The service was outstanding especially from the door attendee. The hotel is in a beautiful colonial building with decorations all around the lobby and courtyard. The location was amazing just 2 blocks walking to the main square in the historic center and restaurants and stores all around. The breakfast was not included for us but we had it for 2 days and enjoyed the variety at the buffet. We stayed at some 5 star properties in Peru and the service here was just as good if not better.

The room was a bit outdated but for the price we paid we did not mind.

The courtyard is so beautiful. Perfect place for breakfast or just to catch up on some wifi. The breakfast one morning with Pork adobo and corn tamales (steamed corn cakes) was my favourite meal in Cusco! So hearty, rustic and delicious! This should be added to the menu so it's available for lunch/dinner! Location is convenient, generally you can walk everywhere early. Rooms are clean. I liked the room with a double bed and more space to place your luggage. There was one which was 2 double beds combined as one bed that took the whole room, which was unnecessary and inconvenient for 1person but would be amazing for a family!

Shower in one room had a problem. This was the night after the inc trail so was very disappointing. Would have given a 10 if not for this.

Amazing place in a great location. The staff were very helpful, attentive and spoke English. We loved the courtyard which always had a great atmosphere. It could get busy and noisy at night but we couldn't hear it from our room at the back of the hotel so that was great. The breakfast options were also great and had something for everyone.

The only minor negative was the lack of electric outlets in the room (very few plugs and some didn't work). The sofa bed for our kids was not comfortable and mattress made a lot of noise.

Walking distance to the main square. And I'm not a huge walker so when I say it wasn't a bad walk, that's a compliment. The hotel is like a quiet, safe haven to return to after dealing with crazy hawkers pestering you at every turn. We loved this hotel. The staff were all lovely people.

We were a bit perturbed to find out that for the first 3 days there (out of 6), there actually WAS NOT A CURFEW on. Staff told us when we first arrived that due to the political unrest there was a curfew. This made sense to us but we were told 5 pm to about 7 am. We couldn't understand why locals were still casually working at 4.45 pm when we were quietly making our way back to the hotel, it turns out they were concerned because there wasn't a curfew!

Love this hotel, the location was perfect for exploring Cusco. The staff were outstanding, so very friendly and welcoming. We stayed before and after doing the Inca trail, on our first visit the room looked over the street and was a little noisy (but only for me who is a very light sleeper, my son didn't hear anything) so on return asked for a quieter room, and they were happy to find something for me and it was perfect, it overlooked an internal courtyard so no noise at all.

Loved the location and helpful staff. We stayed here before and after going to Machu Picchu and the second time we got a nice upgrade to a colonial room which was huge! The staff were always helpful and friendly and we got to keep our suitcases there while we went to Aguas Calientes for 2 nights. Beautiful and comfortable stay Gracias!

Nothing to complain about except the eggs at buffet breakfast were cold

Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities. after the 4 day Inca trail we were dropped at Novotel and unfortunately I left my bag in the taxi with my passport and phone etc. The lovely man on reception upgraded us to a better room with a bath which was so welcomed after our trek. All the staff were so friendly and it’s really close to the main square. 100% would stay again.

Hotel in the heart of Cusco. Perfect location less than 5 mins walk to the main square. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, with macha tea available on arrival. They also booked us a taxi to the airport. In walking distance to some really nice bars and restaurants, would recommend Local and Bodega 138.

On the second day there was an event in the breakfast room, so breakfast for the guests was served in the lobby/bar area. The event was so loud and it ruined the atmosphere at breakfast.

This was my second stay at this hotel in the last three years. Besides being centrally located, clean hotel and friendly staff, the food are excellent. Fantastic salads and trout to die for. I ordered a box lunch for my day trip, which was delicious and appropriate. Management should consider promoting it since most travelers may not think of it on the go. A simple photo in the lobby should do it. One can order from the previous day or up to one hour before the pickup time. I am saying this because most visitors are leary from eating on the go because of the water quality of most local food vendors.

The location could not have been better. I loved our room. Housekeeping kept it clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been friendlier!! We loved the lobby. We enjoyed 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners at the hotel. We enjoyed tea time every day. There was no language barrier here at the hotel. My husband and I also had a 1 hour body massage that was wonderful after our 5 day Salkantay Trek
