The place was magnificent. Great location, great people, excellent service, the in house restaurant had delicious food, fresh fruits, we had dinner their every night.. try the dieta de pollo! Breakfast was also very good. The room was good they clean the room daily. Could not have a better location it was great after every tour they drop you off at the plaza de armas 3 blocks away from the hotel a quick safe walk, also many restaurants and gift shops on the way to the hotel. Would stay again at Moneatario San Pedro.

Better heaters. It was cold at night. But the alpaca cover did the trick.

Lovely atmosphere in the hotel, it’s like a peaceful oasis when you come off the busy street outside. Lots of places to sit and relax. Helpful and nice staff - from the staff on reception to the cleaners and bar staff, everyone is very pleasant and smiley. Good location with a minute walk to the San Pedro Market, and 5-10 mins walk to the centre of town. There’s also a chemist next door and a supermarket nearby which is really useful. There’s a room next to reception which has an oxygen tank and cocoa tea for if you suffer from any altitude sickness like I did! Good value for money.

The double bed was a little bit small for 2 people. The bar staff are very nice but can be a little slow with drinks sometimes.

Location was absolutely excellent, exactly in San Pedro Market and less than 1 minute away from the San Pedro train station. Plaza de Armas at 10 minutes walking distance. Also, we stayed 3 times here and in our last round we got a great room, spacious and with all facilities. In previous 2 rounds the rooms were not as great, but still very good.

Breakfast was not so diverse and the location was too small for "rush hour". Also, the air in the rooms was very dry, which caused multiple wakes during the night because we couldn't breathe properly.

Located next to San Pedro Train Station, which made my departure to Machu Picchu simple. Hotel Restraunt or multiple eating options nearby. Hotel liason, Katherin, was a godsend in advising on my ticket into Machu Picchu. Absolute asset in providing guests with expert advice on historic sites and their significance. Amazing breakfast buffet. The grounds and facility are well maintained. Entry and exit point makes the place safe. This is the way to go if planning a trip to Machu Picchu.u

This location is actually a working Monastery and school. I saw Nuns and children quietly coming and going in the mornings which was actually a high light for me. This hotel is directly next to The Church of San Pedro and across the street is a large outdoor market with everything you can imagine. A good walking distance to city center, museums, churches and fine dining. Breakfast was good, a nice selection. The massages at the spa were very nice for the price.

Restaurant didn't offer half of the items on their menu for lunch or dinner. Much better to go to the city center for 5 star dining options at excellent prices.

The breakfast was excellent. Many choices of foods and all hot items were still hot and replenished frequently.The room was large and very clean. The staff were very pleasant.

There was not a thing that I didn't like. The property is exactly as depicted in the photos . The staff were so helpful and nice.The location is amazing and in a good area across the street from a huge market selling everything from food to souvenirs and clothing. Short walk to the Cathedrals and lovely parks.

The location was central, and we could easily reach the centre on foot within a few minutes! The rooms were small but clean and comfy overall. Other than that, it's a beautiful space with lovely gardens and a nice breakfast!

There was too much noise because the walls were like made of paper. We couldn't sleep very well as there was constant noise from people leaving or returning to their rooms. The area outside the hotel during the night can be a bit sketchy.

Really lovely and attentive staff, the beds were comfortable, they have an on-site spa which is handy too and prepare breakfast to go. The breakfast buffet itself is one of the best we’ve had on the trip!

Only downside is that there aren’t any sockets near some of the beds, the curtains are also very thin so if your light-sensitive, you’ll likely be awoken by the daylight. I understand it is a monastery but three floors could also benefit from a lift!

Lovely room with pleasant garden setting. Very tranquil. Staff very helpful throughout stay and check in very professional and efficient. Excellent central location for the main sights in Cusco, right opposite the market and the main square/restaurants all within easy walking distance.

The dining room at breakfast was cold - warm jumper needed. The ceiling to the room/corridor above was thin. It was often quite noisy overhead when other guests were moving about. Not helpful when they were leaving very early in the morning!

Breakfast was amazing. The atmosphere of the place was great, love the old monastery feel. The location was sketchy but it was close to the market and other views - just avoid going outside alone at night!

I did not appreciate that there was no drinkable water in the room - I had to buy some from the front desk but had just arrived and didn't have the appropriate bills for paying for water (they couldn't give me change). Thankfully they charged it to the room. But if the water is not potable, then there should always be a bottle in the room or a filtered tap to fill up a water bottle.
