Room and bathroom good size. Excellent balcony views. Friendly staff. Good bus routes. Near to airport.

Food was average, often repetitive dishes. Limited signs to say what the food was. Long waits for the lifts. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Maid entered room too early, just knocked and walked in, not good!

After reading the other reviews that average out at 8,7 I would imagine that to be a fair assement, on average, over a whole year. I stayed 31 days (still staying as of today). Basically all of March I found a great offer on booking.com that I extended from 18 to 31 days. I am rating my stay as an overall 10 with that offer in mind.

I have no complaints what so ever. Since I specifically was asked about the free wifi I gave that a low score. In reality, if I needed better wifi I could have purchased better wifi. No problem here! A four-star resort with hundreds of rooms and employees is bound to make a few mistakes/have a few problems/have something or other not working. Some people get caught up in tiny details, while others look at the big picture. I give Estival Torrequebrada a 10 (or maybe 9,9 because of the wifi;-) if that makes you happy).

The food and the staff at reception and restaurant were very nice and welcoming

no iron in the room, had to ask at reception, I was brought a very used one to the room but was told they would collect it after an hour. I had to iron my clothes fast and then she didn’t come to collect it until the next day 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️She said they only had 3 irons for the whole hotel. An idea, maybe not advertise you have irons on the site, I would have brought my travel one if I hadn’t read they had.

Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, bravo to the cleaning staff!. The room was of adequate size and the tv english channels were great with no buffering. The beds were two singles pushed together but were very comfortable and roomy.. Breakfast was plentiful and in the main well cooked and fresh and refilled promptly (though on the last day the hotel was very full so there were queues for fried eggs and omlettes, but this didnt bother us, the free glasses of cava accompanying breakfast more than made up for a short wait!!! lol). The evening meal was varied and plentiful and the mexican themed night was excellent. All public areas were kept very clean and tidy and all the staff worked very hard.

On the last day I spoke to at least 3 people in the dining room about them not wearing a mask, who were all receptive, BUT I would like to see the dining room staff a little more vigilant in ensuring people wear a mask at all times whilst walking about.

the pools were really good

It is too big hotel, and ic you stay on the street side, it is very noisy. And dining, the only option for dinner is to eat in the big dining room. that looked more as canteen. After 10 pm it is not possible to get sth to eat. Therd are no room service

The gardens and pool areas are excellent. The staff are excellent and friendly. Yes you can get queues at the main bar but the wait is not a long one. Drinks are very good on All Inclusive - Aperol spritz, pina colada, mojito. The room I had in the Malaga block got sun in the morning. Ask for the Marbella block if you want evening sun. Breakfast is great. The themed dinners add a little variety but lunch and dinner are very similar and buffets always have their limitations.

The animation team don’t frequent the adult pool area so if you want to get involved sit in the family area. The animation team may be from France which is a bit odd in a Spanish hotel but as French Tui come here, and there are a lot of French people here, maybe that’s why. The pool areas only open at 10:00!

The fact you have to pay for water at the restaurant (even with half board). we were being charged for bottle of water and when we requested for normal tap water, we were told you can only have 1 glass (this is after making a fuss at the reception desk). It is shameful to say the least and in all my travels, this is the first I have heard. It nearly ruined the experience as the other hotel staff and receptionist were amazing plus the stay would have been Amazing bar the experience with the waiters at the restaurant.

The animation team is class, plenty of activities and they are lovely. Kudos to Vanessa :) There is always a place to get food and drinks

With the exception of the staff at the bar, A lot of times I got an I don’t know for an answer for simple questions, which is fine, but I didn’t see any effort on trying to find out the answer. The swimming pools open a bit too late at 10am, same for the Spa (which closed 10 min the advertised time one day) There are minor bits that makes the all inclusive feels not all inclusive, such as one bar closing at midnight but the all inclusive drinks ending at 11:30 pm, why not bake that extra half an hour in the actual price? it will make it feel it like a real all inclusive, the other one is parking, not included also

Loved the view from the rooms - we requested seaviews and everyone got one. The breakfast offer was superb. The fact that it was served until 10.30am was great too. The pool areas are lovely and clean with plenty of beds

The staff at the pool bar were under pressure a lot of the time we were there. It would of been better to have another staff member on. The staff doing the classes at the pool were great, but whoever had the whistle needs to have it removed from them! very very annoying for our whole group. She just kept blowing on it randomly through the whole aqua lesson. The one the day before didn't have a whistle and it was just as good - if not better attended.

The room was very big and it had a large hallway big bathroom with walk in shower the toilet was contained behind a glass sliding door but still in the bathroom. The view from the balcony was fabulous you could see for miles. Breakfast was self service they had a wonderful array of items and you could go as many times as you liked or as little. Any thing you bought from the bar or pool bar had to be paid for by card or charged to your room.
