The staff especially the receptionists they dont speak English properly The food was not as expected The breakfast was not what we paid for in a 5-star resort The spa was fully booked! There were cracks in the wall Too many light switches The shower condiments were terrible! Its not an adult only hotel No effort to welcome honeymooners especially its a winning 5 star resort

We always stay at this particular property due to the intensive staff. Warm and welcoming. Norah the assistant front desk manager was the go to man. Always there to help including the morning breakfast servers buggy drivers. I’m always so happy with 10star service here.

The rooms are getting old needs updates. Needs a refresh from hardwood floors to dirty worn out shredded ends discolored towels that they use to make pretty elephants on the bed. First thing I see for a 5 star pool villa, I do not appreciate seeing. The pool could be way cleaner from Outside to inside. Rusted broken when looking over the side of pool. They have way older Villa and some are newer. Never know what you’re going to get. Rooms need more updating. For the price we deserve better quality for five star pool villa.

Romantic resort on a hillside with a beautiful beach. The villas are amazingly well designed. The breakfast is amazing! Must try the honey that drips from the honeycomb! The staff is very accommodating and well trained. I had a minor accident--broke a few toes climbing on rocks in sandals (not smart on my part). The hostess at the front desk pulled out a first aid kit and proceeded to clean and bandage my wound. I couldn't have done it better myself and I'm a doctor!

Being the faithful Instagram husband, I was disappointed when we learned that they took down the swing. My wife was really looking forward to taking pictures in a long, flowing dress. Apparently, someone got drunk, fell off the swing, and broke his arm so the resort took the swing down. As that was the worst part of our experience you can tell the trip was absolutely amazing!

- Villa is just gorgeous, spacious and well maintained - views are out of this world - Pool in the villa is on beautifully placed to have a direct view towards the ocean - Bed is so comfortable and clean - service is good (most times) : e.g. they sent us with the buggy out to the small town area. friendly staff - it is just a buggy ride or short walk down from the main lobby to the small town area with way cheaper restaurants and shopping or even down to the beautiful beach

- I can see they are trying their best but the buggy service from lobby up to the villa can be a long wait - up to 20 mins. most guests would need to take the buggy due to the resort being built on a hillside. - the buffet breakfast is not great : selection and food quality is limited - would’ve rated this hotel higher but I saw a cockroach running around the breakfast buffet - lobby area is anything but impressive compared to the villas - housekeeping service is not very good. they did bare minimum - sometimes difficult to reach the main service line

When Russians hogged bathing huts early morn for themselves n anyone who spoke Russian. Smoking in communal area pool n breakfast Breakfast could have been warmer eggs n veges cold but got used to it and staff very attentive

Absolutely stunning location. The resort has been beautifully designed to work the steepness of the site to their advantage. The result is georgous views and a lovely pathways which meander through the terraced gardens. We loved to walk down to breakfast and back each day, approx 7 mins from our villa, although it was easy to call room service to be collected by beach buggy instead. Each villa has privacy and so tranquil (no kids!) We loved the view from bed, bathroom and pool. The resorts pools which were all very quiet, I guess as everyone has their own plunge pool by their room. Breakfast was stunning! Such an amazing selection to suit all tastes, cultures and diets, we didn't need to eat till dinner. Lovely to have use of the sister resort, Katathani, we didnt realise this until we arrived. This gives access to a lovely sunset bar with happy hour cocktails and a range of resturants; all of which could be added to the room tab. The beach is beautiful, great snorkling off the rocks at the end. The little village of Kata Noi has just big enough to offer a good choice of resturants if you are on more of a budget, 3 massage places, a small 7/11, pharmacy, ATM and 3 places to be measured for a suit! A little further out Heaven resturant is a must for a panoramic sunset dine.

This hotel is one of the best ever been to. Everything at the Shore is made to make you feel relaxed, happy and serene. The villas are huge, with an amazing view, and super well equipped. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The bed is SO confortable. Everything is perfect.

Fruit juices ! It is a shame than in all upper range resorts fruit juices are not good because not fresh, they are bottle juices. Please propose fresh fruit juices, shakes, it will change everything. We tried juices for breakfast and at the sunset bar, and they were not fresh in either time. It is a small thing, but it will make a huge difference!

the villa was amazing and super clean, I highly recommended this ocean romance villa .

The buffet for breakfast was really standard other low rate resorts has better options. all days was fine until our last day I ordered an omelette and smells really wired and I eat it however after a couple of hours I got really bad food poisoning unfortunately I didn’t expect that from 5 star hotel.

The room was exceptional. I booked a seaside romance pool villa. The privacy was high, clean room and spacious. The view was astonishing, especially with the infinite pool. The staff were super friendly, buggy was fast to arrive upon request. Breakfast buffet was good. The spa was outstanding. Basically, I loved everything in this resort.

It takes a bit of time riding the buggy and some turns to get to and from the room to anywhere. And most roads are not designed for walking to and from the room especially the far ones.

an hour drive from Airport.. half hour from Patong beach and old town if you need to go anywhere in the resort you need a golf cart but they come to you early
