Only a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport make this is a very convenient place to stay. Negresco is one of the smaller hotels on the Playa and that is entirely in its favour. The staff are wonderfully attentive and none of the facilities are overcrowded - it has the feeling of a very exclusive club hotel. The hotel has a mainly German clientele but that makes it even nicer - it has a true international feeling. The rooms are very well appointed and the buffet at breakfast and dinner is plentiful and varied. There is a wide selection of higher end bars and restaurants in the area and visits into Palma are made very easy by the No.25 bus which stops virtually outside the hotel and gets into the city within 20 mins for just 2€. Wonderful - we will be returning.

Nothing to dislike - but as a tea obsessed English person, I do miss having tea making facilities in the room for the morning!

Location from airport, from Palma, the beach & restaurants. The staff were efficient & so helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean & had a really lovely relaxed atmosphere. There was a wide choice for Breakfast with a freshly squeezed orange juice machine, worth booking to include breakfast. Pool bar menu & snacks were great too, reasonably priced and a good selection. Roof top pool has amazing views & sundeck, it also has a bar but sadly wasn’t open when we were there. We had a room with side sea view which was more than ok, but the views from the full sea facing rooms are worth the extra. I was there with my daughter who had just finished her exams & it was perfect for us. Bus #25 to Palma (cash only) 20 mins Bus to airport €5 Taxi to/from airport around €20 ea way

Only two small improvers; the mini bar wasn’t cold & didn’t keep anything cold and a coffee machine in the room would have ticked all my boxes.

The location and the ambiance in the hotel are great. The rooftop pool has no shade, but it is spectacular with the view and almost nobody was up there. The rooms are spacious and clean.

We had two single beds instead of a double bed and they were on wheels and not lockable. So it was almost impossible to lay close to each other, the beds drifted apart. Also it is a bit early for the cleaning persons to start vacuuming, shifting beds around and shouting through their walkie-talkies really loudly at 8.30. But those are details, overall it was pleasant.

Great spot, and great staff, the staff made it the best, and the hotel was great. The front desk staff WOW they are great, they helped with everything and remebred my name always.

Warm the pool or the pool on the roof, one of them needs to be warm. The hot tub indoors is no fun, need one on the roof also. I would have spent all my time there. Also needs a bar or a phone that calls the bar from the roof.

- There is no gym at the hotel (unfortunately noticed it too late...) - A little weird beach towels policy - required depot and only limited to 1 towel per person which can only be replaced once a day... - Not worth going to the hotel restaurant for other meals than Breakfast (poor selection)

1.Location: Perfect location just across the beach. 30-40 meter from hotel to sea. There are lots of restaurant, souvenir shops around the hotel. Bus station is 2 minutes by walk and you can easly go the Palma center by taking Bus25. It takes around 20min ( depends of traffic ). Palma Aquarium is just 10 mins by walk. From airport, you can use Bus A2 directly to the hotel. Name of bus stop of hotel is Balneari 12. 2. Foods: In general, we are not a fan of hotel food but this hotel is total exception. Either breakfast and dinner was great. There are wide range of selection in both. 3. Staff: was very helpfull and always welcoming 4. Cleaning: You will smell of cleaning when you firstly come to the room. They clean the room and change sheets everyday if you want. Bath was nice, bed was also confortable. 5.The sea view from the pool on the top floor was excellent 6. SPA was great, Highly recommend to use. It was 8 Euro per person.

1. Pool is relatively small but it was completely no problem for us. 2. You need to pay for drinks at dinner. I was assuming drinks was also included in the price but it was not. At least, soft drinks and water could be included.

Staff was the best! Location and cleanness.

Rooms in need for some renovation soon hopefully. Little too cold in the room but acceptable.

You can use the pool side to leave your stuff and go swim in the sea and come back. So you do not need to rent umbrella or anything in the beach.

breakfast was amazing, more than enough choice and the morning staff were superb. Location is probably the best in terms of distance from bar street and beach area in front of hotel. The room size, shower, view etc. was as advertised, very nice. The thermal spa area is very nice to go relax after the beach.

The TV in the room had no english channels available, we were told it was a german area only so they don't cater for english channels. The aircon is a central system and only gets switched to cooling from 1 May, which would be good to know before hand. There was no coffee station for morning coffee in bed / on the balcony, apparently this is available in the upgraded rooms (we had side sea-view room), but also the restaurant staff was very accommodating with this. The pools were cold.

Very, very clean, shiny even! Great pool/bar/dining room area. All very friendly staff except the big guy at the bar. He didn’t smile or interact with us at all. Felt like I was a bother to him. Both pools were great, but no umbrellas for shade on the rooftop one. Not a big deal because the main pool area had sufficient shaded areas.

*AC in our room didn’t work well. They did send someone up to check it, but it didn’t help. They gave us a fan because couldn’t switch us to another room as they were full. *Sourpuss guy at the bar. *included breakfast buffet and bar food was mediocre. We didn’t eat dinner there. *As an American—-NO coffee maker in the room or lobby!! Restaurant, where the coffee was, didn’t open until 7:30. I’m up at least 2 hours before that. You can rent a kettle from the front desk for 3euros a day, but they only send tea and instant coffee. Just a heads up for those from USA where coffee is life! Lol
