The pool facilities were really good, the location was perfect and right near the beach. Helpful staff that provided recommendations and things to do. The fitness centre was really good and well maintained.

Our bed was quite noisy, seemed like there was a spring that was loose so that was noisy at night. We did let reception staff know and someone did come and attempt to fix it but unfortunately this noise was not fixed. We were not informed at breakfast of a menu that you can order from and only found this out on our last morning, which was unfortunate and that was because we had enquired after seeing another guest order. The sink in our bathroom was blocked and the showers were really small.

We loved everything about this Hotel/Resort. Certainly the best Hotel I have ever stayed in and I have travelled extensively. There was nothing that you could possibly want that was not catered for and all the little touches like turning down the sheets at night and leaving chocolates on the bed really gave a sense of being a part of the Las Arenas experience. The staff were exceptional in their efforts to facilitate every request of Guests. You could say they provided a MASTERCLASS in Customer Service. The wider facilities of the Hotel such as the Pools, Gym, Spa and just sitting out on the Veranda on the beautiful furniture completed a magical time spent in this Hotel. Stepping out from the Hotel onto the Beach was a huge extra bonus. Can't wait to return.

NOTHING!

There is practically nothing to criticize about the hotel. Opulent inside and out, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast (even after a week we did not get tired of it), swimming pools, close to a huge (really huge) clean beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (fee 21€ - 2x sunbed, 1x umbrella), center 10 minutes by taxi (approx. 11-12€), airport 20 minutes. Each room has a balcony, cleaning twice a day, a little gift every day. As it was my birthday during my stay, I had a dessert in my room :-). Just around the corner is wide promenade with a wide range of restaurants and shops. In short, a perfect stay!

Perhaps just a small thing that the maid threw away our pajamas by mistake and no one could solve it, we were not offered any replacement :-(.

Room, gym, facilities, breakfast, staff. Pretty much everything.

I guess it comes down to cultural differences so this may or may not be someone's cup of tea - i found it a tad too much to have staff coming to the room 4+ times a day to check if everything is alright. After having been woken up and interrupted in the middle of the shower (if you don't scream noooo in the first 2 seconds and loud enough they're getting inside), i started putting "don't disturb" at all times. I just think that modern day 5 star hotel doesn't need to offer this type of service any longer, seems exaggerated, old school and pretty unnecessary.

Exceptional hotel, rooms were immaculate, staff were amazing, so helpful & friendly!! Stayed there for my birthday weekend, came back to the room to find a piece of delicious pudding with a candle & matches, such a lovely & unexpected surprise! Location was right next to the beach, which was so clean! The restaurant within the hotel was also exceptional, staff were very helpful & knowledgeable with food suggestions when we couldn't decide. The breakfast buffet was really good too, would highly recommend paying the extra for it! Overall I can't recommend this hotel enough

The room was a perfect size for a hotel stay. It had a beautiful balcony with a sea view. The room was cleaned and refreshed everyday with a turndown service of an evening. The hotel was on the beach so there was a beautiful breeze in the very hot weather that Europe was enduring. The staff were amazing, and the concierge service pointed us to some amazing sites and restaurants, No complaints with the onsite restaurants, breakfast was a full range of English and continental.

The shower in the room could have been bigger, that's my only moan

Good facilities around pool area and lovely outside spaces to relax. Breakfast good quality with plenty of choice. All communal area clean and well maintained. Helpful staff.

Beds were not of a good enough standard for a 5 star hotel. 2 single beds joined to make king size were on wheeled frames. They creaked when turning over and moved so not a good sleeping experience. Problem reported to staff and addressed promptly but issue only partly rectified. Beds should be a better standard and fixed bases. Table Service at breakfast was not consistent . Around pool area towels not cleared by pool attendants so often it appeared that none were free. We had to guess if people had left and clear them ourselves.

Loved the friendly staff and very clean and spacious rooms. The resort is also a very nice place to sit and have a drink outside. Parking just under the hotel is also very practical. Excellent breakfast.

Room (city view) was very warm. You can either turn on the noisy air-conditioning or open the balcony door, which can become very chilly during the night. Breaking was very good. However, you always have 2-3 staff constantly asking you if you need anything, which is unfortunate if the only you want is enjoy a quiet breakfast at a nice location. But other guests may like such constant attention.

April 2023

We went in early April and the resort didn't seem too busy; we sat next to the pools and wandered along the beach esplanade when we wanted to. The gym facilities were great, they had a kids club (though only found out by chance), and plenty of restaurants nearby. We did some exploring ourselves around the area; there's a great area about 10min walk north called 'Mercabanal' - maybe 6-7 different food vendors in an outside area; very casual but we found it very useful with different cuisines all in the same place. Room was comfortable, Housekeeping services great and efficient, would be easy to spend a week here.

Feel like we could've been given a better check-in experience in terms of telling us there was a kids club, and then giving us a quick idea of the surrounding areas. We asked the concierge for some restaurant recommendations and got 3, but feel like they were all the "tourist" restaurants - incredibly overpriced for what they were. At the poolside F&B outlet they didn't have a kids menu and again prices were quite expensive for what you got.

Location is great for the beach and bars. The pool area is really nice with plenty of sunbeds and pool bar. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned and made up everyday to a very high standard

Room feels a bit dated and the seal on the shower door was coming away. Breakfast was busy and the staff overrun sometimes. Drinks are very expensive, expected to pay more but you are looking at almost 10 euro per drink from the beach front bars about 2 minutes walk away
