The breakfast was excellent! Staff was friendly and willing to help. The rooms were comfortable.
The location was a bit further from the city centre than I thought from looking on Google maps. Do not underestimate the altitude, a seemingly short walk is quite an effort at that altitude. On a similar note, no lift at this hotel, climbing 5 floors for breakfast was not what I was looking forward to.

The location was great! You have a supermarket across the street, banks, businesses and the Winchaq market across the street. The room was spacious and comfortable. They provided a heater for the cold nights. Breakfast was served in a nice area with a view of the city. Also appreciate that they allowed me to check in early. They have hot tea available at the lobby and 3rd floor. They also kept my luggage in storage after check out since I had a late flight that day. Overall, the staff was friendly, and willing to help.
My room was at the 4th Floor, by stairs. And it was exhausting to go up with luggage and bags. I had issues with the shower getting clogged but they offered me to change rooms. You have to walk at least 8 blocks to make it to Plaza de Armas. It is a nice walk, but not that close as the description provided in Booking com.

- Good wifi, but not very fast - Great location - There is a table on each floor where you can make your own tea from coca leaves - For breakfast, a main dish is prepared of your choice - If you have an early tour, you can request breakfast to go in the evening. Gives a package of juice and a package of cookies.
- Poor sound insulation, you can hear your neighbors - Problems with hot water. I had to run the water for 10-15 minutes to get it to heat up. (maybe it's just my number's problem?)

The hotel is in a great location in a walking distance from Plaza de Armas and San Pedro Market. I have always had only the best experience, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend this property and I will always be coming back.
There was a noise from the bar on Saturday night when I needed to sleep but nothing that ear plugs would not solve.

Great location with nearby food. Central location so you can walk to almost anywhere you need to go. Very secure and quiet. Breakfast on the top floor was excellent with a great view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They also offered luggage storage for free. Just FYI, the street entrance is only a single door with a small sign over it, easy to miss!
There were no opening windows to the outside and the only view from the room was looking into another room. We just kept the curtains closed. We were not really there for anything more than sleeping so this was not a problem.

The Casa Real is a great inexpensive hotel very close to the main street Avenue El Sol. It is a typical hotel room, very clean, the beds are very comfortable, with lots of warm blankets (a must in Cusco on a night), a lovely hot shower with great water pressure. Breakfast for us was included, which comprised bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee, omelette, and a dish of fruit. All tasted very fresh. You can have a drink of tea at anytime of the day. A nice selection on most floors and in reception. All the staff we interacted with were lovely and helpful. I'd recommend.
The only downside of this hotel is there is a central staircase and sound travels up like a chimney and carries along the landings. Given a few very selfish guests who come in late at night shouting, singing and slamming their doors (not really the hotels fault), but the design does exacerbate the noise.

The location is close to one of the main Avenues for Cusco centre. Making access to the main areas easy. The staff were lovely and always very helpful. The room was very clean, which after some hotels was even more appreciated. Especially as this was our longest stay in any hotel.
I think guests should be instructed to keep their voices down after 10pm at night. (Many excursions have a very early start, some as early as 3am). Not to walk about in boots or hard shoes when above floor 2. Not to slam shut the room doors. This particular hotel had a central staircase. Sounds and noise reverberated throughout. Three nights we had very little sleep, due to other guest's selfishness. Talking loudly, stamping/ dancing and singing immediately above us.

The hotel was great. Rooms were big and clean. The location of the hotel was good. While we went to Machu Picchu for 2 days we could let our bags at the hotel. Staff was very kind and available. The first time we stayed at this hotel we arrived with a night bus at 6 am while check-in was only at 11am. Our room was not ready so we waited a while in the lobby. The reception guy tried to make our waiting time faster so he asked us if in the following days we had any tours planned (tours usually leave at 3/4 am and therefore miss breakfast at the hotel) so that we could go at 6.30 that morning to have our breakfast. We saw a big attention to the hotel guests in general and we were very satisfied with the service.

We had coca tea prepared for us before we were done checking in, due to the elevation. Staff was just outstanding, and very friendly. If anyone needs any more testimony to how cool this staff was....the morning we left for Arequipa, the desk made us a lunch to take on the plane for our flight.
We ran out of hot water on the 3rd floor for tea on our last day there. (It was an extreme early hour......I was not upset at all. They were amazing, and I think we just missed the hot water after other guests had their share)

The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. The location is about a 10-15 minutes walk to Plaza De Armas, with many shops and restaurants next door. I’ve stayed twice at this hotel, the first two nights I got a single bedroom which is sufficient and the second time after coming back from Machu Picchu which I left my luggage and booked a double room. The two-person room is very spacious with a patio and a large wardrobe with hangers. I take a late checkout because my night bus departs at 8:45 p.m. I’m thankful to Aldair for letting me stay for 20 soles extra charged for the room. The bed was comfortable; the hot shower was pretty good, The wifi works well, which is one of the most important for each traveler - nowadays we can’t live without internet and is mainly the first thing I ask, the wifi password. The sumptuous breakfast included in the room price is delicious, which gives you choose some options from the menu card. And the kitchen staff were very polite and with fast service.
Outside is chaotic; the people are standing in front of the door waiting for the buses. No significant signs for Casa Real Hoteles, so you have to look carefully because the signs are vague. The breakfast room was on the last floor, which can be exhausting going through all the staircases as there is no elevator.
