Great location, very easy walking to old town and, in the opposite direction, to other shops and facilities you might need. The staff were all lovely. Breakfast was very reasonably priced. The room was spotless and there was a nice little table with two chairs to sit at. There is a lift from ground floor.

Our room had a double bed which is a bit too short for taller people, I had to sleep with my knees bent. The bathroom was also small, the shower was about 60x60 cm (24”) and with the tap handles already sticking out it made for a very tight fit.

Nice Architecture and stylish wooden character. Professional, friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Good location.

I was in room 36, which had the air-conditioning funnels outside, so they were noisy. I expect that this would not be a problem in other rooms, but I always look for accommodation that is quiet.

This is a fantastic property in a great location literally five minutes walk from the old town, and no more than 10 minutes from the cathedral and all the main sites. The best thing, without a shadow of a doubt are the staff, incredibly friendly and helpful, resolving any issues immediately. We had a problem the first night as our air-conditioning wasn’t working, and we were immediately moved to an even nicer room. The rooms and communal spaces are warm, welcoming and well furnished, and the breakfast excellent, served calmly and efficiently with a friendly smile and delicious! If I return, I will definitely stay here again!

Hotel Herradura was a very sweet, comfortable, and clean hotel. It was a great value with 24 hour food and beverage selections. All the staff was wonderful and very accommodating, especially Nuria in the evening was very welcoming and helpful. It’s a great location close to everything.

For a longer stay it can be challenging without a refrigerator/microwave in the room.

It was a perfect respite after walking the Camino and reaching Santiago. The room was quiet, spotless and comfortable in all regards. The breakfast area was comfortable and appreciated being able to get yogurt and fruit, bread and cheese, as well as the usual offerings. The hotel staff were each so warm and helpful in addressing our every question, making restaurant recommendations and calling a taxi to the airport for us. We felt so well cared for.

There was nothing that I didn’t like.

My room was lovely. It was very well designed and a wonderful place to rest after walking 100 km. The staff was very attentive, and the service was marvelous. it was very well situated, just five minutes from the historical district. the stab had a great recommendations for restaurants, and were helpful in getting us a taxi to the airport.

The only recommendation I would make would be to add some oatmeal and/or granola for breakfast for folks used to eating higher fiber diet. 

The calm efficient welcome, the excellent facilities in the room and bathroom. Beautiful large towels. We asked for an iron and ironing board, they were delivered in a instant. We found Hotel Herradura a very good city hotel and would certainly recommend. Its next to the Botanic Gardens, taxi rank and a short walk from the historic centre.

Nothing to report. . We were agreeably surprised with Hotel Herradurs's value and location.

A great hotel in Santiago, not too far from the city centre and generally in a good location. The staff is great and breakfast tasty. Rooms are small but comfortable. All this makes it a bargain when staying in the (expensive :-) ) city of Santiago de Compostela.

Two minor issues are the size of the shower, which is rather small. And as other guests have noted, noise insulation could be better (or guests could stand to be quieter at night. Either way works).

This hotel is located a few minutes away from the madness that can be Santiago, and right by the highly underrated Alameda Park. Perfect location. Food and attractions (and a killer view of the Cathedral) just a short walk away yet the hotel itself was quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Comfort and character are too notch. Building dates to 1800 and I understand the hotel has been going 23 years as a family operation. They care and it shows. The breakfasts are a great start to the day and I enjoyed an evening drink there. The location is minutes from the Cathedral.

It rained the 3 days I was in Santiago de Compestelo.
