The location of the hostel is great, it is close to the city center, but also a very quiet place. I would love to HIGHLIGHT how HELPFUL the team was. Customer service is 10 stars. Great communication. Room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Each bad had its own plug so you can charge your phone easily, and you also have your own night lamp. Both the toilet and bathroom is very clean. Overall a great experience, a very good value for your money. :)

As friends, we enjoyed the common areas where we could chill and play some cards game after a nice day in the city. The public transports are close and quickly in the city center. Everything was also cleaned and the receptionists were really kind and helpful.

We came back with some bugs bites, maybe from the beds. We were 5 in one room and it was fine for 2 days but the room was pretty small and we had no storage.

This was such a surprise! I booked the hostel on a very last minute and luckily was accepted. The hostel is in a really old building with a beautiful courtyard. I booked a 4-bed bunk and met some really nice people. The bedsheets were top notch hotel quality clean and fresh! The kitchen is small, but has everything you need and kind of forces people to communicate, which I actually liked. The common area is so nice and comfortable, people were so friendly and welcoming, I was actually sad I was only staying for one night.

Even though the house has thick walls it was really loud at night. My room was facing the street, so you could hear the loud trams all night, plus I think there was some construction going on. The doors also bang very hard, so that the walls are shaking. Unfortunately couldn't really sleep there, earplugs recommended. The shower has a motion sensor light which makes you do little naked dance moves through the curtain if you don't want to shower in complete darkness :)

Very clean and tidy. The common areas are clean and comfortable, there is room for eating and talking or for other relaxation. The staff is very very kind and helpful, and I have had good experiences with them here in messages and there as well. You can easily get to the city center with a short walk, and other attractions are also very close, or you can choose public transport: the tram passes in front of the building. However, it seems to be a calm and quiet neighborhood. The room is small but it's ok for a short stay.

Closing the doors is very noisy. I have no more negative experiences.

rooms have no chairs, there should be at least one. am supposed to sit on someone's bed or the floor to get dressed? this is basic. construction behind hostel very noisy will be going on for at least a year. Forget about enjoying backyard, it's been rendered useless.

Not the first time I stayed here, and perhaps not the last. Of course it's a simple hostel, situated in a historic building, yet it's charming, taken care of and with everything you need for a budget stay. Located a bit outside the city center, with a tram stop and shops just around the corner. STF Hostels are always a good option when in Sweden.

Some little details could use a bit refreshing, but again - it's a hostel, and it's great for what it is. Also, since my last stay, some other things have already been modernized.

Location was excellent, steps away from tram stations to Slottsskogen, Haga District and the City Centre, walking distance to bars and restaurants on Andra Långgatan. Staff are very friendly, informative and helpful, facilities are well maintained and clean. Cozy lounge and common areas.

The air extractors keep pumping cold air into the room all night so had to find a way to block the air flow because it was freezing cold outside. Hot/cold sensation inside the rooms. Could not sleep properly some nights. Quite uncomfortable for a person who is not used to Swedish weather during the cold months.

Very clean, which certainly isn’t the case in all hostels! The dormitory room also had a lot of floor space which was nice. It’s a bit far from the centre of town but I think that’s actually a good thing, the hostel is in a really nice area so you see more of the ‘real’ Gothenburg, not just the tourist stuff.

Having to pay extra for a towel - most travellers don’t have their own, so I always think this is a little unnecessary, it should come with the room.

Late check in was accommodated and very straightforward as well, and there were plenty of toilets and showers available for use. Rooms were however clean and functional, and beds were comfortable as well.

Rooms that were on the first floor in the reception building were a little inconvenient as using the showers meant having to go outdoors. The walls were also a little thin and we could hear footsteps from above us

I recently stayed at a hostel in Gothenburg, and I must say it was a great experience. The cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, and the staff members were extremely helpful and kind. The best part was that it offered excellent value for the price. The hostel felt safe, which was important to me, and I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen that had everything I needed for cooking. Additionally, the hostel had a lovely patio and living room area, which created a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, helpful staff, and convenient amenities. Enough showers and toilets everywhere... don't be afraid you won't need to wait.

Hostel is hoteles... I don't like sharing room but that's not related to the hostel.
