Well located near the high street of Waihi. Rooms were very clean and had everything needed for a short stay - fridge, AC, toiletries etc. Easy on site parking and SKY TV (including Sports) standard with the room. Keeping in mind this motel is located on state highway there can be some road noise, however with the AC on it was hardly noticeable. We had a very comfy stay.

Nothing - its a great value motel that was very clean. Would stay here again.

Tidy and very convenient to walk around in town and shops

When I was told that I can’t have my visitors for more than an hour…they’re people who drop us off from Auckland and want to have a lil rest and toilet break especially my friends lil kids that came along too for 2 hours drive and 2 hours drive back….should have told me or remind me when I went in to pickup our keys rather than barging at the door and telling me off…not a good costumer service to me but apart from that everything was ok…

We have stayed here before, it was almost as good as before, but I think it was different staff last time. It's ideally located, and suited us perfectly. They had put an oven in, which restricted kitchen space, but everything was up to date. Some scissors would be an asset in the kitchen, for opening packages!!.

I unrolled a "fresh" towel for my shower prior to vacating, and it was marked with what appeared to be makeup!! I don't use makeup, so it had not been washed out!! Otherwise, it was great, and we will be back!!

Big private unit, close to town and near a supermarket. The beds were comfortable. Big kitchen that was well equipped. Big shower with good water pressure. And a little outdoor balcony out the back of the upstairs room, Overall a great place to stay.

The toilet roll holder is bulky especially with trying to navigate your way into the toilet with 2 doors going into it.

Perfect roadside stopover. This is a return visit because we were very impressed on first stopover a few days ago. Large very well fitted out. Kitchen had full stove. Shower was hot and powerful. While this is an older design motel it has been reovated with taste. Scrupulously clean.Linens and towels high grade quality. Price was hard to beat

Great location with amazing off street parking. Staff were super friendly and the room was very clean and spacious with great facilities. Loved the big shower and separate toilet!

Nothing to dislike, however, some comfier pillows would of been great! Overall, beautiful motel and friendly staff. Would stay here again!

The host was absolutely lovely and accommodating when we discovered that there was a miscommunication with Bookings.com on the cost quoted.

Cosy and convenient and very clean. Free wifi, tea and coffee and hot chocolate for the kids.

The units were really clean and well set up with everything we needed. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this motel to everyone planning to stay in Waihi.

It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped so that you can cook your own meals and it was the perfect location handy to supermarket and eateries and not too far to the hot spring pool in waihi.

Tv could be placed up a bit higher on the wall🙃

Hotel staff were brilliant, could not do enough to make the stay pleasant. Located walking distance to the center of the city.
