PLEASE NOTE: Although it shows this rating for DOM CARLOS LIBERTY, I was in fact placed at Sister Hotel DOM CARLOS PARK. As after my reservation was made based on MY choice, received communication saying had to stay at Sister Hotel because of delays in Maintenance at the Liberty. So my question and complain here is - Why was it still being offered as available??? But anyway, this Review is for DOM CARLOS PARK nearby. Breakfast - Had a choice of Hot and Cold, Fruit and Cereal and different types of nice bread. As well as some Pastries. Room - Nice, clean, looked well maintained for an old and tired looking place. Lovely Hot Water almost immediately and great shower. Towels perfect and spotless. Location - Perfect, easy to get Taxis and 50 metres or so from Marques de Pombal roundabout and entry to Metro.

Continuing my Review for DOM CARLOS PARK (Not Dom Carlos Liberty). Everything was absolutely perfect, but even on 5th Floor could hear a lot of noise for most of the night as if on ground or first floor with the windows opened. Windows were nicely shut and looked double glazing, but useless at blocking the noise. An upgrade of Windows would make this an even better place. Also please set up a Bar, not difficult to run like a Restaurant and would be a treat for guests. I personally like a night cap or two at a Bar before retiring and would be extra revenue for you I am sure.

Fantastic location and I think the value in that makes up for some small odditys. Breakfast was so-so, coffee could be improved and pastries were not as fresh as previous places stayed in the trip. I thought the quality of the food would be a little higher and honestly I would have paid $10 more a day if that would help for improvement. Staff were very nice but not sure they knew the area that well, only really got one restaurant recommendation upon request for my first day of arrival besides the pizza place and healthy restaurant across the street. The one recommendation was however very good. The real annoyance for me was every time I came back to the room I had to call downstairs to have the a/c reset so I could turn it on but again I do think for the location the other items are of small issue and I would stay here again. :)

The hotel isn't too far from a metro station, so it was easy to get to. Check in was easy and my room was ready when I arrived just after 1300, so my expectations were already exceeded. The rooms have great air conditioning, which is needed in Lisbon in June. I liked that I could take the stairs up and down to my room instead of waiting for the elevator. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a wide range of channels. The shower had hot water and good water pressure. The towels were very fluffy. There are many places to eat near the hotel and lots of shopping. The front desk gave me a map, which was very useful. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and I'd return here if I return to Lisbon.

I had a very pleasant stay în this hotel. The hotel has a central location, the nearby avenue is getting you downtown. The reception desk staff is highly trained and very responsive to customers needs. They help you with any information you need during your visit in Lisbon. All day long there are 2 persons working at the reception desk. The room was very clean and had a street view but was quiet because the hotel is soundproof. The breakfast room was very clean, many healthy food options, including the traditional pastel de nata. The staff working în the breakfast room tried to do their best. I strongly reccommend this hotel and I will definitely come back here.

Great, central location with good public transportation and within walking distance to many attractions. Clean, comfortable rooms, comfortable beds with multiple pillows, and helpful stuff. Room was cleaned every day. We had absolutely no problems at all.

They could be offering some more stuff such as shampoo, conditioner (they had one of those "body and hair wash" which is not ideal) and hair dryers in the rooms. Breakfast was good but they were not super quick about refilling stuff that the breakfast ran out of and if you go a bit later, they could run out of some stuff. But overall no real problems.

Extremely helpful friendly staff. Check in is efficient and uncomplicated. Staff went over and above for me. Breakfast is amazing. Plentiful, fresh, great variety, well presented, and delicious. The hotel is clean and tidy. My room and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom is a good size with a shower. Water pressure is good and water temperature is a good heat (adjustable). This hotel is in a really great location, a comfortable short walking distance to all the sights. As a solo female, I felt very safe.

My room was smaller than I expected, but this is because standard rooms in Australia are more spacious. I had booked a double bed, but was allocated a twin room, and there wasn't enough space to lay out and open my suitcase. I didn't know that I could've requested housekeeping join the beds, which would have then given me more space. Of course, I could have paid more for an upgrade to deluxe!

Great location. Great value. Kind and accommodating staff. I loved my room 803, and liked my room 603 (even though it was an upgrade). Breakfast was adequate but very little variety (I was ok with that). Better to get breakfast early. Desk is fantastic for working. Beds are comfortable. Sparking clean. Great water pressure. Wi-Fi was perfect for working.

Small lobby. No place to really hang out from 11:30 to 1:30 while the housekeeping cleaned. There was a lot of noise in room that faced the street. Endless sirens and horns. Not the fault of the property but if you’re going to work in your room choose a smaller room towards the back. Avoid 301 and 401 — I suspect both will have noxious fumes from drains. Bathtub is small by American standards. All that said I would stay again.

Beautiful breakfast room, delicious breakfast! A very neat hotel, perfect for a business trip. Location is great, very close to subway station, walkable distance from old town.

I could not find free WiFi details in my room, and, since I had data available, just used that instead. I'm sure if I asked the staff they would have resolved this, but I guess I was too lazy/busy/introverted. Instructions (password) in the room would have helped.

Location was good. The staff was amazing, so welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was great also!

I think a little more orientation to the facilities would have been good. Like where was the gym? Was I allowed to sit in the dining area and have a drink if it was outside breakfast time? Etc. I mean I could have asked but at the end of the day I was only sleeping and waking up at the hotel. The only two things were there was a fasting walking creature/type of bug! And the shower soap was already empty my first night.

Location was excellent for the money and very close to Marques de Pombal Metro station which was a bonus. A tip for anyone coming from the airport...Save money on a taxi or private car and get the Metro, it's easy and only costs 1.65euro The room was fairly small but comfortable and the staff were friendly enough. The Bar was a fridge and a shelf with spirits on it in the lounge/dining area. They operate what can only be described as an honesty system where you drink what you want and mark it on a sheet, then hand the sheet in at reception. The choice of drinks was basic but ok. Breakfast was what you expect in europe, continental but a fair amount of choice and good quality.

If I was to be picky I would say the window in my room didn't have the soundproofing that I'd hoped for but the road noise by no means kept me awake at night.
