I liked the breakfast, although it was very expensive. On the first day, a buffet breakfast was served and cost $21. The following day a la cart 10 dollars (omlet, bacon) Coffee was Starbucks and free. it was also possible to make coffee and tea in the hotel room. It was located right by the river, it was very romantic to have breakfast. Although it was also cool (the weather was windy).

Parking was paid, even though I was a hotel customer, so the customer could still park for free. it was extremely cold in the room. every sound outside could be heard in the room, probably because of the large glass windows. I have never encountered such concern anywhere in the world. the water in the toilet went down very badly. In the meantime, I was scared that the water was not going down, but it just took a long time.

The professional of everyone front the front desk, the young man that assist me was very professional I give him a 10 plus. The only thing, I had to wait three hours before I got my room, the young ladies in the restaurant was very professional I give them a 10..

I had to wait three hours before I was assigned a room, I had to be at the Convention Center for our Public Meeting, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. I didn't know you had to request to have your room cleaned into I ask one of the cleaning ladies, and she informed me I had to make the request at the front desk.

The location on the river walk was great! Unless on has a mobility issue, it was an easy walk from the hotel to the convention center. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Any food I got from the restaurant or pool bar was very good. Also, I was not charged for one entire night when there were three fire alarms from midnight to 1:30 AM, which I thought went above and beyond for the hotel management when they might have offered some smaller discount or even no discount. It really speaks well of them!

The maid cleaned the coffee "bar" but did not replace all items. It took 2 calls for someone to bring replacement items. (Not a big deal, though!) There was some confusion about what time the restaurant was to close on the Friday night. At first a waiter said they'd closed at 9 PM, which was disappointing as I got there a few minutes after and there didn't seem to be nearby alternatives. Then another waiter said, "No, the kitchen isn't closing until 10 PM." This was a huge relief for me and another family who'd gotten there a few minutes after 9PM. We all then sat together and enjoyed an excellent meal. But staff should know the proper closing time. (And who would close a restaurant at 9 PM on a Friday night when there's not much else within easy walking distance at night?)

I recently stayed at a hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. They went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities I could ask for, including a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge. The bathroom was also clean and modern, with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries. It was clear that the staff had put a lot of thought into making my stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel also had a great location, with easy access to all the major attractions in the area. I was able to explore the city and its many sights without having to worry about transportation. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff, amenities, and location all exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The view and it’s right on the water. Great staff. Camilla And Andrew Checked me in at great speeds and they were very helpful. Andrew Was able too check me in even when the computer system was down. He did it on his phone in a split second and had me in a beautiful room with a great view of downtown. Thanks Andrew. Camilla was a sweet lady who made me feel good about extending my stay she was quick in checking my out and right back in the same room Andrew had me in. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was amazing. Also the GM always greeted me when I came in and out the hotel I felt very comfortable knowing they care on my stay. Overall 100% on my first stay there at TRH. Bless you guys and see you again.

The location was amazing! Located right on the Riverwalk with plenty of restaurants, bars, and the arena within walking distance. The pool and pool bar were great (although pool isn’t heated). Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool. Great mix of music always playing. Close to a great, less crowded running trail (Bayshore trail) just over the bridge - thank you to Lauren our bartender for suggesting this! The river view room with the balcony was amazing… morning coffee and pregaming drinks on the balcony each day was absolutely perfect! The view was gorgeous and we would see dolphins and manatees swimming up and down the river routinely. I will definitely stay here again!

Our corner room window didn’t seem to be installed properly. It felt like it could be pushed out if you tried. There wasn’t any silicone around the window to hold it into place. This made it very easy to hear any/all outside noises. The food was somewhat expensive so we requested a microwave and walked to the Publix just over the bridge to purchase some food and drinks. When we would request items (towels, more coffee, a microwave etc) it would take a long time to be delivered - sometimes the next day.

Ideal location for Amalie Arena

I've read alot of negative reviews about this place and was afraid to stay here. But it was only for one night so we took a chance. We had "The City view with balcony" our room was on the fifth floor. This place was beyond my expectations! It was beautiful in the lobby and the rooms were clean. There were alot of fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. There was also a TV and a coffee maker in the room with 2 bottles of water. (Everything a normal hotel has). The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. They even gave us a voucher for a free drink at the pool bar. I didn't use the pool, but it was clean. At the restaurant we had breakfast and it was delicious! Check out was easy. We will stay here again if we go back to Tampa.

Check in is too late in the day but I'm sure there is a reason for it.

breakfast buffet. every time we stay at the hotel we take advantage of having a restaurant in the hotel. however. this is the second time that when we come in for the buffet before 10:00am. the eggs are all dried the whole gray is practically empty. . potatoes are so dried dat is having a piece of shoe sole. then we have to wait because there’s no French toast so by the time you wait for them the eggs are cold too. we believe that they are making sure that there’s no waste. but $20 bufet whatever is served should be fresh not like having left overs. we probably won’t have breakfast there anymore. is a shame because is so convenient.

The staff made all the difference to us. Jeanette was our housekeeper. When I explained to her that our coffee maker wasn't working, she dropped everything to swap it out and made sure we had plenty of coffee to go with. She was SO friendly and enthusiastic. You would have thought we were guests in her own home. Jose at the front desk was also personable and welcoming. He spent time helping us bridge separate reservations we made on consecutive days so we could stay in the same room. He made it feel like it was no big deal for him, but it was a HUGE convenience to us. The location and riverside pool were why we came, but the people are what will want to make us come back. Thank you, Jeanette & Jose!

The fan in the room (410) was noisy. Slight annoyance, but not a big enough deal to make us say anything or request another room.
