This place is a little slice of heaven! I was originally coming to stay for a week with my husband but he was delayed due to work commitments so I can confidently review as both a solo traveller and as a couple. It matched all expectations for both! (I selected ‘solo traveller’ for this review as I wouldn’t want anyone travelling alone to miss this!!)
Francisco, Raffa, Yvonne and the entire family and team - including the adorable dog (was never able to pronounce his name properly but know it translates to little Lamb!) were as hospitable and welcoming as could be. The house and grounds are breathtaking. You won’t want to leave! We/I stayed in room 4 which is just off the main terrace: a beautiful room, cleaned meticulously daily. The wi-fi works perfectly in the communal areas - I had important zoom meetings that needed absolute silence and Francisco always found me somewhere. Plus it’s GOOD to be without wi-fi in the room (secret: I downloaded Succession for the evenings!).
There is a small fridge in the room and a shared kitchen on the premises. I would recommend a stock-up on essentials unless you’re ok to go out for everything. You will need a car but then glorious mountain villages around are so worth exploring and there are restaurants, supermarkets and a pharmacy just 2km away. I was blown away by Finca Son Pont and know I will return. It’s just that kind of place.

I would have been a loyal patron of meals and a bar if they'd been available. Even a one choice 'this is what we're cooking tonight' menu.... I honestly didn't want to leave!

The scenery and Puigpunyent was lovely, gives a real feel of Mallorca. Staff were charming and could not have been more helpful, but buildings were impressive and steeped in history. The tafona and chapel are well preserved and let's you look through a window into the past. Price was good value.

Bed was an old lovely four poster but creaked a lot and was too soft for me but others may like it. Pool and sun bathing area could have been a bit tidier and pool cleaner, didn't stop us using it but feel that the owner is missing a opportunity to increase his revenue by putting a bit of an investment into certain areas such as upgrade of bathrooms, improved gardens and terraces. But it caters for people that want to be more in touch with nature so it's definitely providing that and it's super value for money so I can't be too critical and would recommend it to anyone that wants to be off the beaten track and in a natural environment.

The property and staff are so lovely. Such beautiful history and charm. Got a mini tour upon arrival of the old chapel wow flash back in time and the olive oil mill from the 15th century so cool! And the location is about 15 mins from palma and oh so beautiful. I really like the owner is a really cool cat who really loves his property you can tell. :) Yvonne was so lovely and went the extra mile at check in. They want you to be happy here! It's a quiet peace of heaven with much nature surrounding you! mountains, fields and goats roaming free. owls at night and the stars! Free coffee in the main area and free water container in the garage across from check in. The apartment we rented was a studio with a big patio lots of light, loungers outside and privacy. my client slept like a baby. kitchenette and good size fridge for groceries and a big pantry drawer to store dry goods. Will recommend to all my fiends coming to visit me in Mallorca!

if we are looking for something to improve The only thing she mentioned was the shower leaked into the bathroom so she had to use many towels not he floor to keep water from going all over as there is no door on the back end of shower but didn't feel like bothering to complain as everything else was so lovely here small concern. And the pool could use a little love and she shared both times she went the robot and pool cleaner was left in the pool so challenging to do laps around but again pool big enough to cool off in with an incredible mountain view in nature so you can't really complain. WE love it here and will be back!

Finca Son Pont is the most beautiful place we’ve ever been. Located in a national park, you’ll find a 500+ year old “Finca” where 6+ generations of a family have lived. The place is magical. Perfect views, sounds of nature (only!), a laid back atmosphere and an owner with an amazing character and lots of charisma. Really. We booked this place for only 2 nights but in hindsight we would have wanted to stay here for our full holiday. Restaurants are a 5 minute drive away. You can do amazing hikes, cook food in your own kitchen, enjoy it in the middle of nature. The perfect get-away in nature, but with all the luxury that you’d prefer on a holiday. 10/10.

There’s literally nothing that we didn’t like. It was perfect!

Location in peaceful area of mountains only 20mins drive from Palma. Access to stunning beaches and mountain villages within short 25-35 minute drive (hire car essential to explore the island). Take your own beach towels and umbrella! Bus stop just outside the hotel if you can't drive.... Pool area and private terrace with sunloungers outside rooms was great. Views incredible. Only noise was goat 🐐 . Beautiful property from 15th Century at heart of Finca was very special and atmospheric for a romantic quiet break. Breakfast was great selection of cold buffet Free shower gel and shampoo, kettle for making tea in the room was ideal. Cold water and coffee free 24/7 I asked for recommendation about beach and restaurant to visit and both were spot on. Staff/owners were charming and super helpful. We went in July and would like to return in cooler months to take advantage of walking trails. We were grateful to use a shower room on our last day as we had a late flight. This was essential as the weather was scorching hot! Thank you

No bar or snacks available after breakfast although there were excellent self catering facilities and free access to water cooler all day. We went to the local supermarkets to get snacks and drinks so not a problem! Also lots of amazing restaurants and cafes close by

Where should I begin.. when we drove up the property we were already amazed by it's beauty. The countryroad towards the main entrance of the old finca looks like a movieset. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly hostess and she showed us around the estate. We booked the suite and it was very spacious. Situated at the end of the property, so we had a lot of privacy and the possibility to park the car very close to the suite. The pool was delightful with a perfect view to the hills. If you are looking for Mallorca in it's purest form, this is the place to be. Far away from the crowded areas of the island you find this oasis of rest and beauty. Last but not least, we really enjoyed the breakfast on the upper balcony of the finca with beautiful views on the surroundings. If you like to eat out, Sa Vinya was a great place for dining. Thanks for making our stay great, hope to see you again in the future.

This is a truly beautiful family farm (finca) from 16th century (if I remember correctly) adapted and well kept for hosting. The scenery, the houses, the open spaces, the little Francisco's family museum, all are fabulous. The room was nice and big with antique furniture but new and comfortable bed. The view of the green valley with the morning coffee mug in hand is priceless, just like the breakfast in the enclosed large patio with classical music in the background or walking through the gardens under the palm trees. Both Francisco and Ivonne are great hosts wishing to accommodate and provide all the relevant information on getting around and enjoying food and wine. :-)

Everything was great. Only the bathroom could be just a bit bigger, but it is just my whim.

We spent a wonderful six days at Finca Hotel Son Pont. Yvonne and the owners of the hotel, Francisco and his son Raphael looked after us superbly. The accommodation was very private with good air conditioning. We had our own outdoor sun loungers. The swimming pool area is super with wonderful scenic views. Breakfast was served in the main house courtyard with plenty of choice on offer. Coffee was available all day on free vend. Its a superbly relaxing place to be. We were enthusiastically shown the historic main house which has the original olive oil producing machinery preserved, the house has been in the same family for many generations. Palma is only twenty minutes away and access to the rest of the island is very easy. All in all we had a super time.

I liked both the location of the accomodation and the accomodation itself. To describe it, I would use adjectives "beautiful, lovely, impressive". The owner and the staff there are very friendly and kind. There was nothing to complain about, it was perfect. You can really calm down there. I fully recommend Finca Hotel Son Pont.

What could be better? Hard to find anything. Probably the beds could be less creaky :-) And there was a facility (presumably for pressurized water?) located just behind one of the walls of our apartment, which could be less noisy (but it was audible only due to the total silence at night). And I would personally consider buying multiple CDs with classical music for the breakfast :-) But the above mentioned is meant as "small tips for improvement" and it is completely negligible in the whole context.

Son Pont is an absolutely beautiful place, so peaceful, picturesque and full of character. Francisco, Yvonne and Raphael are very lovely, kind and helpful! Their sweet dog greets everyone at breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Great hiking routes around, make sure you check out Puig de Galatzó.
