We really liked the location, next to Miyashita Park and Bic Cam. There's a family mart about 3 mins walk. Convenient and accessible by train. The big window that looks down to Shibuya street and watch the trains pass by, bliss. We booked a twin room (with 1 wide bed), put them together to make it an extra wide bed, super comfortable. That also created extra space for luggage.

There's no elevator to the hotel lobby. There's 1 for the staff, which you have to go up to 4th floor to come down to LG which is the lobby. If you don't know, you'll end up at a random place that's for Staff only. Families with strollers got to take note. There's an escalator to the lobby, which you can still use with your luggage.

While the Shibuya Tokyu REI Hotel excels in location and service, there are a couple of areas that could be improved for an even more seamless stay. One notable concern is the type of electrical outlets provided in the rooms. Currently equipped with only 2-prong outlets, it poses a slight inconvenience for travelers carrying devices that require 3-prong connections. Guests are advised to bring a 3-prong to 2-prong adapter for their electronic devices. This small adjustment can significantly enhance the convenience for international travelers. Additionally, the hotel could consider upgrading the microwave oven on the 5th floor with larger and more powerful models. This upgrade would allow guests more versatility in preparing a wider range of meals, adding to the comfort of their stay.

Breakfast is good. Location is excellent. Hotel has washing machine.

The reception is at the basement and there is no lift to the road level , inconvenient with large and multiple luggage.

Location is fantastic, so close to Shibuya train station. Bed was comfortable and the daily room service was excellent. The Air Conditioning was very dry and the first 2 nights I woke up with a very dry and sore throat. The final night I worked out that the device in the room was a humidifier, having not every used one before I did not understand it's benefits in an air conditioned space. So on the final night I left it on all night and woke up feeling so much better, my throat was not dry and sore. Wished I worked that out sooner.

Size of room I realise is good for Tokyo but not what small compared to hotels in other cities I have stayed outside of Japan. But the location made up for it.

The location is wonderful. When you've been walking around all day, the last thing you want is another long walk back to the hotel...You won't have to deal with that at Tokyu REI

My room was soooo small - I had just enough room to open my checked luggage bag in the area between the bathroom.and the wall, it was difficult to pack but it is not a big deal.

Great location - very close to the train station and shops. Staff were lovely and were able to accommodate a last minute request for a late check out.

The location was perfect to be in the middle of Shibuya and really close to the train station (less than 3 mins walking). The rooms were clean and like most places in Tokyo it had a bidet toilet. What I loved most was the breakfast buffet in the mornings, serving Japanese breakfast dishes along with some more common breakfast dishes. Most restaurants are not open early (before 10AM) so this was a nice alternative.

Lack of TV options, (you have to pay for TV and its only in Japanese) and the rooms did not have the best AC but it could suffice. Also, the room was on the smaller size for a hotel.

The staff were very nice and helpful and accomodating - even helped me ship my luggage to my next hotel. The location was great -- busy area, but not too loud, and a 2-minute walk from a major subway station with a million connecting lines, and just about every type of restaurant, cafe, store, etc you could want!

Overall, there really weren't any super negatives that would prevent me staying there again. But...my room was pretty musty. That's my only issue with the hotel/my experience -- even with the room's included "fabric & room refresher spray", it was kinda musty. Still a great experience, location, and staff though.

The location was excellent and the rooms were clean.

We had booked the second room to be a twin only to be told on arrival there were no twin rooms left and there was no compensation given.

The bath has a tub and the water very hot. Location is great for food and getting around town. Conditions of the room is good.

The wifi was slow, the room was rather cramped. The window opens to the neighbouring building's wall, no view.
