb you every day and relied on you if you needed something. Meaning we didn't have to up and out and about by 10am. Very relaxing for me.

What a perfect place to stay!! Could not rate it higher. Our room was very clean and tidy with everything we required. The beds were so comfy and having a full stove to cook breakfast before checkout was amazing!!! Plus we arrived early and requested an early check in which was kindly accepted!! Location was perfect - thank you!!!

Wish we could have stayed longer - but we will definitely be re-booking when we come back to Whangamata!!

Lovely Motel ! Really enjoyed our stay! The man who check us in was so friendly and helpful, gave us lots of information about the area! The room was really spacious with a good kitchen! Comfortable beds and nice bathroom (wet room)! Stunning beach just down the road! Short stroll into town.

That we only stayed one night, we were sorry we didn’t allow for more time in the area! We would definitely comeback!

Property was in a good location., and unit was very comfortable, with everything we needed.

Dishes and cutlery were not properly clean. This would probably be last person who used them, but would suggest they are checked before letting room again.

The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The facilities in the rooms were good and we had an enjoyable stay. Value for money, easy to get to and met expectations. We would stay here again.

The bathrooms were a bit dated and one had a shower over the bath which is hard for older people to manage. They were however clean and tidy and manageable for us and we put the older people in the room with the walk in shower.

I really liked getting a glass bottle of milk, rather than the standard UHT! Compared to other motels in a similar price range, this was fantastic, I highly recommend it!

We had quite noisy neighbors, I don’t know what they were doing but the banging on the doors woke my children and me up in the night and early in the morning m.

Mostly very clean. Nice unit. Loved that our unit had its own back yard. Would stay there again.

I booked for 2 adults and 3 children. The owner said she will put an extra bed in for the 3rd child, which didn't happen. So we pushed the 2 single beds together and the 3 kids shared that, but not what we asked for or what we paid for. Mostly very clean, but there was hair on the shower floor. Having said all this, we would stay again.

Bed, kitchen facilities, bathroom, shower was wonderful, access to movies on Sky channel. Lynne was welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Easy to find in Whangamata. Walking distance to town and clubs. I'd book there again.

The wheels under the bed caused the bed to roll if you sat up in bed.

Our unit was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were just a 10 minute walk from the beach. We were able to park right outside.

A small point, the fridge really needed defrosting.
