The services of the staffs was impeccable. Special mention goes to the 2 ladies working in the restaurant during evening. To be honest, I do not recall when was the last time we have met such nice and smiling staffs during vacation. The food at the restaurant was good too, although I personally felt that the breakfast spread could be a little bit more. The room was cosy but the bed and pillow was not. So I had to request for a bigger room. The toiletries in the washroom were good too. Overall, the place is very quiet due to its location. Essential shops are nearby.

1. The location is far from the center where most/all of the tourist attractions are located. 2. The approach road to the hotel [approx 100-120 mtrs] is pitch dark in the evening. 3. There is no intercom facility in the room. So I had to run back and forth to the reception to sort out an AC related issue in the first night.

You may get scared approaching Penzion Berg, as you have to negotiate a cityscape comprising what looks like urban wastelands; however, Bratislava is smaller than many people assume, and the hotel in fact is quite close to the main bridge on the Danube (the one with UFO) - applying GPS and/or a map + a compass, and walking in a rather leisurely pace you reach the said UFO in something like 30-30min. As a bonus you get a quiet place, far away from the sounds of the nearby mini-metropolis. So do not be discouraged localising the Penzion Berg on a map. The hotel is staffed by people who know how to do their job. The waiters are proactive and friendly and so is the reception staff. The whole place is clean. Rooms (or at least the one we got) are surprisingly spacious for a three-star place. You get a coffee machine (with cartridges) and a fridge in your room. To summarise - an ideal starting point for a weekend in Bratislava.

Leaky shower wall; British Army sniper's tape we put at its lower edge proved its usefulness.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. The attached restaurant is great for all meals and stayed pretty busy. Breakfast was decent and had some good options. The room was large enough but unfortunately it seemed we could hear every door close in the building. The location is very surprising as it's hidden in an abandoned type area with nothing around. You can take an Uber into the main part of town for a few euros, so that helps a lot to not have to worry about driving into the city.

Location was a bit rough as there was nothing to do close by.

Very confortable accomodation and friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Free parking. It was a very good accomodation for 2 nights. Lots of facilities.

The room had a little bad smell (humidity). The lighting in the room and bathroom wasn’t very good. A better lighting on the mirrors would be helpful. Also, the hotel’s positioning is in a strange area, I only recomend it if you have a car. The bathroom needs to be cleaned much better (the shower floor).

Room and bathroom stuff, Nespresso in the room. Very good breakfast. Very welcome staff. Good, free and convenient parking space. The room is good looking, functional and comfortable. Two sufficient places for two big luggage pieces. Bus station to the city in 5 minutes walk.

No facility to dry towels during the day. Bathroom vent working time is to short to make its job. Shower place is over open; addition of sliding door will greatly improve the showing and make it more relaxing. In addition, it will help to save the bathroom door and surroundings from water drops. There was no way to use tv as smart tv, Netflix, for example. Remote control does not allow this. It would be great to get some discount in the restaurant for the penziion guests. But all of that was minorities.

It was fine. Not memorable, but fine. The staff were fine, the room was fine, the breakfast was fine - but none of it was especially memorable although, in fairness, the dinner really was memorable: It was excellent in every respect.

The location is abysmal. Really difficult to find and, if you're using public transportation, you need stamina, good walking shoes and a map and compass!!!! That's true - if not slightly exaggerated (!) - but, in fairness, the price and quality of my stay more than made up for a difficult location. The room, itself, although spacious was quite dingy - it felt a little like a concrete cell.

The property is very beautiful and nice decorated. Both room and bathroom were clean. We had toiletries (shower gel, body lotion). In the room we had coffee, tea and two bottles of water without additional costs. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The only thing is that the double bed is composed from two single beds and when you stay on the middle is not that comfortable. The breakfast was really good and had a lot of options. The hotel staff was nice. You definitely should try their restaurant too. It’s so cosy, with nice waiters and good food.

Amazingly good value. Huge rooms, high ceilings, very quiet location. The breakfast spread was amazing and served in the onsite restaurant (which is also good). Free mineral water and good coffee-making facilities in the rooms. Walking distance (sort of) to Bratislava-Petrzalka, the station for trains to/from Vienna.

If you're on foot and burdened with luggage you might want to take a taxi from Bratislava-Petrzalka. It's about 800m, no sidewalk for half the way (road pavement only).

The location of the Pension was a bit outside of the city and at first a bit hard to reach even with car. In order to visit the city, we used public transport which was about 10 min walking distance - not so bad in principle, except the area for a walk was a bit industrial and abandoned. The room was big enough, with extra entrance area which was nice. Breakfast was good, but serving time was a bit short to enjoy it fully. All in all, good experience, if you do not mind distance to the city.

The room and overall feel of the hotel was great. I will recommend the place for anyone travelling to Bratislava. Since its right outside the city, if you are planning to travel to nearby places, its a good option to stay here.

The location was difficult to get to. The car navigation and Google wern't really able to direct us well. We were really late in the night and had the feeling it was difficult to get to the hotel. Could really be our mistake as it was late in the night and we weren't sure about the roads. I think they can have more options for vegetarian/vegan food in the breakfast. Sure, they had fruits and joghurt etc, but as a meat eater they had bacon and eggs in multiple options. Roasted vegetables would have been nice. Their beans were poorly made, felt like old canned food.
